This is the problem with people calling characters OP based only on the reveal trailer. Those trailers are specifically showcasing their abilities, they’re supposed to look powerful and badass. But In practice he seems pretty balanced and difficult to use.
People have been doing this for 6 years and still haven't learned lol
They do this every time. Not just in overwatch but also in apex legends. Especially content creators make tons of wids how the new character is op and will make xyz useless and then on release they make vids how bad the new character is. Its been like this for years.
doom, brig, sigma, ball, baptise etc do I need to continue? this happand a lot in ow1 where heroes where broken in start.
@@You_are_wrong99 I'm not saying no characters have ever been OP when they released, I'm saying we shouldn't make that call based on trailers where they're intentionally made to look powerful. Brig was OP on release but if you thought she would be OP only based on her character reveal trailer, I still think it would've been a coincidence.
I could go and make a 60 second long ability trailer for Bastion that makes him look ridiculously OP, but it's just not how it actually is in game.
no... ranged pierce is still OP the problem is just the numbers
lucio and kiriko will stay the best support duo for this tank as well :”3
They will stay the best supports against him too. He will never catch either of them lol.
Am I the only one who actually didn't expect him to be extremely overpowered in the supposed pursuit of money by blizzard? He looks pretty balanced or maybe even not very strong rn actually.
I'm watching this going.... he looks bad. The utility is cool, but you really need to combo all of this stuff and I feel like at lower ranks, it's better off just having Sigma
A few people like SVB and Chro have said he doesn’t look overpowered too. People are just dumb and jump to conclusions.
His ult seems insane. Like an instant “I win” button on some of the smaller king of the hill type maps.
Looks weak
@@talhaahmed2130 Dude it does like no dmg at all.
His normal attack seems quite similar to Orisa's, except it's a staff spewing pellets instead of a gun
It seems more similar to the ice spray, because you need to predict the enemies movement to actually hit, instead of being a hitscan
@@UrticantOdin Ice spray is short range and orisa requires a slight lead to her shots...
@@UrticantOdin orisa isn’t hitscan, she has projectiles where you have to predict movement. Probably somewhqt faster projectiles than Ramattras though
He feels a lot like Sigma with a shorter effective range, and situationally effective at long range. It's the mid range where he will really struggle. I really like how he's been balanced.
Imagine his punch with Kiriko’s ultimate *”MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA”*
ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!
Lol mada mada is usually "no way" or you mean useless with muda muda xD
*DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARA*
Mada means not yet
Muda^ means useless,
*DEMPSEEEYYYY ROOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL*
I feel like Lucio is going to be an absolute must with this hero to get any significant kind of value until his ultimate
The problem is Lucio is probably the hero that is hit the hardest by vortex. My prediction is that bap and Mei will be better at enabling ramattra than Lucio
Let's be honest, Lucio is a must pick with most tanks in this game
Kiriko and Lucio aren't going anywhere without some major change ups. Suzu will be necessary to protect Ram's ult, along with speed boost because he has literally no movement. Also sound barrier and speed kind of shuts down enemy Ram's ult, when either your team can tank it and kill him, or just run away for a few seconds.
Also Vortex will stop Lucio's wall ride, but with speed up he will still get out of it pretty quick, while Kiriko will just poof to a teammate.
@@yozao5736 Lucio doesn't get out of vortex fast enough without apm and forcing apm or making him hold apm makes Lucio very sad. The team slow of vortext is be enough to counter the team speeds of base speed boost. All of this together gives bap plus kiriko a bit of an edge on Lucio kiriko. Add in a Mei for additional slow and los denial you could have a really strong counter rush poke hybrid. Will it work like that, maybe not. But ram plus Lucio isn't the play.
Depends on how hard hitting the Lucio nerfs are
I think Ramattra has potential on certain maps where you don't have time to switch tanks between checkpoints. Hopefully he is balanced properly for this though.
You can always switch with the 30% ult charge passive
@@fuscello yes, but sometimes you don't die and being able to change playstyles could be the difference between a fight.
@@CadeCraze youre making his nemesis form seem way more special than it actually is
His lack of movement is definitely a big weakness, basically requiring a pocket Kiriko and a Lucio to taxi him around. Maybe then he will just be extremely hard to kill and be able to hold a point or choke pretty easily. Shifting to punch mode and pseudo healing yourself with a fat chunk of armor honestly seems like one of the better parts of how the kit works IMO.
watching flats video on him...he almost seems like he will be a quick play only tank like doom,jQ/partially hammond.
I really hope blizzard takes a look at the entire tank role and properly balances the weaker tanks that don't work in 5v5.
Rammatra might be a beast with lucio but he almost seems like he will be a dead tank slot without some light buffs.
I feel like Rammatra was made for overwatch 1, like by himself he would be horrible, however if he was paired with another tank he would be a monster, like imagine current Orissa and him together, her fortify and javelin spin controlling the enemy, his vortex slowing them so she can hit with her Javalin, plus if he throw his vortex at her when she ults and pulled people in, they would not be able to leave her damage zone as quickly and would allow her to charge up more to do more damage
in overwatch 1 both of them would be significantly weaker individually
@@yimpyoi9808 I know that’s why I said current Orisa paired with him, that would be a pretty good match
Your guides have helped me a lot especially with the Ana guide. Since then I was able to use her kit better than before. Thank you for making guides like this one!
We need more videos like this. I'd say do one for every character, going through their abilities and explaining when best to use or combo them. There are a lot of new players around that don't know the heroes as well as some us, and I'd believe it would bring more views as well ;)
Looks very balanced. Probably a good policy for new heroes to have them come in a little under tuned and crank it up if needed.
Having characters come in underpowered is usually bad for the characters popularity
Don't think it was intended for him to look this bad. Kiriko, Junker Queen, and Sojourn were all very good on launch. I think they thought what all the plat players who saw his gameplay trailer thought.
@@ssghostleviathan9820 But it's good for the games health. If they keep introducing broken heroes itll get annoying real fast.
@@vael_ you'd be surprised. As someone that has played LOL and Smite for years, the characters that release bad or underpowered never really recover. It takes years for that first impression to be broken. As an example, in smite Baba Yaga released so trash and buggy. And then almost 3 years later she is still basically never player even though all the pros rank her decently high. That initial release murdered her character.
@@ssghostleviathan9820 Overwatch has had hero launches like that as well... Though I suppose those gripes about never recovering aren't quite relevant if it didn't even cross your mind.
I feel like he will be very good on defence against rush comps, you play like a sigma or orisa 1.0 poking them down with damage, but when you find the opportunity (or have no other choice) you can become a good brawler
For me I feel like the shield should be a little longer
Me too, especially for that long cooldown.
Yeah it feels like a very short duration for the length of the cooldown. Also, it's actually pretty small.
Should be like Winston's if not longer
You guys really love shooting at shields huh
@@thelabs7128 you are looking at it the wrong way. It's not about shooting it, it's about useing it
Really solid tips and breakdown, thank you!
I think if he needs changes it should be to make him like orisa in the sense of keeping constant up time with cooldowns maybe so allowing more connection between abilities with lower cooldowns.
That would make him too spammy
Really good introduction to the new tank. He seems like he's going to want to be hyper aggressive, I love that in a world with Kiriko ultimate!
as a Pharah main (in QP) i still feel safe in the skies.
Pharah is gonna dunk on Ramattra. He literally can't do anything but spray his staff at you from a mile away lol.
Honestly? I feel like Echo might dunk on him even harder.
Imagine eating his supports then duplicating his ult from behind with no stuns or cc to stop you from literally running their entire team over.
He seems like he was supposed to be a bit of an answer for ranged hitscan and air carries, but he might actually wind up being an active detriment if he can't run over your team's front line immediately.
I like the direction they are taking with new tanks. Less hp and shields, more utility and damage. Makes them much more fun to play imo.
I love how you give us the tools to make our own conclusions.
The point of the primary fire is to be projectile spam. You're not SUPPOSED to constantly confirm hits and kills.
It's like Sojourn's primary fire. You just send it down range and it'll hit whatever is in the general area. It's actually insanely strong given that he's a tank.
not it isnt. look at orisas gun for example.
@@TheShaheem123 orisas gun is good tho
@@PhenomRom yea but its not insanley strong. This dude is saying that rammatras primary fire is "insanley strong" which is just completly wrong
@@TheShaheem123 ohhh I misread lol.
@@TheShaheem123 The only people thinking his primary fire is strong are Overestimating their tracking ability and play in a rank where people move like bots. lol.
He feels great to me, idk if he just fits my play style well but he feels super smooth and natural, I feel like the video oversated how hard his primary is to land, especially when a lot of his kills are coming from pummel in fights.
Thanks for this it shows me what im getting into and how i should play the character
That cold is sounding better since last video!
Something that wasn't mentioned was how his ult requires line of sight, so brig can just hold her shield at you and save herself, rein holding you back from the team can stop it too if you're unable to get in the middle of it. With a 3 second duration and a single sleep dart you can kinda kiss that ult goodbye more than most.
I wish he could punch actually with his fist or the melee would do more damage as a passive in that mode so he can brawl more.
Honestly after seeing this I'm WAY less worried about him than I was. Looks like people will probably play him similar to a Sigma with a dash of Doom
Agreed he looks like a worse Sigma, with Doom's awful block instead of grasp. His shield and his ult are worse than Sigma's. And he only has poke damage compared to Sig's rock combo for solo pick potential. Lastly Sigma can poke around corners for free to put a cherry on top.
Honestly? Seems like a worse Sigma but with a way better ult.
Aka, Echo's wet dream to see on the enemy team lol
@@sylvrwolflol Sigma's ult is one of the best in the game. It has CC, does a ton of burst damage, and executes anyone under 50%. Also you can fly while using it.
Ramattra just tickles everyone in a 20m radius, and It can be blocked by shields.
Completely agree with both of you. So long as I steer clear of that snare my life should not change much I'd imagine.
@@yozao5736 That's all true. But, Sigma's ult is also situational on cc, leaves him wide open, and leaves his enemies plenty of time to either stun him out of it or heal through it.
Also, I'm coming at this from a different perspective here-
It's good for a tank, but as an Echo you want something different out of a duped ult.
Typically you want something that has a lot of damage and gives you sustain so you can finish out a fight without using any more resources, and turning into essentially Reinhardt but he automatically Moira drains everyone around him is crack. Not to mention the animation on Sigma ult is so long that you might not even get it off before dupe timer is up lol
TL;DR- Never said Sigma's bad, I said he's a way less appetizing target lol
his kit is interesting! i love how the primary fire can be used for poking. i’m assuming the short shield duration is to protect teammates from large bursts of damage. this could be huge.
Nice breakdown of everything. The only other aspect of the character I would like to see however is how the nanites look from the recieving end, they look like it might be quite hard to make out where they're actually coming from.
I thought you were going to be able to switch from "tank" to normal mode more freely(toggle style). Didn't know it was going to have a duration type effect and cooldown. Interesting. Hoping for the best.
He will be quite strong in buildings and small rooms as there really is no way to avoid him.
My first impression is he looks like OW 1 Doomfist, where he’ll be useful for a couple of minutes untill he exhausts his cooldowns
Imo Ramattra seems like he fots the role of a tank counter pretty well. With a weapon that does tons of damage if you can hit, a ability that stops dive tanks, anti barrier, the whole kit to piss of the other tank.
Orisa's aim style finally comes in handy 😤 all 6 orisa mains are punching the air rn
That was quick!
What's the code for that custom training ground?
DRSDD
I really like his ability to have flexible blocking.
It sucks because the morning time is when I play so when all the OverWatch updates come out it's always in the afternoon and I'm working and I go to bed after that so it's a little bit of a pain in the ass but I'm still excited about this guy
i think people were overestimating his abilities, he will be very tuff to get value with if you dont have a team with mics
Ramattra + Mei is going to be crazy
Push needs to be changed to smaller maps and two rounds with a time limit on each round where a team gets a point for pushing the robot all the way or having the furthest distance pushed at the end of the timer or overtime. If I'm picking between 2cp or push I would just quit the game but rn I'm hoping to get a payload map every game instead of losing push games to complete bull
His kit looks super satisfying once you get the flow down with him, I really feel like he will bring a new twist to the game, so excited 🤩💜✨ zenyatta and ramattra Will for sure be a dynamic ult combo!! It’s giving Yin & Yang.
:3
Definitely a team player who I've noticed works really well with in your face dps but kinda falls apart with sniper dps atm
I'm curious how potent a nano boosted ult from him would be. Would still want a Lucio to make sure you can keep up with enemies though.
Just play Kiriko and give him fox rush with Suzu to cleanse any CC. Also not sure if nano would boost the Annihilation damage, I haven't seen anyone test it.
@@yozao5736 exactly why I'm curious.
At this point, I have to wonder: How worth it is it to actually try to close?
My immediate impression was that he is a tank version of brig. At least how she was at the end of ow1. Both characters have a bunch of affordances that suggest they want to get in your face, aggressively, and brawl it out. However, brig was played best defensively. She wanted to slow the fight down and punish the things that want to get in close and finish fights quickly.
I think maybe Ramattra will end up like that. A slower, methodical tank, that denies space by being very difficult to push into.
I think you're right. I think he will become more of a bunker/area denial tank that's extremely hard to get off a point or out of a choke once he can set anchor. Especially with a Kiriko keeping him cleansed.
thing is, what makes him difficult to push into? he shoots peanuts are they look very hard/inconsistent to aim. A 4s shield? his nemesis form?
Question: Should Junker Queen use her shout when she ults? Similar to Orisa and Rematra using their shift abilities when ulting.
I feel like that be a decent buff for her
She needs something. That would help a bit.
very interesting way to buff her, personal shout when using ult, maybe even her axe abilty too.
A personal shout for her ult would be perfect considering she dives behind the enemy. It feels awful when Lucio not only counters your ult but now you’re alone and dead behind the enemy team.
Would be a nice buff but the Ult is the part of her kit that works great today. It's the rest that feels lacking. I think she either needs to get a bit more damage back or a bit more health
You can shout after you ult in case you landed somewhere stupid
I feel like he’s one of the most balanced hero’s at release. He feels great but doesn’t feel broken
Yo Freedo (or anyone else)! Could you share the workshop code for this training range? I've never seen it & I've been playing since 2016...
Would love to have it!
DRSDD
His ult can be cancel just by using Winston Shield.
A good jump on top and Shield drop . It's over
Does the Snare force Zenyatta to sit on the ground?
I think he just completely overshadows Sigma. Sigma will have his place on maps like circuit still because of the more reliable shield and of course, his ult is likely to be more fight winning, but Ramattra can play any gamemode, any map and fit more comp styles.
His ult doesn't go through shields so its easy to play around
That ult seems insane
From what I've been playing rn rammy is incredibly fun and gets a lot of value as long as he has a pocket. His survivability is very fragile rn
Maybe a slightly bigger punch hitox, and I'd say give the nemesis block more reasons to use it. I like his staff , it's very tricky to hitpeople consistently. Maybe one or half a second more on his shield would be nice too.
Overall, although there are a lot of frustrating moments, the fun still overpowers it
(AND AGAIN, MY OPINION AND EXPERIENCE TY
The vortex verticality is small and it does not block movement ability also itd not like you can easily aim at a distant ground all the time because your view is flat horizontal and you need to be contesting below...
Is it weird to think he'd probably be really fun on Hanamora? Especially now that 5v5 is a thing?
This was helpful
The Battlepass sings to meeeee!!!
Sigma🤣
Anybody else hoping they speed up the staff projectile speed and maybe tone down the headshot multiplier? I feel like no falloff isn't enough to differentiate his staff from Orisa piledriver
Also shields can block the Ult (Winston, Sigma, Rein, Brig)
does the bridgette have to be like fulling facing him? cuz her sheild doesnt really cover her side like Rein's kinda does
@@Willz828 yeah, works exactly like Reinhardt
Is it weird to think he'd be really fun on Hanamora? Especially now that 5v5 is a thing?
I feel like a lot of the time Ramattra's ult not going through any form of shield makes it really easy to counter
I'm liking Ramattra at the moment. He feels like he can play similar to Reinhardt in that he creates this huge "don't stay anywhere near me" zone around him when he transforms and has a strong brawl-style game. But Rein's biggest weaknesses are when he struggles to close the gap and when he's against long range, whereas Ram has a stronger neutral in those cases with his long-range nanites and ability to place a shield anywhere ahead of him. Ramattra has clear counters and drawbacks, and doesn't get value easy, but if you're good with positioning, game-sense, and have the patience to wait for your openings he can be really fun to play.
The problem is that most of the broken heroes has their entire gimmick of dealing tons of damage nowhere near him
hey freedo, did you catch a cold or do you have a new microphone? ^^
0:47 “And it’s gonna get even worse if you’re trying to do with with a POCKET”
MERCY appears out of NOWHERE. Editing on point my friend
The custom mode he's using for the practice range with the orbs allows you to turn on the pocket merci
it's not good editing, he is using a workshop practice range with many options.
To clarify- I like how the script coincided with the footage. The timing on the edit was solid.
Vertical range seems very low? Find it hard to see most good pharahs being pulled down from the height they would normally fly at but maybe that's just me thinkin
Pharah will dunk on Ramattra. Even if you get grounded which honestly should be pretty rare, you can concussion people away from you just as easily as using it to move yourself.
Looks really interesting . But is it worth a long time, very average player like me paying for?
This hero is really fun, he feels super unique and is incredibly fun to play. I feel like that tempo description that gave was really true, using barrier and Nemesis and Balancing those cooldowns so you can keep making space and protecting your team.
Kinda look more balanced that expected, but we still haven't seen it in real match or with out of the box creativity in action.
You and SVB had this locked and loaded
My biggest issue off the bat is that his weapon is so obtrusive. Seems like the whole right side of the screen is covered
The grounding part of the AE is going to be best probably against Echo who relies on getting in close to use her finisher beam, or on a Mercy who is zipping between team mates, or a Lucio who is trying to dance on the payload. Sadly, Mercy is ALREADY not a great support option, end even Echo doesn't get as much play as she once did. That leaves the grounding part of his kit as mostly a Lucio counter, a bit for Gengi (who will just dash out of it), and probably almost impossible to hit on Phara most of the time, because it's not a huge AE and if she's any distance out it's probably almost impossible to both judge where on the ground is exactly under her, let alone hit that spot with a projectile while also predicting her movement. So yeah...
From what I can see so far I think his cooldowns are probably too long for abilities with durations that are too short, but we'll see how people learn to play him in the coming weeks. Maybe he'll be excellent hugging cover and playing for windows of peaking/engaging.
I wonder how effective it will be vs an ulting phara, might be funny if it just slams her into the ground and she takes herself out with splash damage.
Some minor and major buffs I’d like to see
1.his primary could be increased to 6 damage per bullet and head shot to 10
2.his suck should disable all movement abilities of opponents in it like sigma flux but you can still walk out of it like normal
3.his suck has infinite height
4.primary fire in nemesis mode should have 50% more range (it only lasts like 6-8 seconds it’s needs to be powerful but not op)
5.primary fire In nemesis form should be 20-30% wider
He looks ALOT harder to play than we initially thought
I never not wanted to play a hero more
Seems kinda hard to use honestly. Difficult to hit his primary fire and anti-air ability, shield goes away fast, nemesis form useless at long range.
Sounds like snare might be good for genji then esp. when he’s ulting. Does it stop his dash?
Hey Freedo any chance I can get that workshop code you're using. I have the old PMA Jellies one but it doesn't have any of the new heroes :(
Rammatra's Vortex height needs to me a little taller imo. There've been too many times where I've landed it in the perfect position, but Phar-Mercy are flying so high that it's useless. Aside from that, he's the most fun Tank I've played so far.
This dude plays at the highest sens ever
He needs to train again with Zenyatta
if they make a support tank hybrid again id like to see me absorbing dmg instead of my teammates kinda like the terraria paladin's shield but this is blizard we are talking about
Sounds like a good second tank for open q
I blocked a Hammond ult AND Hanzo ult at the same time, and I still had a good amount of hp left.
if the shield ability's purpose is to deny and not to protect, i think it should be a support's ability. right now i think he's not really good (as a tank), or at least just balanced.
Shields are meant to create space from your team to push in. It's not meant to be used defensively
Do you think his primary is comparable to sojourns projectile?
I have a patch note concept for Ramattra that completely changes the character, with the TRUE idea of the meaning, Tempo tank, two completely different play-styles. Any questions or recommendations, I'm open to comments...
Void Accelerator:
Damage goes from 4.5 to 8
Cannot critical
Ammo: 60
Reload speed increased from 1 second to 2.2 seconds
Void Barrier:
Allow a toggle placement option similar to Mei's wall
Duration goes from 4 to 5.5 seconds
Cooldown is 9 seconds if broken, if the duration is depleted, the cooldown is 15 seconds
Nemesis Form:
0.6 seconds of transformation time between in and out of Omnic and Nemesis form
Heals 8% of health and grants 120 armor instead of 150 armor. 150 armor will be granted if Ramattra has full health.
1.5 seconds of initial +48% movement speed on cast of the abiility
Pummel:
Projectile damage goes from 60 to 50
"Melee range" or melee damage deals 90 damage
Block:
Movement speed goes from -50% to -30%
Can block stuns and projectiles
90% damage reduction from the front and cannot be stunned, booped, or slept (Also make it so Doomfist cannot be slept or stunned while blocking please)
Back opens a critical spot covering a large portion of Ramattra's back similar to Bastion that takes 1.5x more damage
(Getting second thoughts about this part of the block...)
Ravenous Vortex:
Removed from the game and replaced by new abilities, Higher Authority, and Better Future
Better Future: (Omnic form only)
-A new ability that allows Ramattra to stab his Void Accelerator into the ground giving his allies a cooldown reduction while giving himself increased movement speed.
Radius of 8 meters
Duration of movement speed is 5 seconds
Cooldown is 18 seconds and starts when the ability is active
Ally cooldown is reduced by 80% (normal is 100%) and has no cooldown, a one-and-done ability. Effects wear off only for that ability meaning if one ability is gained but another one hasn't, the effects only apply to the ability on cooldown. Also has no effect on ultimate.
Higher Authority: (Nemesis form only)
-A new ability that allows Ramattra to hover in the air and slam the ground creating a nano-infested area that traps enemies in the field unless they destroy an orb left on the ground that Ramattra slammed into the ground.
Can only be used once in Nemesis form. There is no cooldown and is regained when transformed into Nemesis form again. (Nano-infested area will not appear during Annihilation)
Hover duration is 2 seconds and lifts Ramattra 9 meters in the air
Slam distance is 6 meters closest range and 11 meters at the furthest range.
Slam deals 74 damage with a damaging radius of 3 meters but 30% damage increase to Tanks, can be blocked with barriers.
Nano-infested area is a 14-meter radius and 11 meters in height (might have to be lowered) that enemies cannot get out of unless the orb on the ground is destroyed.
Nano-infested area deals no damage
Nano-infested area applies a debuff that gives all enemies trapped inside -32% firerate and -17% movement speed
Orb has 35hp and is a 1.5 meter orb on the ground
Annihilation:
-During Omnic Form:
Launch a projectile out of staff that can be leeched onto an enemy, and has the same damaging effects. In other words, this might start another pandemic...
Projectile travel speed of 38 meters a second
If attached to an enemy:
Duration is infinite and lasts as long as that enemy is alive. (Protection Suzu can cure the effect, but the projectile will drop to the ground)
Deals 22 damage a second to attached target, and 37 damage a second to enemies around that target
Radius of 8.5 meters
If attached to a surface: (Or detached by Protection Suzu)
Deals 25 damage per second
Radius of 12 meters
Duration of 11 seconds
-During Nemesis form:
Same effect as original
Radius increased from 11 meters to 12.5 meters
On cast, the duration will not go down until at least one enemy has been damaged by the ultimate
Now has a counter on the screen on how many enemies are within the radius
If at least three enemies come into the radius, all enemies within are slowed by -30%
All other damage that Ramattra deals aside from his ultimate is decreased by 8%
Side Notes:
Nano-boost doesn't affect ultimate damage,
Block cannot eat projectiles, just absorb the damage like any other shield
Thank you if you read through all of it, I would make one of these for every hero if I had the time, I missed an essay because of this...
Has anyone tested the grounding effect on top of say a mei ice wall?
I imagine they nerfed him before pushing him out, it doesnt feel like what we saw in the showcase vid
Does his ult also restore your health when taking damage? You didn't show that.
has those training room features always been in the game?
It's a custom game mode. You can find it pretty easily by just searching for training room.
He seems underwhelming except for his ult. Which is a nice change of pace considering other tanks are broken AF atm
How do you think he will handle dive tanks like Winston and dva?
Shields block his ult, as does a mei wall... in fact I think Mei will just hard counter him period. Walling him out will be super strong. This tank looks F tier but the problem with his kit is he can basically only be F or S, depending on the numbers. I don't see him ever being middle of the pack.
I love heroes with lots of abilities, so I'm looking forward to this. 👍👍
What’s the difference between aoe of sojourn vs ramattra’s aoe ability not the ult?
Not even out people we have to play the character first could be sleeper pick or get buffs
So basically he needs a buff, I would suggest that he can switch to either form and has no time limit but does have a decent cooldown between his ability to switch, secondly make his block absorb damage similar to doomfists block to make his big arm punches shoot further
For his regular form, make his shield stay longer or reduce the cooldown and let him rotate it
Lastly increase the ceiling of his vortex ability, and make it that people can not use movement abilities while inside it
Ah yes just make his abilities easier to get value out of
@@bloodangel7731 pretty much, cause right now his abilities suck and you get little value out of them, plus there are better characters for his roles, sigma is a better poker than Rammatra, hog Orisa, rein and doomfist are better brawlers than him, therefore his abilities need to compensate
How long we thinking before the ult gets a rework?
I figured he wasn't as overpowered as people think. Most of his power comes from his ult. Because with healing in the game, he doesn't one shot anything. Looks like he is good against a slow rein comp and maps like kings row attack. Not much of a defense tank. It will be interesting to see who he synergies with.
I said this in the intro videos he can easily be flanked and dived on. He reminds me of when sig got first released, will wait n see what the high level players play him and see what he benefits best doing in the tempo of a fight.
Mei and bap are his strongest synergies. Mei wall and lamp cover his biggest weakness and his ability to pull Lucio to the ground covers theirs
I don't think he'll be good against Rein. I think he was designed to feel threatening against a shield comp with his ability to punch through them, but Rein is just going to pin him if he's close enough to land punches. I think Sigma will Rock him when he tries to get in close (does Ramatra's power block stop Rock or other CC? I'm pretty sure they said that CC was one of Ram's weaknesses in his Nemesis form, so probably not).
I hate to say it, but I don't think he's going to be very good and doesn't really feel like he has an area where he excels. Blizzards wants him to be some kind of transforming tank that has a form for different moment to moment needs, but I don't think Nemesis form lasts long enough or is scary enough to compete with tanks that just hold space better.
