U can brush from the top, the start at the ends is just what people teach but if your hair is healthy & detangled enough it doesn't make a big difference as long as you're gentle.
@@doThatGWalk See but she detangles her hair like that. Though she has healthy hair, it being wet makes it easier to break, which is why you are supposed to start from end to root because it detangles without the pull and tear. I would understand maybe if she finger combed first, but she goes straight in with the comb and then the brush. If she went in tip to root it wouldn't get caught like it does.

They say to not use sulfates and silicones but the people that use them have the longest and healthiest hair. AMERICA EXPLAIN!!!

Its bullshit lmao I use sulfates and my hair is softer than when I dont. The key is to condition really well after. Sulfates and silicones are not evil, it’s pretty much marketing at this point
The problem with silicone and sulfates with curly hair is that it begins to build up on the hair shaft over time bc it doesn’t penetrate. Other than that, they aren’t the worse things for your hair, all you need to do is make sure to detox your hair every once in a while.
silicones coat your hair so you can use them occasionally not on a regular basis and if you’re going to use them make sure you strip them out eventually you can get product buildup from them and I wouldn’t recommend using anything w/ sulfates they have clarifying shampoo that deep cleans your hair without any sulfates

Both are so beautiful. Gorgeous curls. Jasmines hair is thicker with looser curl pattern. Joyjas is thinner with a tighter curl pattern. Interesting how many curl patterns there are.
