Well, I guess we all have our different views of childish. Doug likes to inspire people's imagination with great enthusiasm. I find Criss as a person trying to look "cool."
Don't get me wrong. I've met Criss, and he's a very nice guy. Also a super talented young man, with a LOT of mega star potential. He's just not in the league with the Copperfields/Hennings ect...
Johnny Carson is a cool illusionist also he's the great carsini :) he let cool illusionist Lance Burton do his whole dove illusionist act. And it was soo nice of Jonny Carson to do that amen and now Lance Burton is doing his own shows and tour and movie extc and on many illusionist magic television specials even on animals planet called grollia magic and dirty jobs appears on Lance Burton and Lance host part 2 of the science of magic and part 1 Harry Anderson illusionist host part 1 of the science of magic and a Hallween tv special on nicklodian with Mark Summer's at the magic castle Lance Burton and Tina leanered do cool illusions and I think apparencess of Gomez guy on Adam family also
Yeah, but there are ways to inspire people's imagination with great enthusiasm without being as childish seeming as Doug, I find. For example, Carl Sagan, who is poetic, inspirational, and has an air of maturity and intelligence. That's not a knock against Doug, I just find his style to be a bit overwhelming.
Yeah, which is sort of frustrating. And to a degree I guess Criss is somewhat childish as well because of his goofy "emo/goth" type image trying to appeal to teenage girls and all that. It's funny, he looked a lot better before when he had long hair. Anyway, yeah, back to Criss' show. It's true that he uses too much bullshit and not enough substance.
