i find it hard to believe they have no footage of his movement on the ship.... i hope he is found safe
Outdated carnival ship I bet there 20 cameras on the ship that flat out don't work let alone good enough cameras to catch something falling off in the night.
Exactly my job has cameras everywhere and I just found out none of them work!
I’ve been on one of these cruise ships with my parents when I was a teenager. It’s a HUGE ship, and we often went off on our own, only meeting up for meals. It would take a few hours to realize someone in your party is missing.
This case feels like foul play. I hope he’s found, and my thoughts and prayers are with the family
Sound organ trading 💯 its real and its a problem in this country

Smells like man overboard to me bobby
@@timsoslimey8678Exactly!!!!😢
@@timsoslimey8678unfortunately that was my first thought and if that's is my first thought then what the heck of a planet do I live on ☹️
Weird how all the cameras could not locate him
When your tryna cover up something then yea.. makes sense
They were not functioning probably like they didn't in Epstein's prison wing.
@jessicak958 Not everyone has access. And the captain if he does has a priority to make sure things run smoothly. Overboard cameras do not cover rooms/hallways.
Why? Rooms are not covered. Neither are certain areas.
@@carlose6010 😧 for real.. they don’t cover hallways.. that seems so unsafe. That’s crazy
If you research how many people disappear off cruise ships, its alarming. Wear a tracking tag or never be alone on one. Always roam the ship with someone.
Does the tracking tag work under water?
Just dont go on cruises would be the logical decision.
What if that someone is the reason you missing
@davidgray1515 Why is that? People go missing on land all the time, and shot, and stabbed, and other things.
It’s alcohol and highwinds, not too hard to fall off trust me
This is terrible. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
❤
It should've been that sister that gone overboard instead 🤣😂
Its actually really hard to find people on a ship. Cell phones dont work and the ship is HUGE. It would take a long time to realize the person isn't just somewhere else on the ship. So sad. Im surprised they dont have a way to detect a person falling off the ship and catch it all clearly on camera. This poor guys family. ❤
Went on to Celebrate with family for his Dad’s Birthday. Now the family may be planning a Home-going ceremony for the the son. Jesus, ALMIGHTY GOD OF GODS!!! Please help this young man’s family cope, and find Kevin. 💙🙏🏾🥲
I don't know about cameras, but cruise ships are alerted by a trigger when someone falls overboard. I learned that when reading about this incident.
This is a nightmare and so sad
If he was last seen going to his cabin, he's definitely on CCTV. There are cameras EVERYWHERE. Chances are, they already know what happened.

There's another YT video of a guy who was caught trying to throw his girlfriend overboard - thankfully, people saw it and stopped him. Between people getting drunk and falling overboard and people intending to kill, cruise ships can be dangerous places. On cruises, stay with the people who love you and make sure they always know where you are. I pray they find this man alive.
I was thinking this too, that if he fell overboard (or was pushed) out in the middle of nowhere, no one would ever know.
Being stuck on a cruise ship sounds like Hell, too many people, too many germs, probably too many freaks!
You would think people are safe on a Cruise ship because there’s nowhere to go but overboard.
There are also instances of women being kidnapped and trafficked, never to be seen again.
They should have every bit of the sides of the ship covered by cctv, so they can see if someone did infact go overboard. Im sure any salt spray could be manually wiped off the lenses or made to be self-cleaning.
I just dont understand how they dont know if he went overboard!
The company doesn't want to be held liable.💰
I’d ask the brother again to recall events, since he’s the last one to have seen him
RIGHT!
they were probably drunk. Google how many times this has happened
He looked drunk in that last video of him.
I love black women have been with many..👍
I don't think that is drunk that's too contained, I think he was slipped something if you look at the lady that's missing off the riverboat she was dancing by herself too,
My sympathy and thoughts are with his family. This is absolutely sad.
He absolutely went overboard who will ever know if it was an accident suicide or foul play? Alcohol could definitely be another factor but if he’s not on the ship he’s a thousand percent in the water.
If he’s not on the ship, we’re not going to hear nice news.
Yep my thoughts too 💔
.... listen, I might just be sick. Lol.... but it's not that hard to disguise a body, and move it off the ship at landing. Js.

@@KrazyDiamond22because throwing someone overboard, in the middle of the night, where there would surely be no trace isn’t an option
Looks and sounds like he’s a loved man. Hope everything works out.
I don’t know why cruises still don’t have cameras on the ledges
They need to sign waivers. Not responsible for accidents while you're on board.
I hope this never ends up as one of those Mr Ballen stories where he went somewhere and got lodged between something and couldn’t attract attention quick enough. My thoughts are with the family. If you go on a cruise, don’t explore on your own.

It sounds and looks as if he may have gone overboard and alcohol may have been involved. Hopefully a miracle occurs and he is found alive.
Yup
That is the usual cause . Drinking too much and falling over board .

There are cameras everywhere on Carnival. So now they say his keycard was used at 330am to enter room. His "cabinmate" saw him at 7am in room. What do cameras show in hallway? And who was cabinmate?
WAT DO YOU MEAN HE ISN'T OVERBOARD IF HE ISNT ON THE SHIP HE IS IN THE OCEAN
This is a serious situation but your all caps comment made me laugh….. this is bad.

Sorry, not in the ocean.
I'm not mocking anyone, but no.
It's a tragedy.
I was on a cruise not long ago,. And a boy around 6 years old entered a bar area and asked for a soda. I guess he noticed his family wasnt with him and panicked. He asked us for help. My friend took him to find his family. He couldn't tell us his room number. Nor did he have a name badge. I understand kids can roam. But, I dont understand how parents dont keep tabs on their kids. Predators are lurking. The crazy thing my friend said the parents didn't even say thank you. They just yelled at the kid. And, women also need to be careful on these cruises especially during graduation season. Crazy--but some folks think anything goes. And the more they drink the crazier it gets.
I’ve been on 28 cruises. You don’t just fall off. Something happened.
That’s what I’m thinking too..
My prayers go out to the family. I pray he is safe and they locate him soon.
I’ve been on carnival multiple times , they have a bunch of security and cameras. Idk how things like this continue to happen . I’m starting to believe there is more to these disappearances . Like a corrupt organization or something.
This is so heartbreaking. I have a son his age. This just does not make any sense. The FBI needs to get involved. Praying he is safe.😭🙏🏼
This is crazy and how does someone just disappear on a cruise???!!! SMH!!! I hope they find him unharmed and safe!!! I'm sure his family is going crazy not knowing where he is!!!
Evil World we live in
I’m literally on a carnival ship as we speak. Scary
How is it
I think a lot of people fail to grasp how incredibly difficult it is to locate something as small and physically (insignificant) as a human body, - 95% of which would be under water of course..As a Navy veteran myself, I can attest to the inscrutable nature of the open ocean - vast, deep, and un-fathomable. And believe me, just because there are “cameras” everywhere - does not guarantee anything. I used to imagine going overboard on my ship, the USS Tarawa, late at night, while on watch ? If it happens , especially at night .. You are LOST. Done. There’s dark, and then there’s darkness at sea which is somehow deeper and fearful than on land. You won’t be spotted and the ship floats along at say, 10, 15 knots. Never say never of course but odds of survival are not favorable in any situation involving man overboard at sea.
nope google Amy Bradley. human trafficking business. with him they prob want his organs
I know that’s right so sad bless.
Oh that is so tragic & even more scary out in the ocean the way you describe it , how dark & cold it is & how alone you are,
I hope that death comes quickly to anyone who falls or is pushed off a ship, since the chances of being found are extremely rare
Maybe they will smell his dead body then if they can't find it. That odor will definitely show you where he's at.
My sentiment! I feel he fell overboard. Very sad situation!
He either went overboard or got himself into a situation where he is stuck on the ship... but I don't know where that would be. (by stuck i mean locked in a room or lodged himself in between something on accident)
or lifeboat or fridge or cooler?
@@PulledPorkGarage Very possible.
Or he got himself OUT of a situation
So sad but could be true. When intoxicated you can get yourself in precarious situations especially if you're alone. I hope they find him.
Why would he do that? Just like the young boy in Atlanta who rolled himself up in a mat and removed his organs? Be logical
They need more cameras on these boats
Just put a security locator tag on all cruise ship people especially Carnival.
That'll fly. 😂🤣😂🤣

How would you feel if Carnival were tracking you via G.P.S. ? Secondly, the batteries in the bracelet would have to be charged regularly because of power drain.
Yeah that isn’t happening
I think he may have gone overboard in a spot where the cameras didn't catch it!
A very sad story. When my adult daughter and I took my mother on a cruise for her 80th birthday, we were never out of each other's sight as we had heard that people going missing on cruise ships is a rather common occurrence and there is not a lot of law on the high seas. Therefore, the 3 of us stayed together like 3 peas in a pod! LoL!
I agree, stick together. 24 of us went on a cruise this year to celebrate my sister's birthday. We were always together in a group of 3 or more.
A lot of people have gone missing or killed from cruise ships.
They need to have some kind of tracking device on people like apple tag
It is easy for someone to be thrown over board, late at night, when they didn't have cameras or witnesses around
So many have been killed that they made a tv show called killer cruise video below

What the hell?! Why do people keep disappearing on these cruises?
People can’t control themselves when it comes to alcohol. Be responsible and don’t drink and wander all over the place if you’re gonna get wasted. Likely that’s what happened. Too much booze and fell overboard.

This is why I’m scared to ever get on any type of boat or cruise. I seen way too many stories of people mysteriously going missing or mysteriously dying with only limited if at all camera footage, but I really hope they find him
If you go overboard it is either because you jumped, tossed or was doing something really stupid. It does not accidently happen.

No one knows how to do news reporting anymore. These stories are so incomplete it's ridiculous.
THAT'S TRUE
There's no way Carnival doesn't already have sort of an idea of what happened. None of these reporters think to ask if he was in a room with a balcony? Was his phone left behind or did he take it? Everyone packs a backpack at the very least the night before dissembarcation....was it left or was it taken. All this would explain if he fell off a balcony in his room or if he actually left the room and something else happened. Cruise ships rake in so much money. It wouldn't break their bank to mount a few video cameras to film all the places someone could accidentally fall overboard. :(
It’s a difficult environment to keep lenses clean enough to be useful long term plus people don’t want to feel like they are being watched when on vacation. Radar could probably detect a falling person and would be less obtrusive and more weather resistant.
I’m guessing your not a cruiser. Cruise ships do have abundant cameras throughout every ship.
They're monitored a whole lot more than you know. They even have cameras on the side of the ship for the express purpose of someone going over the side.
@@ericf7063 Thank you Eric, so shouldn't they have all sides monitored and already have it absolutely settled whether he went over the side or not? There'd be no reason to have gap areas with no cameras

Either he went overboard after drinking too much having no clue what he’s doing, or an unfortunate accident where he slipped and went overboard or he committed suicide by going overboard or someone has evil intentions to make him disappear. It is impossible for him to be trapped on the cruise ship as there is no way he could be held hostage as they do a thorough search and ensure everyone is accounted for. No one disappears from a ship! He either never got on the ship or fell overboard.
He was on the ship (according to his brother who last saw him at 2am the day he was reported missing), so he must've fallen overboard. Or, he is still on the ship, stuck somewhere. He could've been killed or OD'd on drugs and someone hid his body. The crew did a search of the ship, but I'm sure that was a quick, general search, not a thorough search. It would take several days to do a complete, thorough search of a ship that size.
bizarre, I hope they get the answers they deserve
Sounds like foul play. People don't just vanish like this on a cruise.
Cruise ships need cameras everywhere. They need to start putting up safety netting so people can't fall overboard. Or they need some kind of system to make sure people don't fall off the ship. I hope he is found & I'm so sorry he is lost!

How is every inch of these ships outside of cabins not covered by video cameras? Far too often I see stories like this where someone just "vanishes". No one should "vanish" on a cruise ship. Hes either still on it, or fell overboard...and its inexcusable that they apparently have no idea which it is.
If his movements couldn't be tracked everywhere he went on the ship, then there's not enough cameras.
HE'S NOT EVEN ON SURVIALENCE? ODD
This is always happening on Carnival.
Every single one of those balconies attached to rooms, where a person can fall or be pushed over board, needs to have a camera.
As much as I like the idea, I also enjoy my privacy on the balcony.
Or....wild idea here....people can keep their privacy they paid for and stay back from the railings! Maybe not get sh*t faced to the point of being unable to distinguish a railing.
@MJ-gj6mj,
Yes that and suicide is a possibility. I forgot about this guy. I’m going to google him and see if anything came up.
@@bonnielee316 Pls update if anything has changed. I have learned no cameras were in the hallways or clubs on this ship? Now that blows my mind.
@MJ-gj6mj,
Ok. But first let me tell you that it’s easy to do a google search and put Kevin Mcgrath in the search bar then read several quick articles on it.
I didn’t hear about there not being cameras in the bar and other places. Out of all places, a bar should have cameras.
I read that: he has a twin brother. That they were sharing a room. That the twin brother last saw Kevin at 2:00 a.m. I don’t know where but I’m going to assume, at the bar. Why? Because the door accepts a card to open it and it was opened by, presumably, Kevin at 3:30 a.m. so I can assume that Kevin continued to drink then went to his room. I can assume that the brother slept through that since he says that he last saw him at 2:00 a.m. I can also assume that the brother did not see Kevin, in the cabin room, upon waking up due to him stating that he last saw him at 2:00 a.m. in my opinion that means that Kevin either committed suicide, off of the balcony, drunkenly fell off of the balcony or was pushed by his brother off of the balcony and the brother is lying or, slipped back out of the room and something else happened to him.
So Kevin was only 26 years old. He has a police record of assaulting his wife and threatening to kill her and the kids. For that, they put him on probation for six years! Also he was not paying his probation costs of like 200 or 400 a month, I presumed, which tripped me out! Holy crap that’s expensive and he’s stuck paying that for six years?!
So he moved in with his parents, I take it that being married or divorced, possible alimony, child support, on two kids, and probation fees was sinking him and he’s got nothing to show for it but to have to move back in with his parents must have been depressing to say the least. So, he had to get permission to move, from the probation officer, and they ok’d it. Also, he moved states. He was in the military for six years, I think.
He was supposed to ask permission, from his probation officer, to go on that cruise. In my opinion, breaking probation could mean jail time, I don’t know but who knows if he knew that or not. He does have a reason to want to commit suicide though. Or he has a reason to avoid camera detection and be the first one off of the ship to hide out and plan his wife’s murder, undetected and then stay on the run. That’d be an interesting theory.
So apparently the cruise ship has an overboard detection sensor. They say that he was not detected going overboard. They say that they are cooperating with the police. The family says that the cruise ship is not releasing that information to the police, so that’s all very strange. I can assume that people like to use a cruise ship as a means to off themselves or they have drunken accidents. There are 19 overboards a year and only four get rescued.
It could be that the cruise ship is covering up due to negligence. Maybe the instruments did detect an overboard and maybe someone in charge decided to ignore it, to not have to bother with it. The cruise ship may be covering up so as to not get sued, who knows?
Cameras protect the cruise ship. I’m pretty sure they have them and they gave the footage over to the cops.
The family asked the cruise ship and the cops if they could put sniffer dogs on board to search for the brother but the request was ignored. To me, that means that the cop is keeping information close to the vest and the family is not privy to information.
All I know is that this must be one helluva story since it’s getting attention and another overboard, that happened two weeks prior, is not. The two weeks prior one was a 19 year old. Probably a drunken fall and maybe witnesses or cameras caught that one.
The cruise ship must get sued a lot. I wonder if people have to sign a waiver not to sue, in certain circumstances.
If they were out at sea and he can't be located on the ship the only other place would be he's in that ocean...duuuuh, smh! He sure didn't vanish into the air! And how in the world could you see someone in the ocean if you're up in a helicopter?🤔🤔🤷🏽♀️

Very sad. Hope he turns up well.
So there's no footage of him leaving the cabin at all?
Beautiful man 😢
There’s a whole series on Prime Video about cruise 🚢 ship murders and disappearances. It’s really sad. I hope they find out what happened soon.
While that show is entertaining almost every single one of those episodes are widely embellished. While there have been murders at sea usually by someone close to the victim often times it’s just an accident due to being intoxicated or suicide.
