You may want to put a zip-tie around the tape to keep it from coming loss / off. Any bike trips coming up?

Yes might put a zip tie on for security...good suggestion.

Aldi have a tape similar to that Noel. I used it on my radiator hose where I installed the temprature guage on the bike.
