I just made sure I had a clear view and the cam sees me as a human. Downside it takes 10 secs for the camera to recognize me and start recording but it does work and follows be around.
To be fair, if it needs 20 seconds to record, someone could've damaged the car already. If a person scratches your car, it's just like a swift move by. That's what the camera should record.
Useless gimmick. In 20 seconds a thief is long gone after breaking in. Not to mention the footage is useless if you can't retrieve it after they steal it.

Did you got the latest 7.7.2023 updates? The parked surveillance motion sensors on my doesnt work. Altho, rhe shock sensors like open or slamming the door or hood will triggered it. But not detects motions like movement. I wonder if i should factory reset it or wait for the next updates. Whenever that eill happened. And where is their support forum?

This dashcam is far from smart. It gets triggered by small bumps in the road, but people hitting my wing mirror don't even trigger it. According to the documentation, it records very little before and after the collision, definitely not enough to provide complete evidence of an accident. A car pulled out in front of me and I locked up all 4 brakes (no ABS). The cam didn't react to the sudden braking or the rapid closure rate with the vehicle in front. Don't bother buying this camera if you intend to post clips on UA-cam.

How the camera suppose to record instant if the camera start shoot after 20 seconds or 10 seconds ? Or you go to the mall or a store you park in the parking area and other guy parks next to you and when he open he’s door he hits your door and scratches your door? This camera does not record movement starting from the back. The camera has AI algorithm to detect humans to start recording which sadly will start 10-20 seconds after. A motion activated one will work better. I your case I would get a camera the has 24 hour surveillance.

How is this supposed to see a person sneaking around at the back of? Isn't the camera itself the way it detects? It doesn't have eyes behind its head! In other words the criminal could just run train on the back end of the car without this thing ever knowing
@@AutoSensation mine was broken, they replaced it, it partially works now, the idea is that the sensor it has to see at least a 75% from a human body to detect it (I was testing it being too close from the car), also the sensor only covers the front of the car which is a bit sad...

And a simple thing as the coalition detection, what should be done with an accelerometer that doesn't use more then 2 to 3 mah , already makes this dashcam us about 200mAh/h in combinations with the 4 G module, Without the coalition detection and Motion detection, it just uses 10-20mAh/h including the 4G module. So the nice advertisement of the motion detections are focusing on a feature that you can only use for a short period of time. Leave your car for 4 days and the changes is high that it won't start. Except if you have a smart car that just completely switched of the Omni.
Exactly. What if someone keeps keying your shit and you want to catch them. This should record 20 seconds in advance before triggering the long term footage. I want it to follow and record everyone who comes near my car. I don't care about battery life, I'll hardwire it in and an SD card or removable to my pc would be great.
So it's useless if you have huge or lifted truck. it will not detect pedestrian nor a criminal if the camera can't see them or if they don't stand and pose for +20s. Lol in the real world, who would stand there for more than 20s... lame😅
I've checked your guide on the surveillance, which was informative and also checked other channels. None really talked nor demonstrated it functions. I hardwired my 70mai. The collision/shock sensor works. I have yet to get the motion to do anything. I checked the recorded videos and used their rs visual effects overlays. It did appear 70mai reading objects. But, i think that's just the software detecting the video and not tue actual camera. I do hope their next update will sort this feature because it was the selling point for me.

No my motion is norml speed. Try checking your 24 hour timelapse if it's off.

No. If you have the hardwire kit your battery should not die. To turn off parking mode you have that option in the settings menu

I have my camera hardwired but when I shut down the car ilthe camera just turns off. Not saying enabling parking mode etc

Mine installed to fuse board but its just recording only when i switch off the engine. No hyperlapse no smart detection.
Check setting to make sure the feature is on.

Check to make sure you have motion detection on. Also check your wiring. I heard sometimes you might need to switch the red and yellow.

Correct. It will only detect once you are in field of view of the camera. Then it will follow.

Go to your settings. Turn on motion detection.

No. This camera does not record unless in view in front. I would recommend a camera that has 24 hour surveillance,side cams and motion detection.

It detects the sound and turns the camera that way
it has to be set in high sensitivity or low sensitivity?
I don't think it matters. It works on any sensitivity on mine.
