- Since we always shoot 'em with bows on opening morning, I always say that Sunday is our official opener. The season started off really dry in our area, so if you had the water, you had the ducks. The duck show at daylight is unreal on this hunt!! We enjoy the show and then manage to shoot forty something before nine o'clock. A heck of a way to start the opening weekend of the Arkansas season!!

Once again, the pregame show is outstanding!! I see that 20ga SX4. I hope mine shoots as well as yours. What are you using for a tree strap on your 20? I knuckle bump you too after after that hunt!!!!

Whats that band thing you have on your gun to hang it on the tree?
I’m not sure what Rusty’s using, but many guys use zip ties to hang their guns. Lots of options for hanging a gun on a peg.

I’m a little confused - I thought the season started Saturday. No biggy though cause next year i’m bow huntin with ya’ll on the opener so i’m happy as greenhead with 3 lady friends.
