🇺🇸Elon Musk is a national hero and the liberal biased press should start treating him like one, giving him credit instead of constantly criticizing him. Because of Boeing’s continued failure with plane crashes and doors coming off Boeing planes in the sky and the Boeing Starliner unable to fly back the two astronauts it’s Elon Musk coming to the rescue of the stranded astronauts to get them back to earth using one of his starships spacecrafts. Elon Musk is a modern day Tesla or Albert Einstein. Remember, excellence is never an accident.

Beyond experience it also come down to the type of work. Take DevOps, the Development part is better done in the office collaborating with others, whereas the Operational part can be better done from home when the issues occur. So there is not one right answer to this and part of the challenge is how you deal with this from an HR point of view.

Elon once mentioned that a postage stamp of solar panels approximately 100 miles by 100 miles would produce enough energy to power the US. That's 10,000 miles & the US has about 70 Interstate Highways that total just under 50,000 miles which is 5 times more than what Elon said would power the US. Now imagine that the US would install along both sides of every Interstate highway a solar panel fence that could produce 10 times more electricity than the US would use today & most of that energy could be stored in batteries (Mega-Packs) installed along the highway in every state.
No new land would be required & because interstate highways run through every US state means that the Federal, State & Regional governments could all chip in to pay for this solar fencing along interstate highways at a pace each state can afford. Now imagine if every fence post also has a small wind turbine on it to take advantage of the wind created by the passing traffic & the fence could produce electricity 24/7 from solar panels & the small wind turbines on the fence posts. 50,000 miles of interstate highways with solar panels on both sides of the highway would produce 10 times more energy than the US uses today without taking up any new land would be the easiest & cheapest way to produce the amount of energy that will be required for the near future. Tesla's Optimus could be used as the work force to install these solar panel/wind trbine fences along interstate highways.

IMO The occupancy network is the key part of Teslas data advantage. This can’t emerge solely from language models or watching videos . Agi/robots needs this as it’s foundational model to build on.
This is a huge head start for Optimus. First for navigation, but more importantly shaping it to intuitively understand the real world, common sense, physics, interpret videos, etc.

Remote work has it's advantages and disadvantages. It really depends on the exact circumstances. It can absolutely work, we've been remote 2020 and it's not decreased productivity much.
And for employees working from home can be a huge plus. And that can also benefit the business. For example overtime. When you work in the office, you either stay or go home, there's no in between. So if you have to go home for any reason, that's it for the day. But when you work from home, you can deal with your personal stuff then hop back on your work computer and continue.

In an average office there's a lot of distractions too. At home in highly depends on your circumstances. If you live in a small apartment with 3 young children, then you probably don't get much work done. But if you can have a room just for yourself most of the time, than it's pretty good.
It also depends on the work. If it requires a lot of communication then office is probably better. Mine is mostly lonely work, sometimes I don't need to talk to anyone for a week. Most jobs are probably somewhere in between.
Accountability can be problematic. But it's not necessarily easier in the office either. Just because someone is sitting in front of a monitor doesn't mean they are working.
One way is for to regularly check their progress and compare it to norms.
Another is to build a team you can trust. And ideally have both.

Listen to Eric and fully agree with him. Larry if you disagree with Eric then ask yourself are you right. Much respect to Larry, but in this instance listen and don't make stuff up.
