I think the genre has a large part to do with it. Because if it was a very serious play or a traditional play that everyone knew, you would panic a lot more 😃
Theres like one moment right when he says "ha!" That is the face of a man who knows what he's about to do is going to absolutely ridiculous looking but can't stop now
My FAVORITE Oregon blooper was Corey's. When he takes the kids hunting, he grabs the gun from Jaime to hand it to Lauren, but Lauren pulled his beard off with it and then he says "Don't tell nobody!". Then later in the show, in the bar scene with Jeff, Jeff starts to tug at his beard and Corey reaches up to adjust it and Jeff says "It's fine, Grandpa, I know it's a fake beard!" It sounds boring in text but it was SO funny in person!
It's hilarious, because Jeff wasn't even there, but he caught wind of the blooper and ran with it. There was an Aladdin musical somewhere when the genie's beard came off and it became his running gag the entire show! (TOP THEATER BLOOPERS PT 2 youtube video at 5:23).
Katy Bella I knowww hahaha I love bloopers like these. Like that one time in AVPSY when the diary was supposed to be the one talking to Harry but Joe forgot and he went like "oh shit" and Darren couldn't take it and they were laughing. hahahaha team starkid is the best
@@la-lv4fq oh, it was because they forgot a desk when hermione found out so joe had nowhere to hide, so he just made up the death note rules lol. it was improv on darrens part lmao
I saw it at the Cherry Lane theatre. That was SO much fun! But they had one blooper I can't forget. Cletus came out, but he still had Grandpa's beard on, and slowly had to take it off and kick it to the side as the scene progressed.
I just don't understand how could Joey mess that up, because he wasn't playing the mother, it's not like he forgot to change costumes, he just went on stage completely randomly
Darren Criss is totally awesome have you ever been part of a play or musical? After a while, everyone knows each other’s lines. Maybe it was his cue and instead of waiting for the mother to say it, he accidentally went on stage to say the line himself.
@@bojonne Yes, I've been in a play before and yes, I also remember everyone's lines, but it never happened to me that I would say them randomly. I always know which ones are mine and where to speak, it just feels weird to me, to mess it up, but Joey had a lot of lines and characters in this, so it kind of makes sense
I just love how, of all the ridiculous things Jeff Blim has seen and done in these shows, the one thing to make him break is Joey Richter panicking and saying “Ho ho ho ho ho”
I can't believe they didn't talk about when they were filming with the Dickrats family (the show that's posted) that same night they were doing another ending for youtube so you can pick which version you want to see. Joey came out still in the Drs outfit when he was supposed to be the ox and was like "I DIDN'T KNOW WE WERE GOING TO THE END!!!" Everyone, cast included, burst into laughter.
Puzzle Peace Gaming yes but there is another line where she just mumbles it. So she mumbled it because she didn’t know the lyrics and then she did it again because it was part of the song? I’m confused😅
I thought that "Ox like me" seemed a bit out of place xD Also, I love how Joey is the cause of most of the bloopers here. Silly ol' Joey, forgetting words in a song, replacing them with a bunch of "Hohohoho"s, then ending with an "Ox like me!", causing that section to make absolutely no sense. xP
The “Ox like me” part makes so much more sense knowing he was supposed to be saying something there cause I didn’t know that and was definitely confused haha
I hate musicals. Hate plays. Hate them. Loathe them. Because of stuff like this. I suffer acutely from second-hand embarrassment. And watching this made me slightly queasy, no exaggeration. My theathre geek friends all say that the bloopers, the mistakes, the failed props are what they live for. That knowing something can go wrong at any time is why they love being in theatre. They're sick, sick people. Anyhow, despite sharing the disdain that Paul feels in TGWDLM, I LOVE Starkid. Discovered them with Harry Potter (the original unedited version), and I said, "Wait, I actually like this." But it ended there. And now, I somehow rediscovered them and went through the entire channel. Turns out, Oregon makes me so damn happy. It's a happiness I can't explain. I mean, I HATE westerns! But this play...I watch it every day. It's something my mom (rip) would have bought front row tickets for. It's oddly Disneyesque. I HATE Disney, but she loved it and so I...I'm so messed up in the head. I love Oregon, period. (And TGWDLM and Black Friday.)
Please make more of these. I DIED. R.I.P Sanne, Great Starkid Fan, died of laughing at Joey singing 'Hohoho' and Jeff's face. What a great gravestone would that be...
I went and saw you guys on the last night! It was wonderful and I loved every moment of it even though I didn't want to go in the first place. My friend dragged me there. I am so happy she did! The long drive was so worth it even though when we were waiting for everyone to come out it ended up pouring. I hope to see you guys again in the future!
Me watching the last blooper clip over and over again cuz I love seeing Jeff Blim break character and I live for stage bloopers? It’s more likely than you think.

I love how Jeff isn't panicking AT ALL when Joey forgets the lines, he's just loving every second of it.
Jeff's grin is the most precious thing on the planet!
@ChocoGamin3 it can be both!
I think the genre has a large part to do with it. Because if it was a very serious play or a traditional play that everyone knew, you would panic a lot more 😃
I'm so glad there's footage of it, I can't get enough of that!
I'll be honest, the song is so chaotic I thought that that was on purpose
I don't know if I'm laughing more at Joey's actual panicked singing in that last clip or Jeff's face :D
Both? Both.

honestly that one blooper is my favorite thing Starkid has ever put on the internet
AND HIS SMALL QUIET LAUGH IN THAT PART TOO OMG

Can someone find the clip or a compilation for me?
AnimeLover930 Lauren Manion posted a video called Starkid fails and it's there
@@werewolfmcwerewolf1795 Yeaaaah but like the part with jeff! or is that not on video?

What's the blooper? I haven't watched trail to oregon enough

True. He didn't have that big of a window to figure out what to do.
Jeff laughing at Joey when he was going 'hohoho'
I wish they filmed when the Ox came out with the Mike's Hards! It would have been much funnier HAHAHAHA
I would pay to see it!!
This is why Joey Richter is the best human being in the world.
You can see the moment of just pure GLEE in Jeff’s eyes when he realizes what Joey did and it’s fanTASTIC 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You did NOT just use a Glee pun on a Starkid video
ok but jeff’s face during that little blip of when joey messed up is literally my favorite thing in a while
