    Where is the spindle cable video.

    Do you have any guidance on how to correctly wire up the spindle-to-VFD cable, including the earth and shielding, please? In this video, you jump at 5:57 from no plugs on the spindle cable, to 18:00 with the plugs attached...

    Great video, looking forward to the XPRO5 queen bee electrical setup video soon. What diameter cable braid and cable sleeves did you use? Thanks

    Beautiful clean work. Bulkman gave you the opportunity to build this CNC and they got it spot on. You are definitely the right person with the meticulous instruction and care taken to do the job. I will be using your tuition for my build. Thanks for sharing this build with all of us. Sub'd.

    Hello! Watching your tutorials like gospel 👍. Your voice instructions in the video says to connect the homing switches on the 'C' and 'NC' terminals however the video shows you are connecting to the 'C' and 'NO' terminals? Just want to clarify which terminal is correct? Thanks and keep up the great contents! From Australia.

    Totally confused on the switches. Are they end stops or are they homing switches? What's the difference? I see a lot of machines that have the x mounted on the left and the y mounted on the front left.

    • @martinem78
      @martinem78 2 роки тому

      I am with you on the confusion... what follows are my thoughts out loud. Seems logical that machine 0,0 should be front left corner as you will never have to deal with negative numbers when thinking about work holding and where the spindle is in relation to the spoil board. It follows then, that placing the switches on the front left for Y and far left for X would yield at least homing in that direction. Then we could setup "soft limits" based on actual machine dimensions in GRBL (or whatever you are using for machine control).
      The switch cable for the Y-axis in my kit is very short and I only have three switches in total... That sort of dictates where I place the controller, VFD, etc. I did not give this any thought when building my table and where I placed the machine in my garage. The most convenient place for my setup will be to place the controller and electronics is on the right rear side of the machine. Therefore, I am contemplating using the right rear and far right side as my machine 0,0. I will see if the mental gymnastics is too much to over come before I either buy more switches or physically move the whole thing 180 degrees.

      I will be doing a video shortly to show setting these up. I use them as homing switches. Position can be whereever you like as it's just for the machine to reference. We then tell the machine that when you hit home your actually at a specific position. This allows you to have the switches right out of the way.

    @18:06 you say to check out the other videos for how to solder the spindle cable, but I don't see it referenced in the show description nor in the 10 Queenbee PRO CNC list.

    Hi guys, I have two insights for you from the construction of my CNC 1010 QueenBee PRO machine. 1) - one C-Beam 100cm aluminum profile is slightly bent and twisted into a propeller. It had to be from the factory, because the packages were delivered without damage. I'm working with the seller. I'll let you know how it turned out. 2) - Two balls are missing in two Linear Slide Block Carriage For HGR15. Everywhere else there is a gap of only one ball. Always on the side where the wiper blade is and is very difficult to see. I don't know if I will deal with the seller. Maybe I'll order one new piece and add balls. I recommend checking before mounting. I discovered this when I stripped HGR 15 of preservative oil and lubricated it with lithium white grease.

    Hello, did you get the cnc Xpro V5 with 1.5kw or 2.2 kw 110V spindle? Also did you connected your cnc to the outlet behind it or you had to connect it to its own circuit breaker?

    Hi, what kind of spindle do you use? I estimate it's water cooled by 2.2 kW.

    • @blackwidow067
      @blackwidow067 3 роки тому

      According to the socket, I see that you are not from GB, but from the USA. Does this mean that the spindle is 2.2 kW-110v? I decide between 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW-220v.

    • @IllDoItMyself
      @IllDoItMyself  2 роки тому +1

      I'm currently in Canada so yes similar to the US. I do run on 110v but it would be much better to run a 220 if you have access which won't won't a problem in GB.

    • @IllDoItMyself
      @IllDoItMyself  2 роки тому +1

      Yes it's the 2.2kw water cooled .
