I think it all depends on the couple and their way of life. For them I think it is the best option as they work together in the ndhlovu uncut production and they have shared income flow. It's different when a couple have different jobs. I know Jeannie had the same type of marriage. Her husband protected his wealth which he had inherited before getting married (which is a wise decision) and he had more money than Jeannie. If married in community of property (ICOP), also consider what happens should one partner passes on and they have accumulated significant debt. Or even whilst both partners are still alive and there is a business involved (owned by one of the partners) whatever debts of the business are the responsibility of both partners. (So many more scenarios to consider before making this decision).
