Hi Kyuji man, long time arcane mage here too. I have a question for you. Do you ever find that when you're in double timewarp, it seems as though the damage from your arcane blast doesn't go through? Its almost like its too fast for the game or something. I've tried it many times, and the damage numbers just do not appear on the screen during many casts when in double timewarp. I am also not sure if it is processed through details either.
Hey! This is a known problem that you have if you have too much haste. If you for example are getting pi and using double BL, the cooldown of your arcane blast becomes shorter than your global cooldown. This is now bad as normally you can cast two arcane blasts in a row with 0 downtime (as the global cooldown is ready when your first arcane blast cast is over, so it triggers parallel to the start of your second cast), but with haste overcap the gcd is not ready, so at the end of your first blast cast -> there is the difference in time between the gcd and the blast cooldown (so like 0.1s), and then a full gcd is triggered (which is pretty fast but this slows your damage output greatly), and only after you can start casting your second blast. So yeah with pi just don t double bl in ST, or maybe check your gear a bit as you're suppose to run low haste (on dgs that I get pi, I play with 13.4% haste)
@@KyujiQG Is there any reason why this would be happening to me without PI? I have double timewarp and gear with around 16% haste, but I swear half of the tmie the damage from the ABs dont go through
Also... I see here that you're going Radiant Spark > Arcane Surge > Blast Blast Blast etc etc etc Is hitting surge after spark best now? I thought the burn opener was Spark > Orb/Blast > Blast > Blast > Surge > Barrage
Inspired me to play Arcane mage, love the class! Keep going out there :D
Tks for the love!
