Fantastic video - really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. This for me is what is lacking in some clubs. If you're a woman, your face doesn't fit etc (it's VERY bitchy where I live) then you get excluded from the helpers conversations, of how they work the dogs, of extra sessions the 'in' crowd organise - and your learning is limited. It's so good to get some ideas of things I can train independently at home that are important and WHY they are important and what to look for, so when I step on the hallowed turf of the training ground and the helper deigns to bestow his greatness upon me (while I kowtow) , at least I have an understanding of the theory and can make sure my young dog has a great preparation at home for making the most of working with the helper.
Your videos are a life saver for me, Thanks! I currently have an 8 month old Malinouis and 5 months ago I joined a club that does IGP. My problem is I am English speaking and I moved to Italy so the club is all in Italian… we are doing well and will get better but after finding your videos it has helped me to understand what I am supposed to do and what I am trying to see in my boy. You do all the same things I see at my class but you have put an explanation in for me… thank you and I am watching all your videos and working hard.
Thanks so much for this!! Really, I appreciate it. As someone who hasn't got a flippin clue what they're doing but who is so keen to start out, this is perfect. Thanks.
You know what..I've trained quite a few dogs. I've been complimented on how well trained my dogs have been. These videos are going to bring us to a whole new level. I learned so much. There are so many "tricks of the trade" that I was oblivious to. Thank you so much. I liked, prescribed and I will be buying courses in the future. Magnifique!
First source o Schutzhund that i've found out there and i was willing to start on this beautiful sport, I'm really thankful to you guys, you're the greatest and for sure that i'm going to be paying attention with each upload you have on your channel, keep like that, you're awesome guys.
Thanks for the info and hard work! I plan to start participating in these types of competitions as soon as Faraday is old enough! This is great for my beginning! 🐕 ❤️
Fantastic! I really enjoyed watching this, so much good information for those of us just starting out. You made it very interesting and definitely know your stuff! Thank you so much!
Very informative. My husband is my helper. We work together and we always have trouble getting that rhythmic barking. He has good prey. How do we improve and can we improve when my dog has grown up with the “helper” as the alpha in the home?
When you are demonstrating the Transport with the first puppy it sounds like you are saying "Mark" to cue the dog looking before the release. The next puppy clip shows you saying "Transport" before movement and release. Are you using 2 different commands? One for a stationary watch cue and then the "Transport" command layered in when adding motion?
I really enjoyed this video. I have a dog; 17 months and she is eaten up with prey drive (OCD) and LOVES protection work. I am working with her on barking. We are making progress. Do you have a video that addresses that in more detail?
So how do you switch between prey and defense for the dog to understand? If I understand correctly your dog will switch from aggression to prey when helper is backing up and start a chase behavior and also how to get the rithmic barking when the helper is steady sorry for the storm of questions thanks for your videos
Love the way you explain, even a really "new" beginner can understand :D!!
Love your stuff ❤️

Yeah. Eventually for sure. Now we have it in our help your helper course
Fantasiric
Can a dog be active in aggression but in a defensive mindset?

Why using an e-collar? It is not needed if you train your dog the right way and take more time for the excerise to learn.
