this song is too melodically generic & predictable though. most "retro" throwbacks just cop the surface level aesthetics / tones of what they're ripping off, but forget the "write an interesting composition" part, or "be original". This sounds like background music in a TV commercial. The bar is so low for modern music, this is considered mindblowing. Sad state.

In the 80s it would have been a worldwide hit and wouldn't go off the top of the charts for months. It's so cool that it could be the best song of 2023

@@lanier1000 I don't understand how you don't understand that the fodder that makes the charts are always the easy sell-typical, unchallenging, basic, often annoying things that generally are all typical love-crap or "songs" about dancing. @kyachdistent1301 Madonna was not the problem imo - at least she had some rebelliousness (and some talent). It's the industry; they want the safe bet - with as little risk as possible. Most everything now is safe, or with a fake veneer of edgy-ness around it....but if it sells that's all that matters to the people creating these stars. I also think a lot of these musicians are trying to make it by following the rules....instead of shunning the industry and doing something different that makes them stand out. Fabulous Pop-Rock that brings back the 80s vibes with a tremendously written and performed song - very memorable melodies and an impassioned performance - this song gives me so much energy. The only thing they got wrong was the year; they should have picked any year from 1979-1984. Pop-synth music, drum machines, etc. was dead by 1987. In 1987 hard rock was king. For example, the Monsters of rock tour was huge: Van Halen, Scorpions, Dokken, and Metallica. I know; I was there, in my 20s, and I was in a local rock band. I still enjoyed the song though.

I like the references ! The instrumentists are impressive. And the vocalist bring me memories of Doro, Stevie Nicks, Tahnee Cain, Debbie Harry and Bonnie Tyler, something like Laura Braningan in performance ! The clip was finely directed too ! Very cool !
hi, I'm writing to you from Italy 🇮🇹 I want to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, because I swear I have tears in my eyes. Diamond, you need to keep making songs with this musical sound, 80s synthwave melodic rock style. You gave me shivers and I went back in time. I have listened to your song several times. It's a masterpiece. I'm a singer-songwriter girl.
In 1987 I was 13 and when I listen to this I become 13 again. Never lose your spirit. Growing old sucks. Don t suck. Keep your groove alive. After all we re all gonna be a worm meal.
Thanks UA-cam ads! this girl's stage presence giving me strong young Laura Branigan vibes. I was just a kid in 1987, but i remember there was indeed plenty of dancing going on back then lol, i love this!

Dude! I was born in the 80’s! I’m 35 and the journey I’m having right now with this jam is amazing! Loving the revamp of the best music era nowadays! Totally nailed it!
I did not know what to expect when I clicked on this video. As a 54 year old man I grew up in the 80s, WOW you Rock 🎸 awesome vocals 👏 sounds like something I would have heard back then 💛
No there isn't. You can't put the so long it's long past dead dead music scene's long gone hopes on one well-done song. There's other songs as good as this, and even better done here and there in tiny numbers, and they haven't saved anything, cos you can't expect one pair of passenger pigeons to repopulate the planet-and we don't even have a pair here. The music scene died when the 90s came, it just got amazingly (or non-amazingly) worse each year, each decade. Anyway, according to the retarded world at large, nothing NEEDS saving. You have Swift, Styles, Adele, X Factor, Knowles, Rhianna, Timberlake, Bieber: all the pointless identikit mass-produced garbage, even the outdated unlikeable like of Bon Jovi still here and even slagdonna-purveyor of the killing plague with S/A/W that began the decline into the abyss and beyond is still not dead. According to well over 90% of the pointless human race, there's no NEED to save it, it's what they want and need. I'm with them on one thing only-it doesn't NEED saving cos it's long dead but this lot do NEED extermination! Either way, we've all failed, and this is the future...of nothing. Be proud, everybody, it's what you helped do. If you'd killed slagdonna from the get-go and Waterman and never let c/rap get beyond its tiny little boundary fence, we may have enjoyed a longer music scene before it all went to crap, but as one of the greatest bands ever sung in a 2011 top song-"This can only go one way..." It has!
Of course there's hope for music. Don't listen to the folks who said something like "People don't make good songs like these anymore nowadays". Music has always been subjective, remember that.
@@blackman5867 No it hasn't, it's usually been restricted to what it's "in to like", "in to dislike" and "listenable and liked in the year it's out and then not again" and of course to go with the crowd over "big-hitters" that are impossible to ignore as they're so plugged into your skull you can't avoid them (which should actually make them hateful, but with dumb people does the opposite, which is exactly the world we live in now). When people state that "no good songs being made today" it's a simple statement of truth, based on what their EARS and BRAINS tell them about the lowest common denominator-appealing unending tsunami of utter garbage that IS the long dead music scene. How can you not see that the world is so different now that the fact ANYONE can make it and ANYONE does is EXACTLY the problem, not least when everything was already done much much better yonks ago, what with there being no new thing under the sun at the very least. No one HAS to do anything to appeal to anyone now beyond flashing their bodies cos THAT is what the world looks up to. Making stupid sounds to go with it is just par for the crap course.
Everything in this clip is perfect. Both the soloist, her vocals, and her appearance are perfect. I'm from Russia, I appreciate it. Also respect to the film crew, musicians and director. Special respect to the producer. Everything is fine. Well done. Continue.
I forgot if I already commented on this video, but nonetheless, it bears repeating. If this video WAS made back in 1987, I'd have your poster on my wall and be pounding off to it on a daily basis. Now, as an older man, I just appreciate the attention to detail like the weird 80s style sunglasses and the spandex body suit and of course your singing voice. You nailed it!
I've been craving something with an 80s vibe lately- which is funny because I wasn't born until 93- and this perfectly scratched that itch. Hope the whole album has this vibe.
Everything is beautiful here: the music, the vocals, the picture, the vocalist (her hair is awesome!) It all has that 80's vibe I love so much, even though I'm a child of the late 90's♥♥♥
Try listening to Chez Kane's Tigress World Stage song "A Cappella". Chez is another young singer who loves 80s music. She has covered various 80s artists like Pat Benatar, Heart, Robin Beck, Patty Smyth (Scandal), etc. She got signed to the Italian record label Frontiers which releases a lot of new music by 70s and 80s artists as well as releasing new music that is 80s sounding by newer/younger artists.
This song sounds directly out of the 80's. It's like she combined A Flock of Seagulls, Billy Idol, Sheena Easton, and Michael Sembello into one artist. Absolutely fantastic.
UA-cam suggested this video and I'm so glad it did! This is the first song I've heard in a long time that checks all the boxes. Vocals, production, hook, energy, 80s rock, I could go on. You've got yourself a fan! Please keep going with this sound, it fits you perfectly!
i am amazed of what has become of the band! i remember the beginnings with "Coming in Hot". The video, the sound quality, the power of each band member is just brilliant! absolutely love the track. very well done. i knew this band would get big. just too powerful
Hello, I'm Brazilian and I love your music. I'm very happy that despite your success you haven't abandoned your essence. You truly inspire people with your simplicity and presence. Thank you very much for giving us your beautiful and inspiring voice. May God bless you with good health and wisdom.
Я тоже сначала подумал, что этот трек "оттуда" и начал ковыряться в памяти недоумевая, что до сих пор его не слышал. Но это новое, правда сделано настолько офигенно, что даже не придраться, как будто реально эта музыка из 1987-го года.
I love the aesthetics of the 80s and especially the music and movies that were made in this fantastic decade. In 1987, excellent musical works were recorded that have gone down in history. My favorite singers achieved their greatest hits in the 80s. I love that new artists bring the magical 80s to the present in a way. 🎶🕺🎶 💖 🤩
I absolutely love it. I was a teen in the 80s and you absolutely nailed the video feel an rhythm. But with that awesome modern edge. Congratulations. Take me back to the 80s any day ❤

I like the references ! The instrumentists are impressive. And the vocalist bring me memories of Doro, Stevie Nicks, Tahnee Cain, Debbie Harry and Bonnie Tyler, something like Laura Braningan in performance ! The clip was finely directed too ! Very cool !
More 80's than the 80's. You really hit the mark with this one. Love the energy and style.
I was lucky to be a teenager all through the 80s. perfect timing for age and music to meld.
This is a great surprise by the end of 2023. A breath of fresh air. Thank you, Diamante! Keep holding the torch of good and timeless music!
I love there music
80s - the best era of music. 😎
The best era of EVERYTHING.
And i'm NOT from 80'.
Haha
@@B.Pepper Indeed. When I see or hear 80's stuff I always get Anemoia (nostalgia for a time you’ve never known)

@@B.PepperYou do know :D
@@bennemans92 That's cos, musically, everything's been so appalling x infinity since the 80s left! And will continue to be till the world stops.
The 80s style really suits you and your voice. I hope you release more songs like this.
Not real
Yes please!
They did say "& THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING! 🤘🏻" here in the comments. 😀

I would say "God bless you!"
But He clearly already did!
Lovely Diamante! ❤
No Telegram, sorry... :-/
OMFG THANK GOD THE 80s are back. .y entire teens were the 80s as i was born in 70. I so miss that decade. Best ever
Yes! I want more of this 1987 stuff! This rocks! 💥🤘♥️
I never really listen to your music but I would be thirll to hear a 1987 style album.
Radical song. All of it. I was 16 and driving a red 1971 Firebird back in 1987. Rock on Diamante 🤘
hi, I'm writing to you from Italy 🇮🇹
I want to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, because I swear I have tears in my eyes.
Diamond, you need to keep making songs with this musical sound, 80s synthwave melodic rock style.
You gave me shivers
and I went back in time.
I have listened to your song several times.
It's a masterpiece.
I'm a singer-songwriter girl.
If you're listening to this in 2087 you're god-tier legendary
Oh my God! It's like some weird/wonderful alternate timeline where the 80s vibe never ended. Happy 198(44)!
Talk about an 80s pop rock song bringing nostalgia! Phenomenal song
Man I love stumbling upon random music videos at 2AM. This song especially kicks ass.
Ha! It's exactly 2 AM right now where I am and I'm having the same thought.
In 1987 I was 13 and when I listen to this I become 13 again. Never lose your spirit. Growing old sucks. Don t suck. Keep your groove alive. After all we re all gonna be a worm meal.
Nostalgia is a killer. Listening to Synthwave makes it worse. But it is such a sweet thing...
Боже, эта сверкающая воительница и ее музыка возвращает к жизни!!!!
Да!
Thanks UA-cam ads! this girl's stage presence giving me strong young Laura Branigan vibes. I was just a kid in 1987, but i remember there was indeed plenty of dancing going on back then lol, i love this!
It reminds me Transvision Vamp "Baby, I don't care" and Billy Idol "Dancing with myself" - very good songs 👍
I liked you a lot miss 😍Diamante👏...and if it's just the beginning as you said...😱 Who knows the album👏...1987 blonde hair like Farrah Fawcet...Flashdance onesies... the touch in blue 💎...but the FANTASTIC Voice with the perfect tone of a talented voice... Nice video Nice piece Really Well done everyone...80s the best of Rock Hard Rock
Never bought a MP3 in my life, but I did it especially for this song,
Great job! You're the best,
Hope to buy the album vinyl record soon.

If the US should ever do a guest entry to the ESC via PBS, something like this would be it. Absolutely love it.
Dude! I was born in the 80’s! I’m 35 and the journey I’m having right now with this jam is amazing! Loving the revamp of the best music era nowadays! Totally nailed it!
88? Me too
I like how they captured the 80's vibe with a modern twist love it.
i WANT MORE OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all day listening to this nostalgic glam synth rock!!!!
Born in 1981 and absolutely loved this! It just took me back and made me think about how much I wish this era was still around ❤80's🤘
Oh my Lord, this is SPECTACULAR!!! I hope it reaches the very top of the charts - you deserve no less.
I did not know what to expect when I clicked on this video. As a 54 year old man I grew up in the 80s, WOW you Rock 🎸 awesome vocals 👏 sounds like something I would have heard back then 💛
Absolutely love this song! The aesthetic, the groove, the solo, the voice! Gonna be stuck in my head for a long time.
Go girl!!!!! As a child of the 80s... you nailed it. ALLLLL OF IT. 💚💚🧜🏻♀🧜🏻♀💜💜
WTF !! There's a hope for music, keep it with this and save us!
@@blackman5867 I invite you and @migheltorres3358 to listen to my project Leatherjacks too =)
@@blackman5867- most shit these sucks.... this kicks ass though!
You nailed it!
i was a teen in the 80s i graduated in the 89/90 school year, 87 was a great year for me but i am an 84 guy at heart.
I've been craving something with an 80s vibe lately- which is funny because I wasn't born until 93- and this perfectly scratched that itch. Hope the whole album has this vibe.
Reminds me of Lita Ford. A great job on giving that 80's vibe feeling, loving every second from the song
This is everything perfect about the 80s and I am in love. ❤
It has very strong 1983 girl-rock vibes.
The energy in this song could power a city.
Omfg yes
I cannot for the life of me stop listening to this song. I hope this is not the last sparkling one :)
As someone who grew up on the 80s, I absolutely love this!! You're so awesome Diamante!!
Everything is beautiful here: the music, the vocals, the picture, the vocalist (her hair is awesome!) It all has that 80's vibe I love so much, even though I'm a child of the late 90's♥♥♥
OMG.. I was bored and just clicked this and.... IMPRESSIVE, MOST IMPRESSIVE!
Everything about this clip is perfect.
1987? nailed it.
Wow I can't stop listening to this song. So glad Spotify recommended you to me you quickly became one of my favourite artists
Born in the 90's, singing about the 80's. Funniest thing though is that this seems like the most accurate to 80's modern retro music I've heard.
If Bonnie Tyler and Samantha Fox had a baby, it'd be this song.
This song is good and does sound very 80s.
I absolutely love this! Here’s me hoping a whole album is going to be 80’s 😂🔥 definitely getting the 80’s vibe here!
you just cannot ignore the relentless positive and energetic voyage that this song embarks the listener on
Какая прекрасная зажигательная песня и очень красивое видео и исполнительница!🎶🎵👍👍
Can't stop listening to this. Help please.
No.
This song sounds directly out of the 80's. It's like she combined A Flock of Seagulls, Billy Idol, Sheena Easton, and Michael Sembello into one artist. Absolutely fantastic.
nah, more like she mashed patty and lita
UA-cam suggested this video and I'm so glad it did! This is the first song I've heard in a long time that checks all the boxes. Vocals, production, hook, energy, 80s rock, I could go on. You've got yourself a fan! Please keep going with this sound, it fits you perfectly!
I just got the same!! I TOTES agree!!!! 👏👏👏

i am amazed of what has become of the band! i remember the beginnings with "Coming in Hot".
Take me back to the 80s any day ❤
This feels like a cold water splash in a goddammit hot day!!!
