As far as the story, there's no one certain theory: based on what the members have said, we know that there are themes of time travel and parallel realities: some members are humans and some are androids (the barcodes) and there is tension where some people want to become androids and some want to remain human. In this video, something awakens android Laun (to upload? by uploading something to him?" and he makes a sacrifice of his own power battery to do whatever he does to the big piece of machinery. People have already mentioned that their title MVs (ON/Off->Complete->We Must Love->Why) are all part of the same story/'cinematic universe', so there's that: they also have a number of performance or self-made MVs for b-sides that are great. From the first album there's Original (more of a dance bop) and Cat's Waltz (cute an chill, literally lyrics from a cat's POV which how cute is that): 2nd album there's Fly Me To The Moon (performance!!!) and Incomplete (they filmed their own MV for a show and it is as weird as their weird lil minds could do): 3rd album YaYaYa has live stages (latin flavor and empowering lyrics!) and I Do had a MV filmed by the members and edited by member U: 4th album has a lyric video for Moscow Moscow (aesthetic as hell, a chill and mysterious groove), a member-filmed and U-edited MV for All Day (CUTE AS HELL, got an upbeat sound similar to ON/OFF actually) and a halloween dance practice for Twinkle Twinkle (cuteness overload, self choreographed). Not to mention the various 'selfie MVs' for other songs. Their discography is flawless and their b-sides worth looking into!
