How feasible could it be that there are 2 pyramids in Russia that are older than the ones found at the Giza Plateau in Egypt?
Is this evidence of the existence of a previously unknown ancient civilization in the territory of Russia that dates a lot further back than what we currently consider possible?
The claim is made that the existence of the Legendary Hyperborea is now confirmed, that the Kola Peninsula has now become a Mecca for researchers and hunters for scientific discoveries.
So is it possible that there are 2 ancient pyramids at least 25,000 years old in Russia? or are they just mountains? are they even located in Russia?

well, Klee, that was fun! you expressed your beliefs on this so nicely, yet firmly. i'm in complete agreement. i live about 35 miles from Glacier Nat'l Park in Montana, USA. there are mtns there that are shaped almost exactly like these except they rise above large ridges. the pyramidal shape and the layered rock tiers are the same. glacial ice has formed them, in my opinion. i like to think there could have been early civilizations that we know little or nothing about, but i need some real, accurate data to believe in it. incredible theories demand credible proofs.

Wow. This one is sooooo out there it’s almost hilarious, and yet also kind of sad? 😓😅Impossible to believe people seriously proposed such outlandish theories with practically zero evidence, with not even any proposed purpose for these “structures”.
Have you looked into any of Graham Hancock’s recent work? He put his reputation out on a limb like 25 years ago by challenging the proposed timeline of human history, suggesting that it is possible our history is much older and stretches back to around the younger-dryas-and over the last few decades, the research has filled in (particularly with the discovery of Gobekli Tepe) more and more to support his (then-scorned) very reasonable hypotheses, acknowledging that our ancestors were simply very accomplished and advanced architects. His work is incredibly enlightening and he’s a particularly engaging writer. If you haven’t checked out some of his interviews with people like Randall Carlson, you can’t miss them. They’re amazing. Graham Hancock also famously presented alongside (and trounced) Zahi Awass himself a few years back. It’s some interesting archaeology drama-something that rarely happens😆

    • @PhoenixLyon
      @PhoenixLyon 2 роки тому +5

I think very highly of Hancock and Carlson. I watched more than one Joe Rogan with one or both of them. I definitely lean in their direction. Wouldn't it be crazy to find ruins on the Moon and Mars, (as speculated) only to discover that our own ancestors were the builders? I've got a few 'whacked' theories. ✌😸

It was supposed to be a debate, ZA backed out at the last minute and they agreed to do consecutive presentations summarizing their arguments for the timeline of mankind, but then after all that, he LEFT while graham gave his presentation! Then they jointly accepted questions from the audience and a woman very bravely asks Zahi Awass about Gobekli Tepe and whether its discovery changes his mind at all, and BECAUSE HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE RESPECT TO SIT IN ON GRAHAMS VERY COMPELLING PRESENTATION, he literally had no idea what she’s talking about and gets humiliated by this badass woman in the audience. She asks him clearly multiple times and graham says something like “if you’d had the manners to sit in on my presentation as I did yours, you would know what we’re discussing. But unfortunately that’s not the case so let me summarize quickly for you:” and proceeds to humiliate him even further in front of the audience. It’s amazing.

Throughout the American Southwest, there are many mountains, some scarcely larger than hillocks, that ofttimes are standing out by themselves, or just narrowly separated from other mountains, that come in a variety of shapes, some that look very much like pyramids. All that is demonstrated is that geological, and even weather, forces can mold our landscapes in incredible ways. It is fun to see them and marvel at their appearance, but that appearance has nothing to do with the work and effort of man.

I'm not averse to thinking there might have been civilizations pre-dating the current groups considered the first civilizations. I mean we know that about 12k years ago a literal ocean fell from the top of a glacier raising the world water levels a rather large amount in less then 24 hours. Humans tend to settle on coasts or along rivers, so it's hardly unreasonable to think there are vast amounts of evidence of human pre-history beneath the oceans. Look at the potential evidence of structures under the waters of the coast of Japan, or the potentially human worked and laid slabs of stone under water in the Caribbean. That said, not enough research has been done to confirm or deny much about such things.
That said...40k years ago is a bit of a stretch to think modern humans were building pyramids of that size, especially in a polar region during an ice age. They look like mountains to me :P

    • @christopherdaffron8115

Most of the studies that I have seen/watched on the pyramids in Egypt state that the angle of incline of the later pyramids is about 57 degrees which seems to be the optimal angle of incline which would make them the most stable. Earlier pyramids in Egypt used a much steeper angle and later fell apart. So there does seem to be a natural angle of incline that would become most stable in a mountain formation over long periods of erosion. Had there never been any pyramids made in Egypt, I doubt anyone would suggest that these mountains were man made pyramids. At least they don't claim that they were made by aliens from outer space.

Here in Mexico, there are numerous massive pyramids (including the largest pyramid by volume in the world, the Great Pyramid of Cholula) which are built in the multi-stage pyramid-on-pyramid-on-pyramid style, supposedly over many centuries, even by different civilizations. Literally hundreds of not well-known pyramids and ancient sites throughout Mexico alone, and many of them are just big stone structures without an apparent "use". Interesting that many of the ancient sites are debated among historians about timeframes of construction and which civilization built them, then subsequently abandoned them, and in some instances, supposedly buried them. Just wanted to point out that there are a lot of "weird" historically-accepted claims as well.

The Ice Age did have certain warming periods within it. It wasn't uniformly all cold, and there is evidence that Russia was considerably warmer during certain periods of the paleolithic. The Volga River in particular was a region full of wildlife, including the Eurasian Unicorn, and it would be hard to believe that it would be that way if Russia was as cold as it was supposed to be during the whole Ice Age. The interesting thing about this pyramid site is that it is not too far from the location of the Ural Mountains where humans, Neanderthals, and possibly Denisovans were reproducing with each other. If the Russian pyramids are legitimate, they may not have even been built by homo sapiens sapien but possibly by Neanderthals.

I agree that research is super important. I wish I shared your optimism about "scientists" doing everything in their power to disprove their hypothesis but I've seen in almost every major field of science where this is not done and that makes it very difficult for the scientists that do. They say, science advances one funeral at a time. I hope we can get better at this but for now, I have to continue to be skeptical of even mainstream science, ESPECIALLY, when there are highly funded propaganda campaigns to make you believe them.
Following the science is always a good place to start. Following the money is a good way to see where there might be conflicts of interesting and can expose "bad science."
The 'Clovis First' phenomenon is an obvious example but I've seen the same things in the search for Dark Matter, the medical field, and even climate science.

It is well known, and well established, that the triangular shape is one of the easiest for nature to make. Lay 3 sticks (roughly straight) on the ground and you have a triangle. After any storm (disturbance), you can easily find where nature has created a triangle. Making this 3-D, does require a little more effort in needing a 4th side instead of just 3. However, such a shape stands up very well to its own weight and the forces of gravity pulling it down. Since this shape is much smaller on top than its base it does not topple nor tear down easily. In nature, it is not usually as regular as man-made ones, but natural forces can create a very regular shape over time, and it will stand up very well. To be a man-made pyramid, one must first show how nature could not have created this shape. So far, that has not happened with these mountains, therefore they are not man-made.

I personally wonder what they had to back their claims, like:
    - How exact are they allgned to north, south, east and west ?
    - The stone slabs they are supposed to be built of, are they of stone or 'concrete' ?
    - If concrete, is it of a better quality than what we are able of producing today ?
    - Are there any underground structures connected to the pyramids ?
    - How many pyramids and how are they alligned to each other ???

I think you give the various *ologists too much credit. They are human too, subject to all the foibles thereof.. I remember reading about back in the 80s or 90s when middle eastern archaeological dates were being re calibrated based on volcanic ash layers, some Greek archaeologists were physically attacking people at meetings and conferences over it. I think similar things happened in Israel as well. I remember a line about someone being surprised by the reaction because they thought archaeologists would be delighted to learn their pottery clock was only off by 40 years because paleontologists can only estimate within a million years. Or something like that. It's been probably 20-25 years since I read that. Anyway, we should not trust scientists too much just like we shouldn't trust anyone too much.

I have a theory about a biblical passage that speaks of rain, for 40 days and 40 nights. What would cause such an event? With the discovery of many underwater standing structures, this Bible verse seems to be a recount of an actual event. There's two likely events that come to mind, one is that a massive volcanic eruption took place that blanketed the earth in cloud and dust. The other theory is that a comet stuck the earth in what is known today as the Gulf of Mexico. There's a certain government project that involved a bunch of citizen researchers from across the globe, ( myself included.) we were researching a military gravesite in Florida, near the Gulf of Mexico only to discover a few oddities which suggested the presence of tunnels in the area, a sort of cascading butterfly effect of information ensued leading to the conclusion of an ancient event that caused a massive amount of damage.

they look like natural formations the give away is that you can see the sedimentary layers in the rock formations themselves. I think people will take something like this and make a huge and dramatic explanation to prove what ever theories they believe in it does not match up with other human made objects where you can see the construction layers that have worn away. plus the way the mountain formations are so close together kind of supports the idea they are natural unless there is evidence of human inhabitants it would not make sense that these are anything but natural .....

Ok Kayleigh, so the pictures of pyramids mountains isn't on the Russian peninsula. Were there any pictures of pyramid mountains in Russia?
The site in Indonesia you brought up is a fascinating site with tons of columnar basalt. How was that geologist associated with these sites?
There are definitely intriguing sites to look at in Russia.
I think it serves all of us to question the conclusions of some of the academic disciplines you mentioned. Example, archeologists and the like have said the America's Were only populated within the last 12000 years by means of a land bridge. Many a discovery to the contrary was dismissed and careers ruined only to be proven later. The older culture carved many statues that had Caucasian, African, and Polynesian features. Oh, supposedly those intrepid land Bridge sprinters had voracious appetites and killed off crazy numbers of mega fauna on their way to Argentina and Chile.
The assertion that all these magnificent ancient cultures didn't know of each other and interact is absurd as well. Lookat the polygonal and megalithic building techniques that can be found all over the planet. Metal clamps poured in place to lock gigantic stones in place to prevent separation is an amazing feat to ascribe to an ancient site. To discover it used in multiple site from different cultures supposedly from different epochs is astounding. There's more to the history than historians can prove or disprove. 😎🌹

The headline says "Hyperborea", but "Hyperborea" means different things depending on the source that is referenced. In any case, in spite of being very far north, at least according to the Greeks, Hyperborea was supposedly warm and temperate. I don't think that the latitudes of areas like the Kola Peninsula have been warm and temperate since maybe the mid Miocene.

That area is VERY remote, very cold, and in a place known to many as the home of the Russian navy. If anything, it is a place where strange things could go unnoticed for thousands of years. Partly above the arctic circle, where part of the year the sun doesn't go down, which I think is much more important than simple trivia. If an ancient with half a brain spent the summer there, how could they go back to their civilization believing the earth was flat, or that the sun circled the earth? Simply asking a southern friend "Hey, wasn't it weird how the sun didn't go down for 3 months?" and getting the response makes you recalibrate your worldview. The fact that anyone lived there thousands of years ago is interesting enough for me. An ancient global civilization would leave evidence in places like this, where modern civilization has a difficult time destroying it. The pyramid idea in Kola is silly. The place is full of mountains already! Why go crazy building more?
