To be fair, ETA does make good movements. The issue is that it's a $200 movement (retail price, as a replacement) in a $20K+ watch. You can get high quality ETA movements watches for well under $500. Almost all of Tissot is this - and for the price, they are OK. Not special, but they are often on steep discount around the holidays. My current dress watch is a Tissot that I need for my bartending gigs on the weekend, as part of my "uniform". $140 on sale and works great. For that price it's excellent. For $14K.. yeah, not buying that trash.
