This seems to make the most sense for people who want a very simple turnkey solution, don't have a trainer already, don't have a bike or feel like using their existing bike(s) on a trainer, and are willing to pay a premium for it. Otherwise, get the same exact trainer for $500, Play controllers for $100, and either use your existing bike(s) or buy a cheap used bike and use it exclusively for this, and save $500 or more. AND you'll be able to use the setup on more than just Zwift, but it'll likely have multiple gears.
I think it looks really cool solution for a lot of people. They’ve managed to make the thing adaptable while retaining the looks. The only think I’m not sure about is the price, I can’t see how it all adds up to more than £1k considering most parts are rather basic
great vid and Graham has put a lot of thought into this which is cool. Im thinking about buying it but the core experience will be the same, riding and looking at the screen. Im curious what others think of button overload, in the end I just want to ride
@@roadcc So the kicker core comes with the bike? Sorry for the dumb questions... If it does come with the bike then that actually sounds like a pretty good deal. Love the channel by the way!!! 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
Rediculous price and doesnt even have a rocker feature. One of the keys to making a trainer comfortable and more realistic, is to have a rocker board or a mechanism to enable side to side motion.
Only really makes economic sense if you have 2 or more different sized people sharing the same trainer. Otherwise, just buy a used bike in your size and leave it on the trainer.
Really doesn't even make sense then. Same saddle? Same crank length? Same bar width? If all these align then, yeah, two same sized people can share the same trainer. If not I don't see the advantage here. And I'm an avid Zwiftie. Wish they'd have just made an all in one bike (with the wahoo climb front end) that was super easy to adjust. Two easily removable seat posts with your preferred saddle and handlebars along the lines of Canyon's width-adjustable bars. Serious training should be as realistic as possible when it comes to one's everyday bike fit.
@crabgrassFarmer, it makes great sense for those who don't already have a trainer. The wahoo is $500 on its own and it comes with the bike in this case.
I like the product manager a lot. Doesn't seem like a lot of ego but he's clearly worked very hard on every detail and come up with an offering that will hit a sweet spot on the market. I'd like to see a version with a full kickr 6 but credit to them for this very neat solution
I've just received my Zwift ride today. This video says 10 minutes from box to ride.....rubbish. Unboxing carefully probably takes 20+ minutes minimum. The instructions are APPALLING, and to make matters worse, the many short videos, supposedly to help, are nearly as bad. It took me nearly 2 hours to get to the riding stage. I had to make an experienced guess on a number of occasions as to what to do. Zwift, please, please get someone who knows how to write instructions/manuals to re-write everything. But after that rant, I'm happy with the product ....... so far 🫣
I would have just used a belt drive on that system, less maintenance and quieter.
Cool. Just look on their website, I'm sure you'll find an email to send your resume for new product manager at Zwift.
how would you have easily made the trainer demountable in that setup?
@thomas-fy9yc, actually the set up is very quiet as is.
There’s a belt drive single speed on the market, so yes totally possible.

Oh, but the smile on his face when he called out the price, at the end!🤭🤭🤭
black color and i’d be interested

Why doesn't it come with the ZWIFT smart trainer? Seems odd they're using the Wahoo... maybe it's just me?..?
The zwift smart trainer has been discontinued - following the law suit the kickr core is now offered with the zwift cog instead

@@Velo757 yes, it comes with the bike. That's what makes it a good deal for those who don't already have a trainer.
@@markanderson7833 okay cool thanks mate!!!
Is it possible to change and install crank arms of different lengths?
クランク長は1番必要ですね
For 2 or more household members? A fantastic economic option!
How do i level it on an slopped floor?
I wished my gym would get this
Will it fit on the kicker to
사고 싶다....

i tried a trainer for one winter and got so depressed.. i ended up getting a mountain bike so i can bike outside throughout winter
Very tempted but ticked off that unlike the rest of the world Australia does not get free zwift as part of the package
Does not seem to come with free Zwift in the U.S. and I don't think it does anywhere.

$50 a month guys come on down
For that kind of money, it’s better to buy an aluminum bicycle to go with this smart trainer.
Wait, it's $1200 and doesn't come with the smart trainer? That's preposterous. Just buy a bike FFS.
@darrenx9, follow along. It does come with the Wahoo.
happy news for you, the smart trainer is included in the price; so it REALLY is a good deal!
Very interested but only by the frame as I already have a Wahoo Kickr at home. Hoping it could be compatible....
Zwift is working on compatibility across a range of trainers but pretty sure the KICKR will be top of the list
Why does it need a top tube? Looks like it wont fit most asians under 170cm withthat standover height….😂
It is probably going to be like getting on a really big horse 😂
Why aren’t you able to adjust the crank length…

@@markanderson7833 I didn't know it comes with a Kickr Core. That's a different proposition then. Thanks.
@@CrabgrassFarmer it makes it worth the deal for sure.
So, instead of getting a 20k custom made bike fitting jig, I can just get this instead and open up my very own bike fitting clinic? I’m in! 🤣

big mistake not making compatible with Kikr climb ect
They say modular, but how much is the bike on its own instead of the kickr core?
People that use Zwift already have a bike that goes on a turbo. Those same people now know why their subscription just increased.
"Affordable" add in the wahoo that's what? £1.7k? That's more than all three of my bikes combined.
Price includes the kickr
@@jackdarby4145 ok that is good to know and makes it more appealing. Certainly cheaper than a static spin bike.
It is imperative to replace the metal chain with a timing belt.
