I main the character and I’ve been there many times. Honestly I think since his gimmick is the belly armor the belly break mechanic is fine and balanced for a character to have a downside for that buff. But I do wish their were these kind of mechanics for other characters. Like arsene makes you hit like a truck but makes you as light as a pixie. Maybe not that exactly but you get my point. Risk and reward not 5.99 buys you S tier 😂

Something about this clip that I want to mention, because there's going to be someone asking about it: 3 sausages won't necessarily break the belly armor, but Mr. Game & Watch has a hitbox on the frying pan that's fairly strong. What happened here is that the K. Rool got close enough to Game & Watch to where the pan hitbox would hit him, causing the armor break.

Even for someone who throws out a bunch of belly armor moves, it breaking is pretty rare for me, so seeing it happen even in game always surprises me
it usually takes a lot of damage from smash attacks and multi hits due to how the belly armor works

Had to watch it back like three times. I don’t know for sure 😅 the dair must not have been “fully finished “ before the belly armor was broken. It’s a working theory but I’m still unconvinced cause yeah Sephiroth is light and should have gone much higher at 120%.
