Just fyi, we are the night crawler. We normally avoid the hot tropical sun and congregate at night. Everything is happening at night 😂😂😂 Don't worry, it is safe as hell night
Locals avoid the afternoon heat. Try exploring later in the evening when it's cooler. Malaysia comes alive at night. If you really love nature and wildlife, you need to check out Malaysia Borneo. It's a whole other world. Nothing like where you're at now.
@@peaceloveShu 1) Jalan TAR Night Market, 2) Kampung Baru (has Jalan Alor vibe but for the locals), 3) Taman Connaught Night Market (2kms long - mostly Malaysian Chinese hawkers), and 4) Brickfields (Little India). Just google them and it's not difficult to find. Have a good one!!!
Exactly, I was like "😲 that is RM20?" Locals go to shops near where they live😁. I'd suggest you check out "pasar malam" (night market...you'll have to ask around for where and when to find one...ask for recommendations), roadside stalls or foodtrucks. For 'nasi lemak', you can try Wanjo in Kampung Baru and again, roadside stalls. I saw a couple of spots in a YT video once but only remember Nasi Lemak Jalan Alor. Within Klang Valley, I'd say Shah Alam (and Klang) are relatively "cheaper" compared to say, KL, Kota Damansara, or even Subang Jaya. Putrajaya & Cyberjaya may be somewhere in between. Hope you'll continue to have a pleasant stay in Malaysia & get to visit other parts as well✌😊
@@peaceloveShu While in KL, check out- central market + river of life + Merdeka square (do this at night and they’re all connected like 5 min walk),TRX city mall, Pavillion mall, bukit bintang, KLCC park, petaling street, little India, perdana botanical garden, Kanching Falls, affordable stores in the mall are Brands Outlet and MB. There’s more stuff but I can’t think right now lol
Close to KL check out ICITY in shah alam, look up things to do in putrajaya, sunway pyramid theme park and mall. You can rent a car with your US license and passport and drive to Cameron highlands, genting highlands, and Melaka for a nice get away!
go back to the klcc park at 7am cool temperature and morning birds chirping ... calming and peaceful or 630pm - 7pm sunset orange cloud color reflecting klcc steel architecture, light starts to openup around 7pm - majestic view
if you are looking for malaysian food i def recommend some indian food "Bananabros" since i dont eat nasi lemak myself so i would just recommend you get that "Bananabros" so that u get some taste of different culture's food. and if im being honest the grab / uber driver dropped you off easily cause he didnt have to pay you back or nothing hahahaha he just earned some easy bucks
why don't you watch other videos about KL.. KL centre are mainly avoided by the locals.. its a tourist trap with plenty of scam by illegal immigrants.. there are millions of Malaysian food videos out there..
make sure you like & subscribe!! 🙏🏾

Hmmm this actually looks pretty nice! 🔥
Jalan Alor is for tourists therefore the prices are 2-3x higher than usual. Locals don't usually go there to eat.
Where do the locals go??
