Well, this is a real walk-in museum! 😊👍👏 It's great to be able to be in this time for once.😃 A whole village that brings old times to life. Some things are even nicer than what you find in these modern times.😉 A little gem, you could say...🤗👌 Kind regards, Wally
Its like going back in Time, it's so interesting to see how different things were back then it's a big place I didn't have enough time in 1 visit to see everything 😀👍
I like places like this where you can immerse yourself in the past to see what it was like.😊 Now you have a good reason to visit there again, that's good...😃👏👍 Best wishes Wally
The row of colliery houses shown at14-30 were part of Lyons street Hetton le Hole which were dismantled brick by brick and stone, numbered and rebuilt at the museum then furnished with items relevant to the period, my late father was born in number 8 in 1922.
Great video my wife and I love going here. I agree with your comment about you cannot fit it all into one day so its great having the pass for the year. I have subscribed to your channel. Keep a watch on the different events they hold through the year. I have a lot of Beamish on my channel.
@@kjmphotographynortheast5437 Thanks, I will check out your channel 😃 Yes I’ve seen nearly every week there is a different event going on I will definitely be back there again soon. Is there a new section in the 1950’s town open now?
@@chunkydembry5477 that was first time I’ve been and I loved it, I can’t wait to go again before summer is over, there is more new parts open now isn’t there?

@@whitbywanderer The cinema will be opening on the 6th July and so will the shops on the same block. The Drovers Tavern is also open now. 😃
@@kjmphotographynortheast5437 brilliant, lots more to see on my next visit, looking forward to going again 😀
