John me too but only because of Season 1 not Root A. They ruined majority of the intense elements which were perceived from the original with Root A. 1st one was a good introduction to Tokyo Ghoul but the continuation with Root A instead of doing the Original material ruined it for a lot. A few elements that are different from the original material was cool but most of it with the pacing was just garbage thus the Studio got major negative feedback for doing that.
Thankfully Madhouse is in the scene taking on the production for Season 3! Leave it to Madhouse to bring it back where it deserves in quality!
I know its different but the end goal is still the same, I just dont like when people hate the show for not following the manga even its better. All that hate makes season 3 less reachable

Saiko definitely was best girl this chapter. With her wild imagination, she was able to manipulate her kagune into powerful fists in order to try to snap Urie out of his rampage. In the end, a comforting hug, as well as RC suppressant, was what it took to finally stop his berserker state. Interesting to note that Urie's kakuja mask looked like the mask that Uta made for him during the mask operation (though it also resembled Eto's owl too). Also, Saiko noted, being very observant, that Urie like her beloved Maman would try to take on everything on his own and end up hurting himself. It seems that Urie suppressed his thoughts of Haise leaving them behind with his angry outburst. What will happen now as a result of Urie framing out? Will Saiko conceal it from her superiors because if word gets out, Urie may no longer be able to stay as an investigator? I guess it depends on what she and Hsaio decides.
not to mention with his frames completely out, there is n way he can live off human food anymore...
Also, it's not totally impossible that Saiko and xiao leave CCG....well if there is a CCG to go back to. We still havent seen the Furuta's and the Clowns' plan go into full fruition; they could still have some more tricks in store.

The body degradation part was mentioned before. It's why Urie went and lifted far more than he should, because tissue damage results in the RC cell network spreading and strengthening the body as it heals the damage. The doctor tending to the QS was telling Urie about it in a flashback, and showed him Sasaki's RC cell network.
I assume V's brand of "peace" is the birdcage. They'll eliminate anyone who attempts to destroy the birdcage.
At the rate of chill Ishida at is going I wouldn't be surprised if he drops some huge ass bomb about Kaneki's father. If that happens I think my brain is going to melt out of my ears.

The degradation of the body assisting RC cell integration is why they tortured the owls and is inadvertently why Kaneki is so strong it makes him. It makea Urie's physical form more like a ghoul.
Savon Moreland the rc cells seeps into the body because the human body cant regenerate that fast. we also have an x ray of kaneki's body showing where the rc cells seep into (mostly on the head, crotch, fingers and stomach)

This is why Urie work out so much. Hurting and regenerating his muscles is what he was talking about With "degrading"

Chibi had a brainfart with all that theory stuff. Half of the things he wasn't sure about had been confirmed by Chibi himself in earlier videos. You know, RC regeneration (Such as Kaneki's genitals and xrays showing RC cells there) and RC cells having to pick between regen and kagune.
Yea chiiiibs the whole rc cell thing has been mentioned multiple times before, the more damage a ghoul takes the stronger they become ( Kaneki, Jason, ayato, Seido, and many others) Urie is working out to damage his muscles so the rc cells will wrap around the healing muscles making them stronger. That's the reason he was able to break out of Saikos Kagune cage, also imo I don't think saiko being out of shape earlier in RE has anything to do with her strength now, she was shown working out before with sasaki, plus it was stated that she had the highest compatibility rate with the Quinx surgery

Nope, the bodies degrading thing was about breaking down muscle fibers, so the RC cells can fill your body, repair them and you get stronger. That was already mentioned when we saw Urie lifting after his Frame release surgery, when he challenged himself by lifting heavier than normally to break down his muscle fibers so that the RC cells would repair them and spread in his body quicker. It was mentioned regarding the Qs, you could view it as a less fucked up and saver way to speed up the spread of rc cells (the other option that we saw was torture/taking a ton of damage multiple times ad compared to that it's rather tame).
The whole thing with what Urie said in the flashback about RC cell permeation was the same thing that happened to seido. Kanou said that the more a body is destroyed RC cells will be used to heal that area making a ghoul stronger. Uries training to become stronger by destroying his muscles and allowing them to be fused with kagune
saiko was said to have the highest aptitude for being a quinx. so the fact the her kagune is so powerful and dexterous is due to that fact alone and her EC value only went up by 2 factors.

Regarding the RC Cells it was mentioned early in :Re when Urie visits the CCG's doctor, he makes an example of kaneki's body, of how his rc cells are spread on his body etc.
Midway through the video; by "degrading" Urie references the fact that getting wounded/ injured triggers RC cells to find their way to the injured area to heal said injury. Once it's done the path the RC cells took is permanent allowing faster and more effective regeneration the next time. I believe Kanou mentionned it.
In this situation, it seems that weight lifting is a very effective way to trigger this phenomenon, since muscle training basically consists of tearing down your muscle tissues so they can heal and get even stronger and bigger, and Ghouls, Half Ghouls and Qs, have a much more efficient healing capacity so they can recover much faster than a normal human being, and ultimately build a stronger body in a shorter amount of time. Basically, RC cells act like super steroids.
Am I the only one excited that we finally get actual panel time of Saiko's fighting skills?? XD disregarding imagination and all, her kagune was always kept secret and it was considered fearsome by ccg members in the past.

In One Punch Man, it was so cool when Suiryu said he would fight the monsters. He was able to tank a hit from Saitama with no damage. I hope he becomes a hero, the association could use someone like him. Perhaps that is what Saitama will do for the association.

THe RC cells penetrating through the system thing WAS referrenced before, namely at the start of :re where we see the RC paths in Haise's body. What Urie's doing is he's using lifting to make paths all over his body, I assume.

When you said that rc cells might have a mind of their own, what it that makes rc cells like a disease or virus that envelops the host, like how a ghoul goes crazy when their really hungry, or how urie and kaneki lost it when going kakuja form. Its like the person is completely gone, and the rc cells have taken over. A disease that isnt contagious, and can only be contracted manually.
Chibi, in a very general sense, when you lift weights, you damage your muscle fibers and they grow back stronger. When Urie said when their bodies degrade, it allows the RC cells to penetrate better, he meant his body degrading from him lifting weights and destroying his muscle fibers.
I think only a few writers can make a character shine so much with only one chapter, good job Ishida ! Saiko was definitely a good character already, but now she has moved up so much in the ranks !!! Saiko ftw !!

I'm pretty sure when hsiao was talking about the RC cells focusing on something else she didn't mean they were sentient.
I think she meant like when a body gets 2 injuries you'll feel the pain from the most serious injury. Getting Urie's body to focus on healing will focus his RC cells and bring down him down from his freak out
we don't know if Donato cloned himself or not it was never confirmed, and saiko's kagune is interesting but i think kaneki and eto could do better they already have.
and as for the rize clone theory i don't think they are her but they used her kakahou on different patients for testing.
Even though I know Eto and Kaneki can do better it still impressed me with the fact that Saiko hasn't broken any frames. Just imagine what she could do iif she broke as many frames as Urie.

I also have thoughts about rc cells in the tokyo ghoul universe the rc cells are like a gateway to extreme biology feats.
When Hsiao mentions the damage What I think shes implying is that when ghouls, half ghouls (etc) get gravely damaged their bodies divert rc cells towards healing rather than offence. This can be seen when a ghouls kagune begins disintegrating after taking a bad hit. Depending on the amount of rc cells available a ghoul will have a difficult time both healing and forming a kagune.
Saiko is the best girl next to Eto. I already forgot Ayato's sister name. She is no longer important :P

May take on the ending. This whole operation was a way for Furuta to get Kaneki to unintentionally find Rize's whereabouts/something about Rize for him that the remainder of V is keeping a secret from him. Given that it has been hinted there has been a leak about Kaneki's lab operation and the nature of V is still very obscure at this point (made even more intriguing by the past few chapters).
Food for though:
think of the experiment that the Q's went thru as RC implants rather than transplants like Kaneki. Because they have a specific limit to how the rc cells flow throughout the body (i.e the frames) this makes it difficult for anyone who undergoes the current Q surgery to actually reach their full capacity.
if you think about...and i mean THINK. all of the main male and female half-ghouls have been rather..fit. kaneki is no fucking exception. hide even said it in that chapter .."dude youre freakin ripped".
What if being a bit more lax as a Q and not really utilizing her kagune, this let the rc cells...sit in her system and just build up..like fatty cells or something.
its a bit far fetched but, now that shes been training herself and tbhb has a much vaster imagination than the rest of her crew, its not far off to say that her lax attitude in the beginning helped foster her strength now. and the fact that shes fuckin best girl also gives her vast amounts of strength too

The degrading aspect has been brought up before! (Kaneki getting continuously wrecked by Jason, Urie lifting like a MFer.). It's to cause muscle strain so cell regen that would occur from injuries or being sore - to create new muscle reinforced by integrated RC Cells. It's supposedly why Kaneki, Seidou, Kurona, etc are so goddamn strong after all their torture.
