Hey man, Good to see ya. I'm retired now but i was a one man show for years and three words come to mind. organisation, organisation, organisation. It looks like you know the deal. Lov the channel man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
I have made and used a bearing spacer shim before, for the swing axle bearings. It was a combination 68 axle and 944 backing plate. All things being equal, there was a space between the bearing and the backing plate after we bolted down the backing plate. I used a feeler gauge to determine the gap and I just decided to take up difference with a shim that I had waterjet cut. Easy peasy.
the spacer is used to shim up the wheel bearing. Alot of times the aftermarket brake caliper brackets allow the bearing to have to much play because the bracket is thicker than stock.
Both Axle/wheel seals were leaking badly. Could these assist in that? I’m curious how often these are used? This is my first interaction with them. Appreciate the reply.
Always impressed with your attention to detail and methodical approach to projects you tackle. Despite your rather gruff and matter of fact delivery you somehow manage to still be entertaining😜. Seriously though, your approach to working on projects is admirable and I for one am going to try and emulate it the best I can. Having real issues with ADD I can totally appreciate the way you visually organized that paint supply table. Fantastic idea imo! Well done and keep it up sir, we’ll be out here watching!

I prefer to call it curt. No nonsense and to the point. 👍🏽👊🏽
@@the_Wagen 👍Appreciate all the valuable content.
thats a oil slinger that goes in the later model bug wheel seal. earlier models dont use it , only the ones that have the little oil drain hole in it
This is a spacer used for the bearing cap. So I’ve been told. The oil slinger I’m familiar with. 👍🏽
I'm super bummed to not make the show... Couldn't convince the inlaws family to have our get together in Vegas a week earlier 👎🏼
That spacer is in cb perf brake kits
Good to know. 👍🏽
Maybe fix up a web camera live viewing by people at certain times?
I broadcast enough of my life 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the continued support Simon. 👊🏽
