before he went he definitely showed - something - a lot in fact - I put that line in my igh school yearbook as my saying "before I go I got to show something". Dan would live another 45 years but sadly went. I saw him 7 years ago slowly exit his dressing room before a gig and could tell he was in bad health, or just getting old, but when he hit the stage he might as well have been 30 again. He left his ailments in the dressing room. Vivando is my favorite. And he had vivando that night. Love dan. RIP
Wow , harmony , fantastic lyrics , music cords that fit the feeling of all they were saying ... Dan Hicks .... cowboy swing samba....
Is this not one of the most chill songs you've ever heard? Sets my heart a-reelin'
Reeling down? lol

Thank you Dan ....I’ve pickup your heart beat....keeping you alive...
always remembered and never forgotten = thank you dan.
But before he went, he really showed something
I'll never forget the concert where I was in the front row. Dan got angry at the audience, exposed himself and stormed off the stage.
When and where did that take place ? I am not surprised Dan was flippant if he was anything. Just curious, thank you.
It was in Newport, Oregon, in the early '90s...'92 or so. He seemed to be very intoxicated.
he regretted those actions , trust me.... Dan died clean and sober
@@dupreeblues4744 I pray he enjoyed some peace and serenity.
as it turns out, today was ~ r.i.p.
