So cool that Will Reeve is one of the hosts and a major John Williams theme is associated with his dad.

John's instincts are phenomenal. He knows EXACTLY what each film needs second by second.

Me aswell, Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones & Close Encounters of the Third Kind, were my starting points in my youth with Williams Music between 1977 & 1984…my god, those 4 films alone are enough to cement any conductor’s name into Hollywood forever

The Desert Chase sequence in Raiders is so good it's nearly surreal. John Williams wrote the music of my youth and early adulthood.

Just saw the documentary and it is amazing the variety, breadth and depth of John Williams's work and the joy that he brings to it. Interesting to learn how he developed his craft and way of working. It is moving and very well done. Stephen Spielberg said it so well at the AFI Tribute honoring his friend and longtime collaborator: "Without John Williams, bikes don't fly, nor do brooms in Quidditch matches, nor do men in red capes. There is no Force. Dinosaurs do not walk the earth. We do not wonder, we do not weep, we do not believe."

He's done so much great work. Some of his best scores, to me, are ones off the radar. Hook may not be that great of a movie, but the music is sublime.

I love film and television music. Ever since the days of early tv (Checkmate, Suspense Theater, every damn Irwin Allen series) I have been immersed in John William's stylings. I first saw "Star Wars" when it opened at Grauman's Chinese Theater and swore I heard a "Lost in Space" like cue during the Mos Eisley escape. He is his own arranger, started in Jazz and mastered so many styles. His Olympic theme is a work of genius. I better stop now, or I'll really get carried away.

My late father (French Horn Musician) adored all of John’s soundtracks, especially CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THRID KIND, he played it all the time in its entirety & would explain to the family how important the Horn Instruments & timing of them are to the film….my personal favorite is Jurassic Park (the first one),…the melodic hooks just give me goosebumps & during the quiet parts of the songs brings tears to my eyes immediately….
Superman x2 LP Version is very powerful & important cinematic soundtrack for me, one of my first Williams albums I bought when I was 15 & Indiana Jones (The Temple Of Doom) is magical for me when I bought it, Orchestra Vs. Tribal Drums & India Chants at its finest, I never heard anything like it before, it’s the most played Indiana soundtrack for me, but ofcourse all 3 of the first movies high on my list & ofcourse STAR WARS changed the soundtrack music game for Hollywood…..
Ok I’m rambling, but I will be watching this Documentary bigtime,….great interview, appreciate it….May The Force Be With You John, ALWAYS👽👍🏾🎬

These directors could’ve worked on a Superman IV or Superman V Sequel Will Reeve if your Dad’s movie Canon never purchased Superman IV or Superman V Industrial Light & Magic should’ve bought Superman from The Father Son Team who did Superman that your father portrayed so well I think Spielberg would’ve done Superman IV in possibly 1985 Christopher Reeve could’ve been Ben Richards in The Running Man in 1987 then play Superman in 1990 in Superman V and Superman & Supergirl would be in Superman IV & Superman V but when does the Christopher Reeve Documentary come to Max?

The only Steven-produced film of the Poltergeist trilogy was the original first film, released in 1982. The sequels were not made by him. If you're going to make up sh@t, at least try to make it somehow plausible. Now F@ck off....
