Next time spend at least a few minutes showing both the front and rear of the interior. We want to see the instrument cluster, the steering wheel, the dash, the doors, the seats and the headlining. Demonstrate the hydraulic windows and seat adjustments. Show us the open glove box and the rear center armrest.
These engines need leaded gas in them. This car went many years without leaded gas and it will affect the engine. every time you have a classic car such as this one you have to add the LEAD substitute to each fill up.
Just another used car sales person, bad pics and no doubt a bad deal. He didn't even vacuum the interior!! I guess with this ripoff guy he considers 1949 dirt and dust to be "Original", no doubt spiders and bugs as well.

You can put a paint job on a corpse....Let's see ALL of the rest of the vehicle!
It sounds SICK. My guess is that the block needs a TOTAL overhaul to get a better fit .
Beautiful sounding engine! Beautiful looking car!
I think power steering became standard with the 1952 models.
BEAUTIFUL!
The 1949 Cadillac had a flat L head engine!
Superb!
I have a 49 if anyone needs parts or the whole car . Has everything on it right down to the Hubcaps.
Scratchankle do you still have it?
Where was it kept? Had to have been stored climate controlled for exterior to look that good. Nice paint job would've liked a peek at the interior .
Beautiful looking car. I've always liked original survivor cars. I take it you've already sold the car.
Did I hear you say "60 series?" Why do they bother with the numbers?
But no tinted windows. Some 49's have cool green tinted glass. Was it optional at that time?
When did Cadillac begin installing power steering in their cars? Does anybody know?
does Miss Daisy come with it?
I bet it took you all day to come up with that. So funny no one laughed. Caddies rule!
Series 60, not "Sixty Serious."
IMHO Sixty Serious Repairs on the mechanical end
and no center console
Damn
So... what ever happened with this car?
How much for it?

Mes goûts bisards: je préfère une Jeep de 1942 à 1945, c'est plus sport.
