How Many Species Live in This Urban Pond? (Multi-Species Challenge)

- Today we use a variety of baits to see how many fish and fish species we ca catch out of this small urban pond. We have bread, live bait, and even some artificials.
This type of pond challenge fishing is fun to make! Especially with some of the ponds here in Arizona. Urban fishing is so underrated so this is mainly to show how diverse it can be.
Pond fishing challenges are something I do not really do here on the channel but if you guys like it I will do more!

Awesome vid man, just moved out too phoenix a month ago and been striking out everytime I go out! I've only been up salt river and a couple small ponds in mesa and tempe. Love the vids and hopefully I get some luck sometime soon.
Shoot! My go to for a bite is always sinking a piece of worm, or bread. Usually you can’t go wrong with that. The catfish stock is coming up tho. That will be a good time to break your skunk 🤘🏼🎣

What size hook/ type hook are you using? I've tried multiple time to catch stocked channels in Tucson and can not for the life of me get one! I'm currently using at 2/0 circle with no luck. Lol. Any info would be helpful. Love your videos!!
Try a size 2 J hook instead of the circle hook. Channel catfish have much smaller mouths that flatheads so sometimes a smaller hook will do the trick
Thank you for the advice. I'll try that instead. I am just struggling to catch those little cats. But any bad day fishing beats a good day working!
I use a smaller hook maybe size 4 for this type of fishing. 2/0 should be perfect but yes sometimes you have to use smaller j hooks if the bite is finicky
