Can you tell us about the maintainment and repair costs? Can I repair it buying parts on a hardware store? How long distance can I walk on each ground pad and pair of shoe pads? Or how many steps they withstand before start to breakup?
Omni One is assembled from just a few modular parts (base, arm, vest) that can easily be replaced. If any of these fail, you can purchase a replacement from our website and swap it out - no tools needed. There isn't a set lifespan for the footwear, as how much wear they experience will vary depending on the user, but they only need to be replaced infrequently.
I forgot. Did they ever program side strafing into the Omni? Last time I tested one you could not run sideways/side strafe in a game while using the Omni.
are the omnis in the arena the same design as the ones designed for homes or do they have the circle around the person and also is the circle version not safer for running and tripping then the latter ? thanks in advance for your attention
Omni Pro is used in the Omni Arena attraction. It has the circular support around the user's waist, which is more restrictive, but supports heavier players. Omni One has a flexible support arm, which nevertheless prevents the player from falling off the platform.
So I’m extremely excited for this but I have two big concerns, One it being so easy to assemble without tools does that mean it is just as easy for it to fall apart if you’re going full sprint? And two the weight limit for the harness itself, some gamers come in some hefty sizes after all
Sprinting does not put significantly more strain on the device, as you are not generating any momentum, as your feet slide back on the base. The parts lock into place so they won't come apart during use. There is no weight limit for the vest, though there is one for using the device - 250lbs (113kg).
@@VirtuixOmni 250 pounds is kind of a disappointment. Most athletic or fat people over 6 feet are at minimum 200+. Does the omni pro have a higher weight limit?
We are offering the option of purchasing a dev kit (i.e. without a headset) when it becomes available, through our investment program. We don't plan to offer this option for general sales.
@@crashdude7589 Ya I have to agree with this. The quest 3 coming out is suspected of having better specs than the pico it's being shipped with. I understand that the machine is build to be directly compatible with the pico, and out of the box functionality is critical for user satisfaction early on, but to not even PLAN on having the option for general sales is disappointing.
The player doesn't seem to be able to run, it should be a vest, which would also vibrate when hit and the mechanical arm should be "pineumatic or hydraulic" so that when he jumps, the jump would be higher and he would only touch the ground when the avatar touched it. on the floor too.

This would be sick for Vrchat

You can side strafe, and run sideways.

How much does it help for motion sickness of VR?
Motion sickness reduction is one of the benefits, as you are navigating more naturally with your legs.

Will it be purchasable without the included headset?

If you don't have the option to purchase just the treadmill then you are missing sales to people that already purchased expensive headsets
@AJ Falcone I agree, most people are going to be upgrading from their current setup not starting VR with the omni one

@Daniel Kipp yep, the one being shipped is the old pico 3, it's not even the nes pico 4
Does the Omni One work with SteamVR?
We will have emulation software for SteamVR.
I'll have this one day 🙁
Sempurna 🎉
Gaming is going to truly become a sport with this. Pro gamers are actually going to have to workout in order to be competitive…
Nice!
I can’t wait till this hits market so I can pay monthly for one!! How much is the minimum I have to invest in to get mine early? 😍❤️🔥
The minimum investment amount is $1,001.42 USD
I will only buy it if I get to try it in a store first.

"Makes it feel real".
Makes me feel winded and need to sit down. Kinda what I ain't looking for in a game lol.
Yeah im lazy
Deve ficar melhor de se jogar usando somente meias nos pés
How come the military hasn't contacted you yet for a contract?
We receive many commercial inquiries, but Omni One is a consumer device.
