I love the digital cars.. Compared to the tracks back in the 70s, these are super cool. But the problem is that the cars still fall off the track.. I don't understand why TCR didn't become the standard for tracks. The cars couldn't fall off the tracks. The cars would low quality when I got them, but with some improvement, I think TCR would have been the way to go.
if the cars do not fall off track, is imposible to race. real car races is exactly the same.If you push harder, add more power, you have to drive better to avoid go off track, imagine a real car where you can race just pushing the gas to maximum, at the start, an just do that, no worries to go outside, no need to brake… who will win? the cars in slot car is the same, you have to drive full speed when it is possible, and break as later as possible.
@@Firststateracingclub Hey talonk24 nice setup. If you are using the stock carrera control unit, how many amps are you outputing from the bench variable power supply? Just asking because I talked with carrera about how many amps it could handle and they said 8 amps max.
Your chassis setup produces realistic speeds. It's all the more fun to watch and I imagine more fun to race.

how are you racing more than 4 cars on 1/24 set up i thought you can only do 4 cars?
gizmo if you use a power supply that has enough amps you can have 6 cars on the track at once. Our power supply is 30 volts and 20 amps

covert ops carrera slots we set it to 10 amp but cars don’t draw that much amps
