I have the go find 66, I never did use the app on it, only used the metal detector itself, far as im concerned it IS more than capable of finding expensive rings and other jewelry, to date ive found EXACTLY 41 different types of jewelry with the go find 66, most them being rings of various types, few necklaces broaches ect. Plus it finds coins very well, fortunately here in australia we are blessed to have the australian $1 and $2 gold coloured coins and we find many of them *EVIL GRIN* :)
I like what i see at the moment it looks a great bit of kit. I will enjoy taking it to work with me. Thanks for stopping by my friend. 👍
Can this find gold
@@doindatstuff3588 Yes as most gold in jewelry already contains various metals so that's why gold jewelry is easily found at beaches. bt if your asking if it can find pure gold nuggets than I'm not sure, experts wld say no, bt I've heard even basic cheaper detectors can pick up gold nuggets. So to be 100 percent sure you should research it more on Google or UA-cam
Bought as I’m on the bones of my arse, sick and unemployed, brand fire new to the exclusive game. Thank you for the review it helped loads.
Your very welcome my friend. Let me know how you get on 👍
I am in the same situation, should not have bought it. It was on offer with a pro find 15 for £229
Didn’t realise it was this old actually, I’ve never detected before, shouldn’t have spent the money on it and it comes tomorrow. Can’t wait!
I've had the go find 40 for a few years, I also have an xtera, but I just keep finding the little 40 in my hand . . It's just so convenent, pop it in the backpack and away you go! Just love the portability, and it's actually decent but of kit. Thanks for sharing you're 66!
I totally agree with the Ian my friend. Thanks for stopping by. Take care and stay safe 👍
Can this find gold
@@doindatstuff3588 Sure, if the gold is big enough 🙂 my Xtera has a "gold finding" coil, but in reality, anything under the size of a 10mm gold nugget is going to be hard to locate with a unit in this class, unless its close, or on the surface. I'm sure there is detectors out there these days that can do better. These machines like coin size items, but sometimes, just sometimes . . You can find items more valuable that gold 😉
I had the go find 60 , unfortunately it got stolen 😢 but I found some great things , lots of coins and a nice ring on the beach and woodlands , I loved how portable & easy to use it was, wanna get back into it soon so researching new detectors.
I'm sorry to hear that, jasper. Best of luck finding your new machine. Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Birthday, Steve 👊🏻😊👍🏻
Thank you buddy 👍
oh glad you gave us demo. my two 11 year olds want one. looks ok what I see. 🙂👍
Its a great detector jamie. Not going to replace my nox but thats not why i got one. Very light and compact. 👍
Great thanks and belated happy birthday from Sunny Australia. Just the review I was looking for I was going to purchase this for my daughters who are the chief diggers at the beach when we go detecting.
It's a great machine for both kids and adults best of luck with it and thanks for stopping by. Stay safe
It’s a great little machine to keep in the boot of the car mine lives in the car, come summertime if your near a beach takes 20 seconds to set it up a quick hour before going home to get the metal detecting fix and your getting gloves and a bag so that’s as good as getting an extra £50 knocked off the price and the 10% discount it’s a win win
Your right there john mate see ya soon buddy 👍
Good thing that may get people into detecting. Nice video again Steve. 👍🏻
Cheers paul mate 👍
You know Steve i always been a fan of the go-finds but i was told never buy one they toys but as this video shows they aint toys at all i would have no issue taking that on any of my perms 😀👌👍...cool review brother and that did look a sweet deal with the bag and gloves 👍👌...have a great new year and fantastic 2020 mate
Hi del brother its far from a toy. And it packs a punch. Take care bro 👍
Nice one Steve happy birthday for yesterday I may have to look at one for a certain person. HH ATB Paul
Cheers paul mate great little detector to be honest. 👍
Happy birthday (is your second name Noel?) Great review ,I know a lady who found over 300 dollars Aus with one of those in a sandy car park near a pub which she keeps reminding me when I use my nox . Best wishes for the new year!
Thank you brian. It sure looks to be a good detector it will not replace my nox but it will be easier to just grab it and go 👍 wishing you a great new year aswell buddy.
Hundred dollars an ounce now I don't see why people wouldn't metal detect especially in Europe the United States is a fairly new country but Europeans I mean I would be metal detecting everywhere in Europe

Hello Steve, I'm writting you from France, I'd like to buy a go find to start detect but can u give me the difference between the 44 and the 66 , need you're advice, thanks a lot , from Dinard , Emeraude cost !!
Hi my advice would be to get the 66 as it has more settings. Not much between them performance wise. But the 66 is better. Thanks for stopping by.
Can this find gold
Yes my friend
Happy birthday and I'm glad to hear your wife is so sweet that was awesome of her God bless you both press I hope you find many Treasures
Thank you my friend i am a lucky man 👍 take care and stay safe.
Can it find gold? Sorry for asking a lot
...,What I meant was gold is $1,600 an ounce now.....
Hello Steve, it's an entery level like you said, and a great idea taking it with you to work just in case, happy birthday for boxing day mate, take care brother ATB Jim TEAM NOX and go find 66 LOL 👍😁🍺🍺
lol cheers jim brother. I love the idea of taking it to work with me. Thanks for the birthday wishes mate. Take care buddy... team nox 👍🍻

Hello, how are you? I hope you are doing well. My name is Mohamed from Morocco. How much is it? How much is it please? It is very beautiful.
Your best bet is to look on Google for a price as I would not know the morroco price. Thanks for stopping by.
great video im in australia and i find everything from crap to gold rings cant fault it cheap and neat will upgrade 1 day but now im happy to use it wife loves using it as she said its easy and tells u what u found thanks again keep adding more trips thanks
I think its strong points are easy to use. Also very light and compact. Not going to compete with a top end machine but your not paying a top end price. So all good 👍
Hi there I'm in QLD thinking of purchasing this machine how's it holding up?
The machine is what it is but think it would be better with a vdi display. My mate bought one but struggles in trashy parks and it just picks up a thrup at 5/6 inches. As you said entry level and it is his first machine but he wishes he had bought a second hand Garrett or something similar instead. HH&GL.
How long has your mate had the machine?. To be honest the best way to detect is with your ears but i do agree with you. Any detector will find trash in a trashy park. Thanks for stopping by my friend.
How can it be you honest opinion if it was a present from the mrs???
Why cant it be??
Happy Birthday Steve. 🎂🎁🍻. For an entry level it looks like a nice little machine.
A convenient size too. 🙂👍🏻
Thank you ian my friend. Its great very light and compact. 👍
Magpie I had the 40 out of the last line and tbh I did like it but the recovery seems to slow down on deeper targets and it will hit deep targets it keeps just needs to be swept at a slow pace wich is painful for me in a way
I know what you mean about the recovery speed. But sometimes low and slow works better. 👍
Just bought one 66 today for friends upcoming BD on Canada Day 2022. Hope he likes it! Thanks Marc Ottawa/Canada

Hello I had one as my first detector. It is what it is. Simple detecting. It was fun on the dry sand at the beach but it there was a lot of trash it was noisy. Good portability and a choice for someone who wants to do basic detecting.
I agree it packs a punch for the price aswell. Thanks for stopping by chris
How to buy go find 66 or how make order
I found a woman's diamond ring 1 carat marquise cut a few months ago with the my go find 44 and using a pinpointer isn't cheating it's a major time saver good hunting friend!!
Looks good and thanks for the video, I've been looking at a 66 today and I think it's the one for me as a beginner . what pointer were you using ?
Hi anne its a great starter machine. I use the nokta makro pin pointer. I think Lp are selling the gofind 66 and free pinpointer at the mo. 👍
It's great for beach detecting, even water, as no ground balancing required just reduce sensitivity. The bluetooth helps to give some indication of which coinage is picked up. But I noticed a distinct wobble in shaft when sweeping which I found annoying. So I attached an L-shaped metal brace between handle and shaft, with velcro. It works a treat and velcro straps can be removed in order to fold up detector. Now if Minelab had used carbon fibre shaft.......................!!!
I agree with you 100% good idea with the velcro straps 👍 thanks for stopping by.
device will find the platinum i missed my ring so looking for device to find that
I have the go find 44 and it's a good machine
Thanks for stopping by matt 👍 i agree with you.
Are you still active? I bought my first one today which came with a pro find 15 for £229. Didn’t check how old it was or the price but I hope it’s worth the money! Did yours lay for itself in these 3 years? Any further comments for me as someone who’s going to receive one tomorrow?
Thank you for demonstration! I still wait for authorization but can't wait to use it on the beaches.
Best of luck with it.
@@magpie73 gave my go find 40 to one of family. He's found loads with it.
Thanks for the honest review. I'm looking for a first. Its either the Nokta Simplex, Garrett Ace 300, or Minelabs Vanquish.
I'm stumped. I should buy all 3, right...
That's a tough one, all very capable machines. If I had to pick it would either be the simplex or the vanquish. But to be fair, they are all good starter machines. Thanks for stopping by.
Hello steve, gud video but how much depth it covers easily in feet or meters?
I'm thinking off buying the minelab 11 around £100 what do you think. I'm just starting out so lovely jubley from Scotland
Not used the go find 11. Im sure you will like it. I started with a second had detector for my first machine. Good luck whatever you decide 👍
Thanks dude 😊 brilliant wording and easy to follow.
Ive never done this but so keen and going to buy one now, It is alot of money for a beginner so your vids are very highly appreciated
Glad it was helpful!
Me and my son have the go find 60 great for beach hunting we found £7 and a silver ring on the weekend over the moon Great not the best on wet sand but will still work on the wet just nock the sensitivity down a notch. 👍
It's a great machine for the price ian. Enjoy it my friend 👍🏻
Great video mate I am looking for my daughters first machine what’s better the Garret 200i or go find would you say ?
Thank you. I have never used a garret 200i so its hard to say. But I know they are good machine's. All depends on your daughters age. With the gofind you get a simple turn on and go detector. But with the 200i you get I.d numbers etc so easier to determine what a target is. Hope this helps you.
Steve, I purchased my Mindlab GO FIND 66 back in Dec. 2020 and so far I'm trying to get used to it. I'm Very New to this Hobby. I came across your channel and like your content and presentation.
Keep up the good job and we'll see ya out on the hunt. My "Morgan's" came from Wales, Cardiff. Cheers
Thank you my friend best of luck to you. Stay safe
Ok I just got mine how do u charge it
You don't it takes 4 AA batteries 👍
What is the difference between this model and the National Geographic Pro series detector ? Does anyone know?
I have to say they look the same 🤔
I have the Minelab Go-find 60
More or less the same machine mike thanks for stopping by.
@@magpie73Oh i also have the Quest Q40 i subscribed :-)
@Mike Jarvis thank you Mike hope to have more video.s coming soon
Nice honest review mate. Thanks for sharing. HH Jason
Cheers jason mate. Best wishes for 2020 buddy 👍
How depth long detect sir?
It depends on the size of the target my friend. I would say about 8 inches deep maybe more.
Saludos desde mexico , yo tengo el go find 44 , salgo muy amenudo a las playas de Cancun , Quintana Roo .👍
gracias mi amigo. cuidate 👍🏻
I have it....it's portability is the best....you have the right idea about being out working or whatever and having it available for a hunt
I agree my friend. Stay safe 👍
Just got a minelab. The red light means it's likely trash. The green light means probably treasure!
My greatest problem is with pipes. I'm definitely going to have to detect in undeveloped places. Does anyone know any good metal detectors that are able to distinguish when there is a pipe? I think to me, at this point, they're more of a nuisance than nails!
Hi Steve good video bud... Detector looks Ok and does find items going by other videos. But think I stick to me etrac for now👍👍😎
Cheers adrian mate reason i wanted one was to take with me to work etc i often work near different beaches so be good to have the option for a swing 👍 also great to take on holiday 👍
So when your not busy at WORK 🤣🤣🤣 fair play Steve nice and easy to carry around in van👍👍
Good infortmative vid Steve mate...finding nuggets so its paying for itself right there. Atb DdD
It does its job dave mate. Best wishes for 2020 buddy 👍🍻
You never mentioned the pin pointer on this machine does it not have one.
Yes it has pinpoint but not very accurate it was my first time using the machine my friend
Happy birthday Steve looks a handy enough MD good for kids might get them interested in MD which is always a good thing 👍👍😀
Cheers sean mate. Im with you there 100%. more kids out detecting rather than playing computer games 👍
I think good beach for surfing
We have quite a few kite surfers on local beaches vic 👍 stay safe my friend
Thanks for the video Steve, birthday wishes too. May I ask where you got the plastic trowel. thanks Neil
Thank you neil mate. I got the trowel with the detector all part of the set aswell as some ear buds 👍 take care buddy

great kiddies detector i think..good vid cheers
Defo great for kids my friend 👍
Looks good Steve, especially how portable it is. Happy birthday for yesterday.
Cheers mark mate. Its a great grab and go detector 👍 very light and compact.
Happy birthday good honest review
Thank you Jack and thanks for stopping by.
It’s more expensive then others
You get what you pay for my friend 👍
I'm glad I'm not the only one who seems to find aluminium all the time.
It's everywhere sam. Thanks for stopping by.
@@magpie73 No worries! Hello from Worthing, West Sussex.
I want to buy this.. How that price ?
Link in the description 👍
Great video 👍 just got one so looking forward to getting out.
Thank you Richard and thanks for stopping by. Best of luck to you when you get out. Take care and stay safe my friend. 👍
I’d be collecting rocks here, they look great
Every stone is different thanks for stopping by 👍
Are your beaches made up of pebbles?
Yes they are but there's wet sand when the tide is out.
@@magpie73 Thanks mate, I got one of these yesterday for my birthday!
Best of luck to you my friend. And thanks for stopping by. Take care
Eu não entendi nada. Alguém do Brasil que assistiu esse video??
Ele achou que o detector é bom???
Will this detect gold at all?
Yes it will detect all metal
@@magpie73 thanks. Deciding on this or the Vanquish 340.
I have to say I would go for the vanquish 340 it's a great machine 👍
Sooner or later you get back the price of the detector. 😁
That's the plan my friend 😊 stay safe
@@magpie73 U2 😉 I plan to buy a metal detector. Do you think it's okay to buy this type?
Yes my friend its a great starter machine and not to expensive 👍
Great machine for keeping in the boot, nice hunt Steve 👍
Cheers steve mate. It will be coming with me 24.7 😁
If you find a machine that doesn't like aluminium , Pls let me know .
I'm with you there my friend.
Gold and aluminum almost the same to a detector, so the fact it finds it, bodes well for it finding gold. Food for thought....
whats the differance between the 44 and the 66 they both look the same but different prices?
Have a read on here richard it should answer your question 👍 take care
