    Often injured: check
    Strikes out a lot: check
Yeah, he's a perfect fit for the Mariners.

the answer, WHAT. the guys hitting .192 with 5 HR's. 23 strike outs in 52 Ab. Rather have Brent Rooker on the roster.

Luis Robert Jr. is literally the best fit for the mariners, I would trade any prospects for him except for Lazaro Montes and Felnin Celesten.

@@dougsmith6346 you can't make any trade with just one prospect. Robert is probably worth Clase and 2 top 10 prospects.

@@dougsmith6346 I agree with Passan when he said that because of so many teams still having a chance at a wildcard spot by the trade deadline, Robert is the best hitter they can get.

Adding hitters to the M’s lineup is pointless until the M’s figure out the reason that good hitters aren’t succeeding in Seattle. It is hit or miss with bats (more miss). In case of Polanco and Garver, these are players that have numbers that are hard to explain after 2 months of adjustment to the new team. Luis Robert will have to go through the same period of adjustments that Polanco and Garver had to go through. The M’s will be in bidding war against teams like the Dodgers. This could easily deplete resources when the M’s also need a leverage bullpen arm. The M’s have to decide whether to stick with their MO which has been pitching and trade for bullpen arm.

Then you’re effectively saying to punt on any World Series chances, cause you don’t win in the playoffs without hitting. The problem isn’t Seattle, the problem Is the front office can’t identify hitting talent and keeps taking regressing bats who rely solely on power, a bad combo in ANY pitcher’s park

@@kylewilson2819 Front office has identified Julio as a good hitter as well as Cal. Polanco, Garver, and Raley have history of good hitting prior to joining the M's as well as Jesse Winker, Tommy La Stella, and Kolten Wong. You look at the back of their baseball cards and they haven't played to their stats when they play for the M's. You are wrong. There is something rotten going on in the M's system. Hitters around the league know this as career deflating experience even Teoscar sounded off on this.

@@kylewilson2819 As far as Luis Robert is concerned, he has history of injuries and hasn't had a full season until last year. This year, he was injured again. This is a red flag much like Tom Murphy that you can't depend on them.

No, they need a low strikeout player to round out the lineup. Robert alone is not even close to enough.

Mariner's be so desperate for offense they see a guy batting .182 hit one upper decker and think he's the answer. Ridiculous.

Most of your guests including this one are agents sent to soften ownership on making a bad deal. Give up no one! I like this team right now if Scott can get out of the way and let the men play. That doesn’t sound right, does it? 😊

No, because he has a low average.. can't hit our pitching except the one HR.. not proven except for that one good year last year, and injury prone.. unfortunately, there's no Bryce Harper type player out there to trade your farm for.. I say Pete Alonso will be better and cheaper so that you can get rid of Ty France in the future

I’ve met Scott, didn’t impress me and I’ve definitely questioned a lot of his decisions. But I will say he’s got the respect of the players in the clubhouse and deserves some credit. Considering how well we’re doing and we haven’t played our best baseball is a great sign for things to come
