Am I in this film? I can't believe it! :)
It's been a G-R-E-A-T experience with Philip and Wesley.
My very first experience as a film actor, and it was not even with Italian film makers!
It's incredible to be watched by millions of people, incredible. It almost scares me.
But I have nothing to be scared by, because I've read so many lovely comments by you viewers: I feel so happy if I contributed to move your hearts and feelings :)
Your appreciation means so much to me.
So, thank you very much, Wong Fu fans around there, or casual viewers.
Yours
Lorenzo "Marco" (Polo!) Abagnale ;)
P.S.: I'm pleased to know how many of you love how Italian language sounds!
YOU are incredible! thanks Lorenzo. I miss Rome!
You're a gifted actor!!!
Micah Mauderer Thank you so much! :)
Lorenzo Abagnale Italian language is beautiful
Thank you for your appreciation :)
Damn these Wong Fu ninjas cutting onions again!
Jaywalker Pictures careful! They sneak up on you!
Omg it's Phil!
Wow, I never looked at the love locks that way haha. Really loved the concept of this film! Thanks for sharing your perspective with us =) Amazing job to the cast and team!!
You obviously have more to say about this video, care to talk about it over a cup of coffee sometime?
@Viet Lee smoooooooth
hi maple buddy
Viet Lee And potatoes???
Totally tapped into the fear of failure with future relationships. This one's for the people who had a relationship that they'll never forget, but trying to move on, keep your heads up guys, it'll get better!
I love that its in Italian. The message here transcends culture, geography, race, and language. Great script Phil!
"this bridge will turn to dust long before i stop loving you"..... oooooooooooooooooooo I'm gonna use that line xD
"It's never been a question to me if I loved you enough, but a question of if I could love you the right way." wewwww T_T
Excellent cinematography, i rate this video 5 out of 5 potatoes.
i rate it with perfect score 5 out of 7
Viet Lee you mean...5 out of 5 jacksepticeyes? 😂😂
solid rating mate, 9gag traditions
5 out of 5 fresh tomatoes
Viet Lee made your comment have 444 likes :D
Wong Fu is always reaching for new heights! So beautiful!
Every single time I watch stuff that Phil wrote, and constantly being in love with his perception on love. It's beautiful and realistic at the same time. "Love shouldn't be locked down to anything, it needs to have the freedom to change because you and I are gonna change. It needs to grow, adjust and evolve around us." Thank you Wong Fu, its such a beautiful short.
*CRIES IN ITALIAN*
Ag3ntNengo lol. I need subtitles 😂
It's Italian. That makes a lot more sense. I was thinking "man French sounds weird here." lol
Alexandra Kek
iashrai im not sure all but a lot of it was spanish
Mac Penry it was in Italian
SO FREAKING GOOD! JAPAN!?!?!?!?? Did you teleport there or what?
Joslyn! ahh, thanks for watching! haha. Those shots were from a trip in 2014 that I've been saving ;P

StarfireToadandAang smh am I right
Wong Fu Productions u just happen to have such gorgeous shots stored!?!? I dunno if it's foresight or talent or really good post-prod work but man, I wish I have shots of that level just saved in my computer somewhere 😍😍
If I get married, I'll show my future wife this video just so i don't have to put down 5k for a diamond ring lol
Ŧ or hopefully, marry someone who won't care about a diamond. I wish that for you!
isabelle happyfeet didn't even get to 1000 for my fiancée ring. She could care less, it's the fact that I'm willing to commit my life to her that counts. Your spouse should love you regardless of the price of your ring(but be reasonable...don't get some 10 dollar ring, save up a little).
One of the leading causes for a downfall of a marriage is money... It's a great way to dig yourself in the hole with a wedding, expensive rings, and honeymoon...
Well you could always buy cubic Zirconium. Prettier than diamond but costs less
when you broke af but still gotta buy a ring to propose
these are some funny looking asians
Spazamazz Word.
Ikr, they look so European
in italy asians look like this, didn't know?!
TheCeska90 Their Italian sounded Chinese too
Wong Fu Productions is like red wine...getting better with time!
Can you get drunk off "Wong Fu"? hehe
Yes. That's why I don't Wong Fu and drive.
5:50 How you gon let her play Marco Polo by herself
Alcalde028 ikr
Alcalde028 xD You made my day
I did reply "Polo" when she was doing that 😂😂
rofl same here xDDD
XDD ahahaha
Girl: "Marco"
Me watching: "Polo" 😂😂
David Tu same
Same here...
David Tu same here!!
Ahahahah samee
Loved this
TBH we thought he was going to put the lock on a growing tree.
jrodtwins i though he was going to throw it in the water xD
jrodtwins I thought he was going to toss it in a boat
danku twins
Me too!
I was gonna comment the same thing but I thought he was gonna plant a tree
Seriously, I don't understand how they don't have more subscribers.
This has definitely topped my previously favorite short (Left On Shing Wong). Constantly seeing you guys on Snapchat and Instagram, and seeing parts of your every day lives, - how you go around just like normal people - I forget what true artists you guys are. Phil and Wes, we all thank you for another beautiful, moving, stunning short. You've heard a million times over how amazing and talented you are. If you think about how probably 99.9% of us sat at our computers crying while watching this, and countless other videos, you would know how incredible you, and all of Wong Fu, and all your work is. Thank you for continuously touching our hearts, our minds, and for making us cry and laugh. I will never say it enough, you guys are so wonderful, and truly deserve all the best.
Did anyone else yell out "POLO" when she was like marco?
LOL I did it every single time
YES 😂
banG168 you kind of have too ;)
Without even thinking.
all the time haha
"...but this bridge will turn to dust long before I stop loving you." *sobs*
Absolutely beautiful!!! You guys always amaze me with every single short film. Thank you for sharing your works of art with the world.
I have nothing but unconditional love for you all. 💓

Is this what non Korean people feel like when they watch KDramas?
yup... :P
Angie Kong Yup pretty much
yeah sums it up pretty well, but a bit more of a rollecoaster though this felt more like the last episode of a kdrama :)
Yeah. As a Korean person it's true
yep.. same with anime and anything that's foreign related with subs.
Always get the feels when i watch Wong Fu. Amazing video
Beautifully done and great pacing. Love this.
Meanwhile I'm still rotting under the covers wondering if someday I'll be able to have such conversations
Legend has it that he just wanted to save money by not buying a diamond ring
tru tru
he succeeded..
I couldn't help but think during the entire video how beautiful the Italian language is.
Dang...Wong Fu hitting me with all the feels. Always love all of Wes and Philip's work.
One of the best things about Wong Fu: you're never disappointed with the beautiful short films they make 💜 :)
loved the scenic shots of Italy and Japan. there are love locks are all over the world, but i liked how the common concept is portrayed in this short. so deep and beautiful :')
Beautiful cinematography as well as the ending😌 Wished you guys chose to come to Seoul for the love lock scene! Haha💕
I love WongFu cuz they value Quality > Quantity, unlike alot of youtubers who have just milked content
I can't belive u guys shot this in 24 hours!
Anika Chakraborti and we only met the actors 2 nights prior! It was an intense shoot but so worth it!
pwangs that's so cool! I love all the wong fu videos!
I keep thinking that Wong Fu Productions has like 10 million subscribers because that is what they deserve.
Another great story Philip, loved it!! Also great performances by Lorenzo and Bea! :)
DUTCHi // Martyn Thank you very much! :)
julia: marco?
me: polo 😂
beautiful video! love the cinematography and dialogue.
Simple and Touching. That's how love should be. Love the captured angles in the film too.
Philip Wang and Wesley Chang, you both will never disappoint me. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The plethora of ways love is able to intrinsically imbed the most personal and intimate meaning.
I really liked this video. It is nice to see Wong fu branching out.
Simply beautiful. But do people actually speak so poetically?
In my experience, not often, but yes. And when they do, it is amazing.
omg sometimes.. I-It's too much \(>.
nope
Dustin Boyd
ma dove vivi?!
Theory has it that Dante was the father of modern Italian, creating a whole new vernacular of Italian that only consists of the most beautiful words and sounds that Italian can offer. It certainly sounds like it every time.
I'm Italian and I've been following you guys for a long time... when I clicked on the video I had to pause for a second and double-check: am I on the right channel?! Hearing the WF poetry in my own language is pure magic. GRAZIE for this special gift!
Chiara SB E pensa per me farne parte, che prima nemmeno li conoscevo! :)
Grazie a te, Chiara
Ahah immagino! E' così raro sentire dell'italiano sul loro canale che all'inizio credevo fossero solo battute "per dare un po' di colore locale" , e mi aspettavo che sareste passati all'inglese da un momento all'altro!
Comunque complimenti, siete stati incredibili! Spero di rivedervi in altri loro video ;)
Grazie davvero! :)
Chissà, starà a loro chiamarci di nuovo in eventuali nuove produzioni nostrane ;)
(certo, sarebbe incredibile fare un cammeo in "Single by 30"!)
These foreign films are amazing. It is beautiful to see different stories told in different languages. :) And this script was super sweet! :) Keep up the awesome work, Wong Fu! Thank you for sharing this with us. :)
Okay. I'm about to cry. This one goes to my Favorite list.
Phil's writing always brings me to tears 😭
So freakin' cute!
whispered Polo to myself after she woke up and called out "Marco?"...
I straight up shouted it XD
Rastox95 an American game that kids would play. If the person that is "it" says Marco, everyone yells polo and the person has to tag someone while their eyes are closed
Romance is dead but at least Wong Fu lets me believe, if only for a little bit.
Is it weird that the minute I read the title I immediately thought that, well, true love DOES lock you down. And then this ended in a proposal!
Love this one!! every time she said Marco I said POLO!
You can easily tell by the first scenes and shots that Wes did the cinematography
Romance is dead in America because of all the online dating apps. Thank you for still believing in romance. 😊
RJ and PAULA what happened to courting a girl now a days 😢
RJ and PAULA no point on courting girls now a days. It's all about swiping right. Lol. 😂
Agreed!
RJ and PAULA: I vehmiently disagree with you. Those are there because some of us don't have the time to go out all the time meeting new people.
Who said a dating app wont lead to courting? & who justified that dating apps kill romance?
As a straight guy, I swooned almost to the point of unconsciousness at the line, "But this bridge will turn to dust long before I stop loving you."
Romantic and realistic in recognizing that everyone brings past experiences along. Watching the characters be generous with each other is where the amazing growth and love shines in this film. Lovely. Thank you. Be well!
awww that's actually the cutest thing in the world. Relationship goals!
ok I started crying when he pulled out those rings omg that was the cutest thing ever and soooo romantic
After a stressful day at work, definitely makes my night to finish off with a new WF short :)
Definitely loved the different aspect about the locks. I never would have seen it that way had it not been for the short.
Damn you Wong Fu..making me tear up again.
apologies. ;P
it's too early in the day to make me cry this much
i had high hopes for this short like i do for any wongfu short and my expectations were met once again :) i always love the meaningful and touching dialogues and the beautiful cinematography
at the beginning i didn't feel the chemisty, like i saw them as two actors portraying a couple, through the dialogue i didn't really feel they were deeply connected or anything but 4:23-5:37 is where it became really convincing that those were two people who love and cherish each other, it was really beautifully made :)
but as much as i loved the story and the meaning and the romantic gestures and words i kept thinking "that's great..... but so movie like and not anything like real life" because honestly i can't really picture a guy doing and saying those things... there are other shorts i can relate to better actually ^^
well but maybe my reality and the guys i know/have known are just a small, and limited view on life... maybe there are guys and couples like this and i just haven't had the luck to meet such people :(... i'd love to believe that someone like this exists because it would raise my hopes of actually finding my soulmate or someone who understands me and values the things that i do...
and if not i guess i'll just have to marry phil's thoughts ........ T^T
aww thanks wong fu raindrops are falling on my eyes again
UGH, Wong Fu always knows how to express the best feelings with the perfect words. Love this soooo much!
I always try to guess whether it's Wes or Phil's short when I watch a new film from WongFu and this got me confused because the dialogues sounded Phil (Wes tend to write philosophical musings that have no end point but Phil likes to tell a message at the end of the film) but the cinematography reminded me of Wes, particularly the shots at 4:56 because of how he handled the lighting and shades, and it turned out it all makes sense in the end :D
nice detective work :D
wow thanks Wes so honored to have your reply :P
Wongfu short films ALWAYS hit me in the feels!!!
complimenti wong fu, vi ho sempre seguito e adorato i vostri video e vederne uno girato qui in Italia mi rende davvero orgoglioso. davvero bravi
I love that Wong Fu isn't afraid to reach out to other cultures & languages! Love is the universal language! Thus is a very beautiful story...thanks Phil & Wes for thinking outside the box! This what sets you apart from the rest! Well done!
I wonder if people can be so smooth in real life
By smooth you mean whiny?
goes overseas to meet Tom Hanks, comes back with a short under their belt. Brilliant
When you're An italian fan And OMG A WONG FU VIDEO IN ITALIAN
This was perfect and so were the actors theyre so good !
Beautiful!!
The actors actually did! I wrote about our entire process in this "behind the scenes" commentary... wongfuphil.wordpress.com/2016/11/21/lots-of-love-to-make-love-locks/
*Feeling all the feels* Wong Fu guys you never cease to amaze me. Wasn't expecting such a sweet end and I love the fact that you are always willing to step out of your comfort zone and try new things (like choosing italian--> makes it all so much more poetic). Your channel is definitely my fav. Can't wait to see what you come up with next !
Marco is making it hard for men all over the world hehe. Beautiful and so poetic, loved the short!
Capisco tutto :) Thank you guys for your time you invested in this at your short trip to Italy. I have been on that bridge shortly before you were there. It's like faith... we all should believe in miracles and love because this is what life is about. Thanks again for letting me believe in it
Aww, this was beautiful. Great job guys!!! wonderful footage as well.
WONG FU WITH THE FEELS YET AGAIN! I greatly admire your work and you clever writing and filmmaking, and I've been following you guys for many years. Keep it up!♡
I let this video play out while I was doing other things, expecting to hear the actors speak english, so when I heard them speaking in my own language I didn't realize it at first because I understood either way 😂 great video by the way!
prior incantatem 😂
Wong Fu always makes me cry with their shorts lol. Great job, never stop writing!
amazing concept
beautiful visuals
great actors

Nikki2917 Thank you, Nikki :)

When he proposed I teared up so bad 😭
Darian Gemora spoilers man!!! 😭😭
So beautiful! Makes me miss Rome so much! ❤️😥
You guys did it again. Good job.
I love the sound of Italian - it's one of my dream languages to learn. I could listen to them talk forever...
I knew this was written by Phil when the wise declaration of love came
Damn thus is bautiful! Really enjoyed watching this shot movie! Well written, really like the twist in Italian and the shots of the locks in Japan. Well put together! congratulations
!
I'm Italian and it was so good watching your video in my native language!I really appreciate your work :)
Wow, Phil, this was amazingly written. So was the whole production.
Is it bad that when she woke up and said "Marco," I had the irresistible urge to reply "Polo"....
To those that says wongfu is stuck with the same concept, i dont think so!!! They focus on what they are good at, and following them from day one til now, i think they were able to grow and flourish their work beautifully and shows their passion on each and every craft they do. Love this!!! Go wong fu!!! God bless!
Ack! thanks for doing a video in Italian! it's my favorite language
Alexandra Kek I'm learning it now in school so sort of. I love things like this because it helps me get better
Sashley Stevens ohh so its italian! i was thinking it was spanish and was trying so hard to understand it as im taking spanish- its cool how some of the words are the same in those languages! :)
I really love how the color tone of the picture changes when the guy had a flashback. It really shows the mood you're aiming for
uploaded 10 seconds ago , where's early squad at ?
Harshit Burde I don't know
Harshit Burde v
mehh
YOU GUYS, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I'M WEEPING. Seriously, That was absolutely Wonderful. Beautifully shot, and as always, such real, heartfelt, excellently written dialogue. And it was such a splendid change for it to be set somewhere completely different, in a different language. GAH. Bravo gentlemen, Bravo!
Beautiful! Makes me wish I could have that with someone in this world too.
"It's never been a question to me if I loved you enough. But a question of if I could love you the right way." WONG FU, YOU GUYS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. This was wonderful!
Well done WongFu. Well done!
Wong Fu does it again! The commentary on the complexity of love when she explains that their love is different, unique. His hesitation in not wanting to leave himself and his failures splayed across the globe, him saying I will love you long after these lampposts and bridges have turned to rust, the decision to write it in Italian- Love, love, love. Well done Phil and Wes.
That was beautiful and heart wrenching. Why did you go with the different language though just curious
MrLuc12367 It was a great co-working on the text and adaptation :)
Beautifully written, filmed, acted...a refreshing and simply amazing short film. ❤️
