Everyday
The great part about this is, no matter what you say, I still get paid to do this. :)
You're a fucking GOD BROTHER! I'll support your patreon for life, thick and thin! Right now with covid-19 these artists need us more than ever, it's time to be selfless people! Show you love and support !
I really fucking hope so! And if not let me know so I can fix that lmao

It took me longer than it should to realize how that voice-changer fooled me. I really thought Daniel switched the Singer. I love his unique "normal" voice, but i also loved that scratchy aggresive shouting voice and I hope he will once in a while tune that voice for a Song again ;-)
@@sgefrascz8123 There isn't a lot of distortion or FX on these vocals on this album. They're just layered with a bunch of compression. The reason I sound different now is because what I was doing then was not done properly or with any kind of technique and I was trashing my voice. In 2011 I started taking singing seriously and visiting vocal coaches in order to learn how to sing and scream properly. It's been a long road but I'm glad I took it. If I hadn't I would have ruined my vocal cords and ended my career very quickly.
Holy shit, just realized this was a whole ass decade ago! Still an absolute banger.
Daniel's completely different from most music performers of Industrial-pop, Aggro, Harsh-Electro who still performs at this level and just as much energy; no matter, how old or harsh the song.
Ya, really hard coming to terms that I discovered this so long ago. But that was on my first YT account, so I guess it makes sense. Damned time's flown too quickly. Surely, this can't be that old. Nooooo...ahhhhh. I feel like my brain's been displaced thru time as I'm overthinking this now. 🤯
I know, I feel so ancient.
Fourteen Years later and I still play this song LOUD WHILE driving!!!!
Song's name please
@@lucastoscano6084 The Great Depression.
I'm playing it loud right now!
Same, still play it out loud while driving 😊
Ugh this album is so great. I like his softer vocals, but that aggrotech feel gets me every time.
@DaveyMcFly420 It's also pointless to sing into microphones that aren't plugged in, or rock out on an electric guitar with no amp, that never stopped anyone from doing it. Once you start taking this song and video too seriously, then you've missed the point entirely.
I just found this song, and i love it! Industrial is a very underrated music genre. I freakin love this
@Ai7A Yessss!!! 😃👌🏼
And besides the industrial genera is so so increadible vast. There are so many different styles and sounds. Ive listened actively for 15 years and still I stumbles on stuff I havent heard or bands I found come out with something new.
I fucking love aesthetic perfection mix goth and industrial metal I love the break down fucking awesome
Musically there is nothing Goth about this.
Industrial and Goth has been intertwined to be seen as the same (my opinion),
Industrial- Skinny Puppy
Goth- Christian Death
Examples of what those were musically.
Daniel has a gift, to be able to exude the "perfect look" to, just wanting to smash the World into pieces. Aesthetic Perfection is so underrated, that, it pisses me off, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves. This should be required listening for every angry teenager, going through those years of angst and frustration, when they think, nobody understands you or your perspective.
As a Psychiatrist, specializing in "At Risk' and "Self-destructive" youth. I've used music therapy, so teens have a visual-auditory reference, to explain their pain. Aesthetic Perfection is among the most popular singers, they pick out... !!! I wonder why? Except, I get horrible looks from parents, who have to listen to Daniel screaming and yelling, while in their bedrooms. But, there is nothing any worse than having to burring a child, from suicide; especially, when all they needed was an outlet.
"The Great Depression" remains one of my, "all time" favorite songs; no matter my age.
Funny you say that, because I was once an angry “at-risk” teenager seeking this music out. I’m listening to this right now out of nostalgia. :)
@@iCrazy13 Yea, I was there too.... !!! I spent a lot of time in the psych-ward for attempting suicide. Nirvana was big at the time, but then I was introduced to EBM/Industrial and it was the perfect release for me on the dancefloor, or, the living room at home. I released the anxiety and frustration and started to study Psychology. I tell people who freak-out over the music:
"Get over it: A little noise, is far better, than a silent casket.... !!!"
Hey, I'm super late, but thank you for your words. I was that teen. And I still suffer from suicidal ideation as an adult. I've accepted that it's just a part of my life.. But music is perhaps the best gift I can give myself. It's an outlet like no other and it's what keeps me here.
@@ziggyprice4780 That's super Ziggy.... !!! People are never to late for my parties.
Music is a wonderful release, so my wife and I are both Psychiatrist's, so even we stress out over time or simply have a bad day from stories and feeling that's are projected onto us both. We converted the garage into a mini-club, so we can set everything to a dark mode and dance until we both are so sweaty and tired, that we both just get all of it out of us.
It works, I promise you that, so, Thanks for you story....
I was once an at risk teenager and way back AP was my blood. I had the stickers on my black notebooks, full of the stuff my parents hated but didn’t understand. I introduced him to what few friends I had and some even still listen to him today.
My tastes have changed somewhat, leaning more into stuff like Pure Obsessions and Red Nights, but I still follow Daniel’s work and still wear my Necessary Response shirt.
I know this comment is 11 years ago, but 11 years ago I was 14 and exactly the kid you’ve described here. I was just recently adopted at this time by parents who didn’t think my previous trauma was real (the state had such little information about the case). Naturally, that makes an angsty kid. This stuff was my Bible and it got me through so much.
I am teaching students about the Great Depression in a college World History class, and it was quite refreshing to find this video when looking for something to fill time in my five hours marathon class today. I saw Daniel Graves performing several years ago as Necessary Response in Garden Grove, CA. I have not had the opportunity to see AP live yet, but I will definitely try to make it out when they're at Das Bunker in LA sometime.
The old good days❤
This is such a throwback, Classic AP at this date.
I love all of Aesthetic perfections music ...old...new...They have an album that suits whatever mood im in!
I approve this message! :D
I burn 2,000 calories every time I watch this video.
damn you must be fat if you are still alive then
My mother in law must watch it 😃

😂😂😂
Only rookies burn less that 1,500 xD
This has to be one of the most addictive songs ive ever heard along with black betty because its funny and combichrist intruder alert
So many years later, still love this song. Think this was one of the first AP songs I ever heard when I was still a teenager. Times have changed, I've changed, but this song is still as awesome now as it was when I first heard it.
such a dynamic band. Explores so many genres and emotions I look forward to hear more!
ODDKO introduced me to this guy, his style kept me coming back.
That ODDKO remix was super fun to do! Thanks for listening!
The whole reason I’m obsessed with Aesthetic Perfection 😊
I cannot believe I only started listening to these last year...where have you been all my life 🤷♂️
Well, he's just gorgeous isn't he? From an angry teenager still at 67 y.o., love it!
It's a shame more of Aesthetic Perfection's tracks aren't wake you up and stomp your feet bangers like this. Still good stuff, but this is my favorite from him that I have yet heard.
+Brian Gardner AP was never meant to be relentless aggression, it was always supposed to be emotionally dynamic.
+Close to Human Music Hey thanks for keeping up with the comments! Yeah, can tell that from the other music I've heard. Still, often certain songs fit the listener's ears better than others given context, and when it comes to the aggressivenes this song completely stands number one haha. Great Depression gets my blood pressure up .More about tone than content really, same reason someone will enjoy "Fuck Industrial".
+Brian Gardner While I appreciate AP's work in all styles they do I tend to agree, I think he does this aggressive style the best and I wish he liked doing it more than he does.
You hold a genre of music that has never been explored, PLEASE never CHANGE! a fucking musical god!
@@ClosetoHumanMusic This is what I've always admired about what you've created in AP. Its evolution through time is a direct representation of what so many people go through in their own evolution throughout their lives. We all have certain things that move and drive us. And those things change, sometimes dramatically, throughout our lives as we either aspire and work to better ourselves or to rot in our own decay (sometimes those are one in the same). This, I believe, is the beauty of what AP has to offer. It is a mirror into our own lives. It reminds us to look inward to sit and ponder who we really are and what we truly believe. That's true power.
You’re music is still being circulated along UA-cam. Keep up the good work. Got recommended this song after binge watching industrial music and compiling a playlist on discord.
Another fabulous performance.....this guy just owns it! Such talent he has! I am addicted to his videos!!
Thank you. Thank you for everything. Certain music thoughout ones life gives us the feeling like we're floating. "The ones", "Saint Peter", list goes on. Thank you. How much Aestetic Perfection is TOO much??? Trick question. There's NEVER ENOUGH!!!
I feel the lyrics very close to my heart. Love them
I love this song, but man - I imagine recording the video was incredibly difficult. It makes me disoriented just watching it, I can't even begin to fathom how dizzy one could get being in the middle of all those strobe lights / light bulbs.
+Laura Townley No different than being on stage in the middle of strobe lights and smoke. ;)
Close to Human Music - You must have much better eyes than me, haha. I have to close my eyes a lot when I go to concerts. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, I do appreciate it! (:
sometimes i wonder if he's yelling "cake! cake! cake!" during that one part. Don't mistake my humor, i love aesthetic perfection.
AHHHH i've been obsessing over this song for weeks and i'm still not over it!!! AESTHETIC PERFECTION FTW!!!!
Love this, must have played it dozens of times now!
awesome song. this video can never get old.
I've been a fan since the beginning. I'm still a fan today. Love you Daniel 💙
Toilet blue
Everyone sings in light bulbs... Where's my lamp? ( grabs it and Sings along)
I always do.....light bulbs is the future! :P
Bright idea
yeah no ones ever done that cough cough Manson
Saw them in Greensboro, NC last night. Best performance I've seen in a while. I'm in love.
Daily reminder that this IS a good song, Daniel.
Who lising this epic song in 2021?
Daniel, you KILL this video -- badass! Loved it for years!
Saw them live in Seattle the other night, so much fun to watch!
11 лет прошло, а все так же шикарно звучит
i met him once when he done a gig in Edinburgh scotland. he is so sound and friendly
Love ALL your musical creations, keep going!!!!!!
Loved this song, and even got to see them live. It now makes me feel incredibly old.
This album just turned 15. I also feel fucking old. 😂
My favorite band. HANDS DOWN.
Banging tune.. love it!
easily my favorite xmas song
I found them through a friend, and they are now one of the bands I like listening to.
Absolutely luv it!!
I like this song, and really, it's not because i don't know "better music" - i listen to god module, hocico, front line assembly, asphyxia, eisenfunk, combichrist, angelspit, all kinds of stuff, not only *pure* industrial but various overlapping styles, but i still like this. It may not be the most original song but it still appeals to me, and i love dancing to it. Why's nowadays cyber/industrial/whatever you want to call it scene so elitistic nowadays x.x
My best of Centhron Aesthetic perfection X-rx Xperiment V2A and Mental Discipline.
Brilliant song and brilliant cinematography!
Habe die Jungs erst 2009 auf dem WGT(Parkbühne) kennen gelernt ,Einfach klasser Sound um seinen ARSCH in bewegung zubringen. Der Stoff stimmt halt bei der Mucke. Lg womo
Great video. Added to favourites.
This was the first AP song I heard - still love it. Keep up the amazing work Daniel :) love everything you produce
Can't wait to see these live with Combichrist and Mortiis! =D x
Amazing!!!!
Still amazing! Love it!!!
I love watching this video in the dark. Just watching my room flash uncontrollably is a video in itself... especially during the chorus!
I love this song I could listen to it all day :)
I LOVE this song. Nice work!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to just dance to this song forever!
Outstanding!
Awesome!
Good to see the creator of the group/band/whatever you wish to call it posting their own stuff instead of the record label on a VEVO youtube channel. It is appreciated, sir, and please keep making music as you do.
Bellissima 👍👍👍👋💪💪💪😁😁😁
MAGNIFICO!
Bleeping Awesome!
Awesome!!!!
if Marilyn Manson had gotten into club music instead of metal
MM isn't metal but ok.
@@burlesq88 his early shit was.. like early 90s
@@kimmyfreak200 That can be debated. If you mean "industrial metal" it's very close to industrial rock. Marilyn manson is a shock rocker with metal influences imo.
Hell yeah, daniel. It's videos like this that make me want to see you live.
I just stumbled across Aesthetic Perfection about a week ago on here and fell in love, addicted already! Ordered the 3 albums and the Necessary Response album yesterday so I'm gonna be glued to youtube until they arrive hehe (",) AND please come play Ireland again at some point!
