The guy who won really knew how to get everything out of the car without pushing it too far too many times. He was so far out in the lead with his overall driving skill that his mistakes barely hurt him. Personally I like to play it safer and not crash at all but he really was on top of his game.
Man, thought that old guy in blue shirt might have a stroke or doin' impression of Joe Cocker...but it sure can drive lapped everyone 2x, Way to go old dude!

Yeah he was looking all autistic and rainmanish, but he was definitely in the zone, and obviously one Heck of a racer! The kid next to him did an awesome job too, does my heart good to see young people these days racing. Way to many of them have their head stuck in an I-pad.

Reminds me of the 60-70s, as a hobby it was inexpensive, $3 an hr. More if you had to rent the set-up.
I would wager an 8 track, 20' track with a bleacher stand for driver's, installed in a warehouse district, in a progressive city, would fetch $15-20 @hr. 8x20x5= $ 700 p day. +- 150. X 6 day's $ 4900 est @ wk.
X's 40 wks @ yr. = 197.340.00
Subtract 120k Overhead. $77k est.
Not bad if you love the hobby !

Isnt the far lane the longest. Either the outside guy needs to go harder or its just disadvantage can you make the distance up with the hights speeds in the corners.
it evens out when corners turn the other way then the outside is the inside and so on
since I saw how they build wooden ones I dont get impressed by plastic-tracks anymore
