Probably the best video (least confusing/straight to the point) for beginners doing paint correction out there!
Thanks for all the videos. On a non-professional level I have been cleaning cars for years, but all of your info is going to really help me out.
Thanks for clearing up the mystery of mechanical compound and polish. I have had numerous muscle cars over the years and was super intimidated by machine as opposed to hand buffing. With your knowledge I can now say I am ordering my first buffer, pads, compound and polish. You have given me the confidence I need to improve my 1967 GTX to showroom condition. I can’t wait to get started. Thanks again!
How did it go? Did you do it?
This is information that I am grateful to review. I'm just outside of being a noob I've used my polisher about five or six times. This is information I can add to my arsenal and I value it very much. I have gotten really great results using ultimate compound and polish duo with lake country orange and white pads. Using those leave the finish very deep and rich on my dark colors. It's very gratifying to see the paint come alive! Thanks Scott for your contribution!
Finally someone said something that I was looking for tks brother
Scott, this was exactly what I needed bro. It was clear, concise, and very informative. Thank you so much for sharing!
Each time I check into Scott's site I learn something. FYI I recently found Griots product at my car place. Thanks for your explanations which are helpful. This guy is definitely passionate about his profession. Thumbs up!
Ive been needing this video for the longest. Thank You Scott!!
Thank you so much. Ordered a set of pads and had no idea which ones to use, but now I do!
WOW! I spent hours reading and trying to put together what Scott did in 15 minutes. THANK YOU!
Apologies for my previous comment about your presentations. I have just viewed this presentation and it answered many many questions on pads and compounds. Excellent. Thanks.,,
By far the most straight forward video on this topic, thank you so much Scott
Great info, just the the type of video I was looking for! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Scott for the info on polishes. Here's to a great new year!
JUST the video I needed - about to do my virgin job with a Griot GG6 DA and had more questions answered in this video than several others - THANKX!
Perfect timing.
I've just bought a SPTA buffer/polisher and it came with a lot of pads.
I'm a home DIY, nothing professional, and this video explained everything perfectly.
Thanks for this.
Keep up the great work.
been watching all your videos lately thanks for the unbiased and informative videos
All I can say is WOW! So informative and well explained video. I’m fairly new to detailing but I know my ways but always so cool to hear how other detailers do it. Love orange pads!
Thanks Scott you have answered alot for me
Love Scott's videos...some straight up real talk
Great job Scott with a quick pad summary at the end. Great advice from a Texan or a guy who couldn't get here quick enough!
Hey Scott! Thanks for the info! God bless you and yours!!
Great as always, thank you.
I am a beginner, but I have come to the same conclusion and do for the most use soft and medium pads. You can`t do much wrong then.
Just began to try to learn agressive cutting with a rotary machine and the tougher pads.
When it comes down to what pads go with what creams I use pretty much what you have mentioned! The orange pad really does good work as an all around pad! When it comes to a 2 or 3 stage process then I will use a little different selection like MF, Orange then red or black! I wish I did some of my own vids on UA-cam that may possibly help begginers, but guys like you do a great job! Thanks for your time and effort Scott!
What are he black pads best for
@@allenroblin2372 Black goes for polishing after all corrections have been made. I really don't use them for anything else but wax or high gloss polish.
Thanks Scott great information , and I think you answered the most questions I had.
Thanks again
