I deleted everything except UA-cam and Pinterest. There were too many people with access to me and it affected my mental health. I focus on the people who are actually in my life.

Congratulations S.J.! As you may recall I left Twitter in October 2022. I joined in 2009. Left Facebook in 2012. I am so glad I left those spaces. Am grateful that I met you through Twitter. I now spend a total of 10 minutes a day max. on social media. Thank you for everything that you do. I will stay in touch. Peace out!

I'm an old-timer astrologer but relatively new to the twitter astrology community. I'm appreciating input and astrol insights from others. Twitter certainly is flawed but still better than corporate media if you separate the crap from content. I'll watch for you on YT. It certainly is time for radical change! Wow, this is EXACTLY how I feel about Instagram. The app hasn't aligned with my values for a while. There are a few people that I enjoy following, but ultimately I left both Twitter & Tiktok when I felt called & don't miss either of them. Feel like this might be the next one for me. Thanks so much for making this video! I follow you on twitter so it was a bit of a shock & mystery when you suddenly disappeared, it's good to know you are ok and your exit was planned and motivated. I hear what you say about the time suck and I suppose I spend way way too much time there too, but I am enjoying it so I think I will stay for now. Totally hear you about changing structures & how sm could suddenly all end. My issue is because I adopted SM so enthusiastically personally, my company put me in charge of their SM too so now part of my job revolves around pushing SM content! I'm Pisces Sun/Sag rising.
Also, 2009 was a very rough time for me with huge scary changes in my life, so SM at that time actually facilitated very positive IRL new directions for me which are around still (although X certainly isn't operating that way these days).
I am turning in my Internet box on April 10th. Had enough of the net. I am sure it will be very difficult, but I see it as an injection of negativity no matter how hard I try to control my viewing, of what I consider positive input!
So interesting! Glad you posted this. I have left social media several times since Neptune has been in Pisces...The final cut came with the solar eclipse in Scorpio (my 3rd house) conjunct my natal Uranus and opposing my natal Mercury and Chiron, and with Mars in Gemini (my 10th) conjunct my natal Venus. It was also the time I got sober. I did do the Irish good-bye. Or the INFJ doorslam 😂
I took a year break and deactivated my personal accunts, but I am back on to advertise my courses. But I don't really engage. Everything is automated. It was such a time waster and I am developing new forms of channeling the knowledge I can share with the world in new ways - like editing UA-cam videos.
I feel physically better not having my consciousness hijacked by a bunch of pixel people, thoughts and energies which I don't consciously choose to intake. I am more focused and sleep better. And I can more easily follow my inner compass without hopping on the crazy train, knowingly or inadvertently.
Keeping doing this awesome astrology work and teaching. Your gifts really shine here. We love your content and all your encouragement 🙏✨️🌠

i've weirdly been reconsidering joining social media as i feel like i've been too isolated and hermit-y. i've been considering how i can show up online in ways that serve me and fuel me, my creativity, my connections and energy/attention rather than take away!

G'day my fellow 144! Lol! I came to the same conclusion in a different way: Mars my chart ruler was at critical 29th degree in my 11th house of social media asking to lessen the load, i looked at libra eclipse near south node in my 6th house of daily routines, noone on my Facebook page understands my astro outlook so interpretations there weren't working so i have to find another way. When Mercury conjuncted Neptune i got the download to how to share my knowledge differently in a way others can understand. Thanks for your videos - Kelly the Wounded Healer (Chiron 1st house 29th degree - next aries Eclipse will conjunct transiting Chiron AND my 19° Aries Ascendant EXACTLY!) 🇦🇺

I've never been on Twitter...my friends hardly post anything on Facebook anymore so I get bombarded with ads and posts from people I don't know and don't want to know and Instagram is no fun anymore..... UA-cam is my favorite for videos and Pinterest for pictures.....but I hope Neptune in Aries cuts down the darn advertisements 😂... Love that you're staying on UA-cam ❤

Twitter did me a favour and suspended my account, I asked why, their answer was X ... not as in a kiss but as in ex ... What a destructive name to give themselves.
Good for you, SJ! ✌️🤩 I left fb and twitter years ago, and although i dip in and out on other platforms, I am very conscious of the amount of energy I give to media in general. One symptom I remember whilst 'withdrawing' from regular social media use... writing imaginary posts in my head. All day 😂
Not sure if the Tiktok style of a dozen cuts per second helps with the algorithm or a fraction of viewers with attention issues, but please do not use it.
Pauses are an important aspect of absorbing information. If people want, they can always speed up the video.

I logged off Facebook in 2012 for the last time- never went back. Never added Twitter, but during fire evacuation x was the only place I could get info, but it was mixed real time with past, not good. 🤙
I actually deleted my and my bands Twitter/X account the very day Musk bought and took control of that social medium.....Best regards and I so appreciate your knowledge and studied honed skills in Astrology sincerely. Cheers!

Thats how i felt when finally deciding to study astrology. Before just carried a mundane existence day to day. Then after the solar eclipse in 2017 there was an urge to listen to tarot a astrology thru videos on you tube. Now I have taken a course an understand better but looking for the new direction. Did my first reading a few days ago an since i have open this door. I hope that this eclipse round brings a possible idea or spark in direction.

I’ve never understood the appeal of twitter, to be honest. It’s just terrible for mental health, et c. Same with instagram. But at some point we need social media platforms that aren’t inherently anti human and pro capitalist to connect with each other on the internet. Is that even possible? Maybe the basket configuration will be the key here.
