@@daishanaaykelly9563 Not necessarily true. Idk why I'm commenting on something years later, but I wanted to put my two cents in lol. I work as a stage actor professionally and there have been a few moments in my career where I've been lucky enough to have a similar type of moment that Joey has here. Where I'm allowed to just say, at one particular moment in the show, whatever I want and hope that it's funny. Since I knew that moment was coming, some days I'd brainstorm all day trying to think of something that would both make my cast and the audience laugh. But also, some days, I'd just wing it and say whatever came to my mind at the time. So he very well could have thought of this (and the other versions) RIGHT on the spot then and there. But more than likely, each time this scene came, he probably thought of it at least a little bit before hand.
in the studio version the line is “Well, yknow, I got inspired when you sung it so..” - GSG “Oh, Thank you” - Father not sure if that’s what the actual script is but that’s the “official” line
Nova Langley he said he might name his show how to succeed in business without really trying and that’s the name of a broadway show a former starkid/joey’s old college roommate started in (darren criss)
okay, given this was published July 3, I'm pretty sure the names were Tony Shalhoub (Father), Brooke Adams (Mother), Lula (Daughter), Default (Son), Sidney Sidney (Grandpa)
@Martha McKinney-Perry I'm a little late but it's the part with "how to succeed in business without really trying" it is a show that Darren was with in
oh did he improv this differently every night? Cool!
Joey's such a good actor 😂😂😂
Oh, this is a good one. I wonder if he thinks this up before each show or if he really does think this up on the spot.
On the spot for sure
On the spot that's why it's called improv

I'm pretty sure Corey had to look down so he could stop himself from laughing
Do they even have a script for this part, all I've ever seen is Jeff being shocked and amused by whatever Joey says
anti-social-headphone-kid it's improved for every show

I actually had to pause the video and give myself a few minutes at the "How to Succeed" joke oh my god
Thank you so much for uploading this
DracøTheFerret What was it 😂

grayyears last name?
i love his face when he says "MY show" xD
IN DEPENDENCE SAME PICTURE BRO
omg your pics, i'm crying 😂
I bet the entire cast loved the time where Joey gets to improvise.
I love how they always make joke about Darren
Probably a dumb question, but which part was a reference to Darren?
@Martha McKinney-Perry I'm a little late but it's the part with "how to succeed in business without really trying" it is a show that Darren was with in
Also in the filmed version, they mention that Joey played Tony in West Side Story, and Darren played Tony in McKinley's production of WSS in Glee
I honestly didnt even realise
@@benlutostanski7755 eh I don’t that was a Darren reference.
I wonder when he was asking if he owns the rights to the song if he was talking to the Father or Jeff cnhsdbcac
Probably Jeff, because he wrote the show.
i used to be in an amino group chat with you which i had completely forgotten about and also its not relevant but. hey
@@ilexdiapason HI KAS!!!!
@@ilexdiapason Yo do you want to be in our discord chat Marcy/Space really wants to talk to you
Thank you so much for putting this up
Oh my god thank you
Anyone know where I can find the livestream version of the show?
it sounds more like he wrote a different gag for each night istg
What names were they given for this show lmao
I think his first line is a bit planned but from there 🤷 and Jeff has no idea where it's going
I think since Jeff always says something like that, it may be planned to say „went for it“ and that‘s Joey‘s cue to improvise
The one dislike is the ox.... because..... why not.... IDK I COULDNT THINK OF SOMETHING
Thanks, Hermione!
This is all your could, Ja’far
Did they use different names in this version of the show?
They used different names every night - the audience picks names at the beginning.
Sorry I should have been specific, what names were they given?
