It seems like there's almost nothing Zerg can do to prevent or even slow down Clem's onslaught. But, if the meta becomes multi-pronged multiple Nydus/overlord drop harass to try and muscle your way into a stable position, that could make for some really exciting games. One of my all-time favorite games to watch was one of Maru vs Scarlett where Maru was constantly launching nukes. Over 100 in a single game, was such a cool style of playing that I wish was more common/viable. Would be so cool if Zerg could do the same thing, just with mass Nydus. If it does happen, I take full credit and demand this strat be called "BREAKDANCING ZERG" Maru 100+ nukes match for those interested: ua-cam.com/video/m_JuiwVowiU/v-deo.html
You sir know how to play zerg: clem is a very greeeeeeeeeeeedy and agresive! Terran ,his strat is very Simple, efective , and is almost simultaneous economy and harrasing at the sa time crippling you to death, this kid is insane with terrans
Always felt like Reynor is always better than Serral when going up against Clem. He is just better at making the game more scrappy. I hope we will have a Clem vs Dark soon, I think he is one of the other Zergs that makes Clem look "shaky"
Clem is definitly number 1 at this moment.. can change of course. But we have to remember the last patches. Zerg got hit, and Protoss right now is in a difficult place in the game. So Clem is good yes there is no question about that.. but again it can change fast. Can't wait to see the next couple years. Crazy that this game is still giving us that much fun even after all those years.
Reynor's extra spore at his 4th and properly positioned spores in main, 3rd, and natural were very helpful in reducing the first medivac drop pain. The amount of attention that it saved, and the ability to be aggressive instead of chasing around the medivacs was worth the investment. Why not make it standard to add in 1 or 2 extra if you know it's not a timing attack?
We're also talking about Reynor, right? The fastest player out there who pretty much is doing everything, everywhere, all at once. If HE deemed necessary to save himself some extra attention, I reckon ANY other Zerg should.
Starting from EWC, Clem has a 63-9 map score, 26 wins and 0 loss, 1 tie (I count the 3-3 map score vs Reynor in WTL semifinal as a tie, although Aigulac counts it as 1 win 2-0, 1 loss 0-2 and ignored the additional 1-1 tie). To me, Clem played Reynor 6 maps on the same day in WTL semifinal, the 3-3 score should be counted as a tie obviously.
Not necessarily 'cause every individual match in a team match is, indeed, a match. They actually played two Bo2's and two Bo1's, since they were for "broke". Still, sick performance.
Ghosts are the best unit in the game. Snipes can remove every lurker you have in an instant with 1 scan. I think they need to be nerfed because I think alot of players both Z & P both feel hopeless when the ghost count gets high. They counter everything.
@@Vinizuca OK, They pretty much counter everything that zerg has and Its very difficult to make anything work against a large number of ghost late game. They desperately need to do something to avoid long drawn out boring games that we are often seeing now were the zerg cannot engage and eventually has to quit because there isnt much that can be done to end the game due to the resources mining out and inefficient trading. Planetarys and very strong defensive chokes with these new maps mean all the terran has to do is starve the zerg out knowing that its near on impossible for them to take a good trade to end the game. Obvioujsly, im talking about high diamond to low GM games here. It maybe diffrent at a pro level but the match up sucks for most of us.
@strongerandwiser2023 well, that was a bit of sarcasm as bio + shields mean like 90% of all units in the game. Also ghosts are extremelly durable due to invisibility and not being light nor armored.
Ghosts already got nerfed. And without buffing other units to compensate Terran would die every late game. Zerg has too much map control and mobility. Everyone hates the ghost but they never say which units they are ok with buffing to keep Terran competitive
To defeat clem you have to be fast and chaotic, trash talk before the game starts. Reynor: "we have an announcement to make, we are going to play random in the first match" 😂😂😂and later on in the game he send him a msg for not going random "lame" reynor is playing with his head big time 😂
Seems like atm Zerg has to depend on the Terran making mistakes. If neither side makes a big blunder, Terran wins, because they just trade much more efficiently. Clem had to make 3!! quite big mistakes that Reynor could win. While Reynor did no big mistake this game. And had an extremly clean early game with 0 drone losses. So yeah, Clem can lose. If the Zerg makes 0 mistakes, loses no drones at the beginning - and Clem slipps up several times. Wow.
Wait, pros at the very top have to play almost perfectly to win?! Ya, that’s literally every competitive scene. Serral dominated for years and Clem has his moment in the sun and Terran now imba?! Serral was dominating pre ghost and liberator nerfs. So Clem doing well is amazing to see.
@@Lq32332 You seem to be unable to understand what I wrote. On the skill level that Clem is playing Terran atm, the Zerg can ONLY win if Terran makes mistakes. If no side makes mistakes, Clems terran always wins because the Terran race trades so much more efficient like Zerg. So in the end - if both play the same - Zerg has used up all its ressoruces while Terran still has stuff. Serral won because he made LESS mistakes than everybody else. Terran is quite well balanced, because Terran is squishy. But with Clems skill level atm, the squishy thing is no longer an issue. Especially befause of the Bane + Infestor nerfs. So we have a Terran race that has 0 weaknesses and excells at everything. In the hands of other Terran players - and yes, that includes Maru, Oliverei, Buyn... - Terran HAS weaknesses. The squishyness of Bio.
I think both players have to depend on the other making mistakes. At least historically, terran needs to do damage with hellion runbys or reapers or banshees or something, and if they don't, the zerg is ahead. Clem's playstyle seemingly works even if he does no damage so I'm not sure how applicable that is in the current meta, but idk if any non-Clem terrans can do what Clem does.

Since EWC Clem lost 7 maps to Reynor and 2 to Oliveira, that all, he is on best mode. 😊
But he's on a positive record against both of them, pretty crushing vs. Oliveira even.
Thanks for visiting Stara Zagora. It was a pleasure to watch you on live. You really did a very nice job as caster. :)
Have u spoken with Serral since he lost 8:0 to Clem? What he has to say about it? Can he improve or Clem is now no.1?
Clem is definitely gonna be the next bonjwa. Im excited for his era of dominance

Few years ago Serral solved skytoss with mass static defence. Is it possible that ghost+liberator combo can be countered by static too?
mass static defence in the lategame has been meta in ZvP and ZvT since WoL
