Wonderful in all respects . Top marks to cameraman for professionalism and not wandering about randomly focusing of faces etc when it is the full body dance that is important
you must be so embarrassed, or at least you will be, after you find out you have no idea what you are talking about, and no insight about whatever whomever mumbled such things in front of you. tsk! a good memory gone to waste. When you get over thinking Isadora is yuck, get over thinking this piece looks anything like Isadora’s work, possibly either lose or gain a lot of weight, and get yerself an education rather than more unfounded opinions into that so far empty little skull on top of your ever-so elegant neck, you will have begun to make a little progress, or at least perhaps ended your retreat into opinion, which we all know is what we think when we don't know what to think, and give up trying to find what is more likely to be true, or fact; and settling for almost anything. The trump method! You've chosen nothing to stand on. Precarious and pointless that is. Mental fardles such as opinions like yours are the signs of an unfinished (and possibly unfinishable) intellect; in other words, just this side of a lie not faced up to. We've all made idiotic mistakes about expressing our opinions, even if, god grace the luck involved, we had a "good" opinion. Take this opinion in stride - No real dancer thinks Isadora is, was, or ever will be "yuck". Yuck is only what some fools make of it afterward - quite like how some waste lies around, stinks and is pestilential, yet other turns fertile and leads to abundance. And, ballet is hardly the be-all and end-all of dance, it's just a parenthetical nudge, far more superficial than its art demands, and a vehicle for entertaining fools, in the state it is now in. Rather than making effort toward what and where the art's real power and authenticity resides and abides, ballet remains a royalist divertissement (to forget the worsening conditions of those who really work), and now it is also a capitalist pastime, for the same reasons - to cloud or render indecipherable its power for “the people”, and retain the dreams and splendor of it only for the rich and bejeweled. One really has to blame the money, not so much the dancers, maybe somewhat more responsibility is on the choreographers. It is those who last and are remembered for their teaching who are our gurus. Isadora is a guru, and your present opinion is foolish, and if it does not embarrass you now or afterward . . . you will have found no lesson
Omg this is one of the most beautiful duets I've ever seen and the movement quality of both dancers is just outstanding!!
