I did end up returning the jeans at Savers! Well, exchanging actually, they only do exchanges which was fine because I found something else that I would actually wear instead! I'll show it in a future thrift haul 💕

A size 5 (the shorts) is like a size 27 equivalent! It’s just juniors sizing!
In the US we use sizing like that (size 5)! Not the actual waist size in inches!
For sheer slip dresses I wear a T-shirt underneath and a slip skirt. Easy to find a slip skirt at the thrift and the double layer is v cute

Love the little butter yellow slip dress! Snag Tights sells bike shorts that are made out of a really durable tights material, they come in various nude shades and would probably work under the dress! Bonus they are super comfy!! I hope you are setting into your new home well! 😊

So much fun! I actually volunteer at a thrift store in my small town. Very dangerous. I rarely pay for anything and no clothing is over $10 anyways. Dresses are $2.50. Hey Alexa, would love to see some of the smaller thrift stores there. Do they still have them in Silverlake? I know there are still some good ones in Burbank and Reseda used to have fantastic ones as well.
I'm also a volunteer at a thrift store :D It's honestly so much fun, and I always have first pick because we go through all the donations that people do. Love ittt

I always used to find cute slips and pass them up because I never wear them out but then I started buying them to wear them to bed! They are actually very comfortable nightgowns lol

I've had a slipdress for the longest time, I used to wear it to sleep but it just isn't comfy enough for someone who moves so much while sleeping. I have been playing with the idea of wearing as a dress dress and not a sleep dress but haven't dared to make the jump. I think after watching so many of yours and Carrie's videos wearing them like that, that I think I'm gonna make the jump and try :3

I think the reason that champion was priced high is because they know its vintage champion? It also could be that it’s a reverse weave and those are often more pricier online 😄✨

Savers completely took out all of theirs! But I believe some goodwills still have their dressing rooms and they are open!
the size 5 shorts are juniors sizes, not kids, juniors sizes are odd number and misses sizes are even numbers.
How come the dressing rooms are still closed? Haven't all covid restrictions been lifted long ago in the US?
They reopened at my local thrift store and it's just sooo nice to be able to try things on... Definitively saved me from many potential thrift fails
They took them completely out! I believe some goodwills and other thrift stores have opened there’s! Savers just got rid of them so no dressing rooms there ever again.

I do sometimes! Not any that I love, although one time I found this really awesome home decor piece from the Anime Fairy Tail that I watch, but it was damaged 💔 I do find a lot of Naruto stuff though!

I can't believe how expensive your savers is! Is Goodwill any cheaper or do you have one in your area? I live in Indianapolis and our prices are half of what yours are or less. I am blessed that I have a thrift shop that most clothes, purses, and shoes are a dollar except some things are higher if they are new and they get new things from Amazon. This is a church run thrift store so I would look for one of those in your area. I got a pair of Frye boots for a dollar there.😀 If you are ever in Indy let me know, we have so many good thrift stores and there's so many yard sales too.
Everything is just more expensive in Southern California including our thrift store prices.
