How Best to Explore Cappadocia, Turkey 🇹🇷: FionnOnTheRoad Episode 32

Hello Roadies, yes that’s officially your name now! Friends, family and followers alike, I hope you’re ready for another video, and I know you’ve all been anxiously waiting, it’s been over a week since my last upload. But surely this action packed video exploring the world famous Cappadocia will help suppress your appetite for FionnOnTheRoad content, and at over 35 minutes long, IT BETTER DO SOMETHING!
This is an all encompassing episode, as I spent three days in Cappadocia, there is a little something from each day. I start off with an ATV tour of the valleys that the area is so famous for, Cappadocia is vast, if you want to see every valley I’d suggest spending more time than I did, and there are plenty of them to choose from! From here I do a quick hostel tour before grabbing some food at a restaurant nearby, and that concludes my video from one day.
The following day I join with a few hostel friends and we make our way to Derenkuyu, one of the underground cities dug into the rock by people that have escaped to this part of the country during several periods of religious persecution. My new friend Justin and I end up separated from the group, but don’t let that affect our spirits, and set off for Uchisar castle from here. Ending the day at the castle, we try our absolute best to scale the walls ourselves, but ultimately end in failure and resort to buying a ticket. Realistically, we should have done so from the get go, but if we had, we wouldn’t have seen all the caves and houses dug into the rock formations!
STICK AROUND TO THE END IF YOU WANT TO SEE ME GET CHASED BY DOGS!!! (that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it is kind of funny, and not entirely untrue)!

A little something about the quad bike tours, I think they don’t let people off track for security reasons seeing that some roads in Cappadocia are quite tricky, I’m sure you noticed xD

I loved the underground city and the castle caves. Surprising what men can create without pneumatic rock drills an dynamite . The goat cheese looked good 😊.
