I've used popping corks religiously for years! But learning the differences on this video will only help me to land more fish. The 1st one you showed is my fav to use in most conditions and I periodically change what is underneath. Very informative!

Targeting specific levels of the water. Depending on many conditions the fish could be more active. Those corks imitate natural sounds that attract fish vs you just covering water with a lure. Really depends on where and what you're going for. That's my understanding of it.

Try going to a local flea market for some fishing stuff sometimes you can find stuff brand new and still cheaper than in a store
