All these look spectacular. I'm a FPS guy....have been from day 1 (especially, the games that take place in a realistic/accurate historical setting). But, the Black Myth: Wukong, looks absolutely beautiful, with a fun story line.

Having played all of the MGS series, that new MGS Delta is going to be freaking awesome. SnakeEater is a fantastic story and great gamplay. The new graphics are just what I want in a game. Some think graphics aren't a big issue, but having played video games since the Atari days and the progression through to games today, many of us old gamers think the graphic elements are crucial. We have always anticipated the graphic advancements that we dreamed of and this is the fruit of our patience.
Exactly. I think there is a bit too much focus on graphics now(or always?). Dont need it to be better than it is now, focus on gameplay and stories. So many good looking games, so many boring looking games...
@@torsteinholen14 I started playing games on the Spectrum. A game needs good gameplay and stories, once you have a solid game the graphics (eye candy) comes later. On a side note, one of the best games I have ever played was metro exodus. The story line was excellent, and I don't mind admitting there was a tear in my eye when the final credits played.
Exactly, apart from some modern games with amazing life like graphics i & a few mates still have a quick few rounds of CHAOS which was written by Julian Gollop but has now been re written for the p.c. Basically its just a board game which looks quite basic but having up to 8 players (or p.c. controlled). The p.c. version is called Chaos groove.
Underrated comment. They are scared to try something new in AAA and AA. The non violent games are either platformer, or indy 2d or walking simulators.. No imagination.

Looks all nice. But there is a difference between a in game movie and real gameplay. One of the more realistic ones are Stalker and Digested by movement. Love Unrecorded, Black State but especially Exodus and AstroPulse because their Alien-like story. A lot uses the UE5 engine, a powerful engine seen it's popularity. (Where did the Cry/Dunia or ID Tech 7 engines go?) But it has is drawbacks also. If the producers prefer a AWSD config and don't let you reconfigure the keys than you must Powertools to correct the issue. But in the end the storyline determine if the game is any good. Realisme is just a facet of it. Only possible by use of the currently available graphic cards because these games are demanding. Raytracing, DLSS, FSR, XeSS comes with a price.
The ponchos in Black State look amazing… some of the player movements are still ‘stilted’ and stiff (the transitions) but it looks pretty darn good… (I’m still watching while I’m making this comment)
will there ever be a way to connect your plastic pistol to the game engine? on second thought it might be a lot of work to hold a pose like that for very long.
we will no unknown games we will blockbusters wiuth top graphics.. a real cool open world startrek game, a new alien game or AvP game maybe in vr, or some other cool games to top movies.. like batman superman and co or a battlestar galactica game
Some of these games have that ugly unreal 5 “samey” look to it. Idk how to explain it, but if there’s a video out there with all unreal 5 engine games coming, then watch and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

So in black state, the ai can't see you when they look in your direction, I'll pass, realistic graphics is a passing fad , you still need gameplay

yikes Astropulse looks like artistic theft of iconic scenes in other games. Resident Evil (Apoc), Starcraft (Kerrigen), Diablo (Lilith) to name a few.
