When you pin point on the 66 you have to move the detector back and forth until you know where the signal is the highest! That is the way it's designed. You can't stop and expect it to keep on making a sound! I like this feature. I can't stand the continuous sound the other one makes!
The Veteran of course i can, every singel detector i have owned has that future. Continious sound? I depends on how long i push in the bottom 😊 I can make it last 0.1sek or for a week
The pinpoint function only works while it's moving. Perhaps strangley, it also doesn't seem to pinpoint in the center of the of the coil. As you move the coil towards the target (side to side), the sound 'increases' until the edge of the coil is over the target. Knowing that line, you can then use the front (or back) edge of the coil to do the same thing (forwards and backwards this time) to form an imaginary cross where those two lines intersect. I hope that's makes sense. It took me a while to figure this out with my GoFind.
Hey, good review. The Go-Find is a pretty trick machine. Yes, its very light (plastic) but it finds targets very very well. You can fold it up and carry with you in your backpack on your bike like some of those people who commented here drive. Or if you're intelligent, its folds nicely in your car. It also shortens up quickly for those times when you need to look under the couch for loose coins Dad dropped while he's sleeping on it. Many reviewers don't do the GF60 justice, because they lose site of the fact that the cool Android / IOs app that comes with it is a HUGE differentiator over FISHER's NUTS. First, that app allows you to pair GF60 with your mobile phone and if you have bluetooth headphones for your phone.... viola, now you have a wireless headphone for your detector. Second, that app records what you find and where on a Google map, then it allows you to share it on social media so all your girlfriends know about your swag! Third, not only can you remotely control your power stick, you can listen to your fav jams from your iTunes while detecting - the app even lowers the music volume when those tones of sweet nectar come chiming in. So right there is the SHIZEN! The Go-Find has just blown away the FISHER and any other sub $250 detector on the market. So you can debate this or that about what these things find and don't find, we're talking about 1940's D.O.D. level technology that all detectors share at the uptake. Nothing much has changed except what you do on the top end - the head unit. And when you consider that, there' no question the GO FI SIX ZERO is the clear winner. Multi Moto - do you even lift bro?
+Lockdown454 I don't listen to music while I detect. I listen to Lockdown454's podcast which bores me into paying more attention to the nuanced details with my detecting.
The minelab is a concentric coil as far as I know, which can give it fractional more depth (on air test) perhaps that's why you seem so surprised by it maybe.
I'm looking to spend $250 for a MD. Was looking at this, a fisher f22, Garrett ace 250 and recently learned of a discovery 3300. Any suggestions, comments, tips would be appreciated gentlemen.
its a jungle :P i just love the fisher, it's easy to understand the setings and i never had any problem with any of mine. But i guess its like buying a car... I love my Fisher F2 and still using it from time to time, but i have never tryed the F22...
just a tip for all , there is zip difference between the 20,40 & 60 ....20 has a smaller coil , 40 has a larger coil and 60 has a larger coil with bluetooth gimmicks ok...apart from that ,they are identical
+barry warznal not correct: the 20 has smaller coil, no pinpoint and no bluetooth. The 40 and 60 have larger coil, pinpointing function and bluetooth, but the 40 has some limitation in his software ( 3 search modes, 3 audio tones and 4 sensibility levels), the 60 4 search modes, 5 sensibility levels and it's sold with earbuds. I guess the hardware is the same but difficult to upgrade the software if you're not an hacker :D
hold you finger on the pin pointer button as you move over the target , that might do the trick m8. not sure as i not have one but just observing . seems like a neat machine. i have the F-75 as well . paid a heap lode for mine. just happened across this new machine today from a post online and thought i would check it out. thanks for the vid. cheers. seems good enough to buy one. and congrats on your win.
Thanks a lot :) F75 is a great (but expensive) detector :) I tryed it all, just wont work for me :/ But i kind of learned how to use the pointer by moving the detector in smal cirkels... Anyway.. Thanks for comment :) Cheers!
THIS TEST IS LIKE COMPARING A LADA WITH A BUGATTI ! THEY BOTH HAVE 4 WHEELS, BRAKES ETC BUY AN EXTERRA WITH A NEL COIL THAT COVERS ALL 3FREQUENCYS WITH ONE COIL! THATS IF YOU LIKE MINELAB.BET YOUR GLAD YOU DIDNT BUY THIS GO FIND OR SHOULD IT BE CALLED GO FIND ANOTHER DETECTOR! JUST MY OPINION THAT MINELAB PRODUCE GREAT DETECTORS,BUT NOT VERY GOOD TOYS. @@digginga-hole9209 Why? Do the comments make your video correct? If you going to make a review video you need to learn the product. Point me to the comments but if you want to make corrections you can add notes to your video admitting your faults.
Michał Majchrowicz A guy from Minelab sent an e-mail about the problems, the pinpointer should not be acting like that, he is going to talk about the video in a meeting and see what the problem with the detector could be =/ maby i just got a bad one =/
Digging A- Hole My pin pointer on mine does the same as well. I watched other videos as well. from my understanding you have to swing it to get the pin pointer to work.. Has me a little confused why. I love the portability with mine as I went hiking over the weekend and took it. Wish Minelab used the same concept but made more options and via new model. Interchangeable coils would be nice. a displayable Numbered VDI would be amazing. and more depth along with Manual Ground Balancing
Josh Dalton But the point is that they add VDI or manual GB it will be not user friendly.... this machine is only starter pack for beginners or spare - emergency, second detector only.
Michał Majchrowicz yes I know its a beginners detector that's why I said I like the concept but would be nice if Minelab would build a upgraded model to add that.. Or even a Application for your phone that has a Numerical VDI
Minelab has gone very cheap made no way they build quality now days old minlabs we're best but they all bout makeing bigbucks and selling cheaper plastic junk lk box 800 gd machine but cheap breaks rods cheap all sux T2 75se type or the way go for any type hunts they build quality
So you're comparing a $1250 metal detector to a $250 one. Why?
Love my go find 60 keeps on surprising me.
To pinpoint on a Go Find you have to move it! NOT hold it still. The Go Find is hands down the winner in all of my tests!
You are absolutely right but to be fair, having a motion pinpoint mode is a bit daft. Might as well not have it at all?
I don’t think people want to have to move it for a pinpoint, fisher better

air testing isn't a fair test. How do they both perform in mineralized ground?

comparing an entry level cheap detector against a top of the line pro model makes this video useless.
if you want cheap, easy to travel with, get the 40. You will have a bit of trouble pinpointing on all the gofinds. But they work well otherwise.

+jimpublictube Hey all the power to you and your go find 60 lol.
Honest review. Thinking of getting one as it is easier to throw on the back of my bike.
Coyote Rider It´s perfect to bring with you, doesn´t take any room at all =) You can easy have it in your backpack =)

I love my go find 40' works great on the beach and fits in my backpack which is ideal as I have no car
ну как прибор ?
nice review and again, congrats on the win! :)
penguin chick Thank you so mutch =)

+ranx65 .......so what are the coil hertz output on each......identical .....like i said above gimmicks out they are identical products
Not really a fair test but what I did get out of it is the Go Find has the same depth as the Fisher. Not saying much for the fisher!
The pinpoint is fine for what it is"
learn to use the 60.... keep it moving, they don't pinpoint when stationary

Strange review!
You are using the pointer function on the GoFind incorrectly. You should learn the machine and use it before you review it at least.

+Alvin Lamb Thank´s man! =)
Все норм ) кому что) После EVRO ACE конечно не тот коленкор. На то он и go fish мне понравился .
That thing is FUGLY
Cheap, and plastic... but target recovery speed is not acceptable. Craap.

Digging A- Hole And me to? I don't think so. I was ready many similiar issues. This is low price toy. And that is an issue.
