Good luck with the rabbit hole that is Fuso Canter adventure camper building. Like me, you'll find it fun, rewarding, brain-exercising, frustrating, bank balance draining, more rewarding...

Thanks! Yes, we’ve found it’s all those things so far! The process is important, but we’re also so excited to adventure in it. Cheers!

... cool that you are reading 07 fuso codes on your phone! But... how?

We use this cool little reader that pairs with our phones. It has worked with our Sprinter, F-150, Subaru, and now the Fuso! The first Fuso we tested had a number of codes that this pulled(and cleared!) amzn.to/3mxmSuR

I'm looking at a Japanese Fire Truck right now that I want to turn into a camper...It's an old 1991 Mitsubishi Canter with a 4D33 diesel engine
I'd buy it today but I just don't know if it has enough horse power to haul 2500 pounds or if it can even reach highway speeds?. I know they Toyota HiAce & Nissan trucks are grossly under powered

That is an older model- I have heard the older ones have less power. Ours certainly is not a fast truck- it will go 65-70 mph on the flats, but the uphills can be slow!

Where did you get box from or who manufactures it,please?

The box actually came with the truck. It's made by ProTech. While we'll need to take it off and sell it when we put our camper box on it this summer, it's served us so well this winter storing our recovery gear and skis!
