Maybe I"m bias being an Ariel man ( look at my handle ) but Val page was such a fantastic designer !! not only with Ariel !! He played musical chairs with Triumph too !!! To me the most inovative motorcycle company of the 20s 30s 40s 50s 60s was ARIEL !!! A great vid with some beatiful bikes... thanks...
i reckon there is plenty of crappy sound recordings of vintage bikes on youtube. camcorders and youtube cannot do them justice so i think your music choice was cool, kept me watching. cheers :)
Great collection of pics here & info; yes its a pity that England has lost so much motoring history, thats why collectors are so important...keeping history alive + watch how many heads turn when they see a bike/car rally...the little kids love it! Thanks for posting, cheers.
Maybe I'm the odd one out but, IMO, the Arrow and Leader were hideous aberrations and a sad way for a genuinely excellent company to end, especially since the fours stroke models were beautiful bikes. I used to see a woman riding an Ariel 3 in the town where I grow up and it looked like a death-trap or maybe it was just the way she rode it. A 500cc Red Hunter of the late fifties is my dream machine, I only wish I had one.
Geat stuff! Love it that you added something different with the music rather than the boring old norm. I am an Ariel nut in New Zealand and have a few different models. Cheers!!!

Cheers from Norway.
Hi, very nice, really enjoyed it. Have an Ariel from '38; soft spot. Saw some images I 've never seen before; keep going.
