Concern here about that "INT" ( it is called different things in different institutions, but essentially it is an IV that is flushed and capped off to be available if needed. There can be MANY reasons for it, but it's presence would indicate a more medically fragile infant. (It's use is not generally standard procedure for all infants.) Annd, it's a 5 day old still in hospital. Keep going, Little One!

My 1st child was doing all sorts of things my midwife was surprised at but I assure you I would have waited till I calmed down and then. Told her never to touch my child again. Some of these paediatric doctors and nurses are to heavy handed. It’s disgusting.
Why is the baby still in thr hospital? I don't think tummy time is beneficial until the baby can hold their head up. Also, durin tummy time the arms are supposed to be in front and under the chin between the chest & chin and between shoulders NEVER with arms to the side.
