It differs from person to person. However, this resonates with me. I also found it helpful when I realized I didn’t have the language to describe the immense pain. Saying I’m really hurting wasn’t enough, to closest thing to what I was feeling was to say I was suicidal, however in therapy I realized, that I just didn’t have the language. People tend to not be that helpful/supportive unless you are in dire need. But we should have a way to communicate and get support before it gets to that point.

Last week, Gabor mate talked about how people behave when they’ve experienced trauma, especially childhood trauma it’s called trauma response. I could be wrong, but that’s what I see -- is jada’s trauma release. The way she behaved her whole life was a response to her not feeling loved, and now she’s unraveling it to the best of her ability. Great interview, I have compassion for her, and all of us who have been traumatized in childhood. May we all heal by hearing each others’s stories.

Grief is so different and until you have lost someone you loved so dearly with no closure , you will never understand the depths of pain. It’s easy to say “get over it “ because she married someone else doesn’t ease the pain, doesn’t just erase that part of her life. I lost my son 9 yrs ago and his wife is still single …my husband lost his first wife and he still cries it’s been 21 yrs for him. I don’t judge him because there is no time for grief and love doesn’t just die because the person dies it actually gets stronger because your mind needs protection from so much pain. I pray for Jada and her family it’s deep but I commend her for not committing suicide.

Both her and Will were young, he just got divorced, hurt and wounded and her friends just died and they were both hurt and wounded. So attracted each other and forced each other to heal

The breakdown you described sounds like a culmination of years of pent-up stress and exhaustion. It's a harsh reminder that we're not invincible, even when we try to be strong for others. After listening to Jada I have a much deeper level of respect for her. The very fact that she’s alive, in her right mind, and able to do this in front of the world- is huge. Congratulations 🎉🎈🍾 Jada. When someone is a survivor our greatest message is- hey if I can make it this far, so can you. It’s our way of trying to empower others. The only difference between Jada and myself- our role’s are/were different. Her becoming an actress caused her to continue to heap so much more on her and in her soul. My becoming born again ( at 19) was a an instant collision with my two selves. Old and new. Me going all in with God - started building a foundation that has kept me and made me who I am today. God’s Grace- saved us both from certain death. She could have been shot/ or committed suicide and I was on a road of sure destruction to myself and everyone in my path. I applaud 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Jada. You are an Overcomer and have a lot to offer as a result of your journey. Keep making a difference 🥰🌹❤️

Jada, gosh, thank you for your truth and for your vulnerability. So much of what you shared resonated deeply. "I'm still working out my relationship with grief." "Heartbreak breaks you open...you can go into this deep wells of darkness or you can go into this deep wells of light...use heartbreak, discontent pain to search for the bright light and beautiful blessings in them."

Jada I see you. Even though we come from very different backgrounds/life circumstances, I connected with your emotional journey in a way I am still struggling to articulate. I wish Hollywood was not such a crazy place and you were accessible because - girl. The things we could talk about. The articulation of your personal evolution is awe inspiring. I’m in Central California. Meh. ZZzzz..
I’m in a very similar growth cycle and this interview had me laughing, crying and nodding my head yes, yes! I totally get the part about being a zero priority to parents; the existential disappointment of life being what it is (humanity is really exhausting); the chronic state of discontent (and feeling guilty about it!); suicide -- something is asking to die - but not you; heart break being a seed that breaks you open (that line belongs in music by the way!). I could go on and on. I’ve recently been watching this guy on youtube called Quazi Johir. His stuff mostly focuses on his business as his end goal - but so much of what he has to say about the way we think about ourselves is SO spot on! He might spark your mind!

It had to be more impactful than she can admit. That one moment in time probably imprinted the unworthy feelings about men.. more than any other relationship. Her kids mental health, her husband's mental health, and everything that she is, looka t her talk, she is a proper sociopath, with so many disorders, she is not inspiring at all. And somehow she is the victim?
She has not done anything, any work, anyhting that adds any value to anyone's life, not even her family, what are you talking about!
All she has been is a hoe and a drug dealer.
She is a liar, manipulator, cheater, and she is pretty well-dcumented for all this to be backed by evidence.
Her family has also spoken about this numerous times.
Celebrating her, may just call for self-reflection on the part of those supporting her.
She has not brought any value to anyone's life, and in fact, she has gone and destoryed, and she justifies it all by becoming the innocent victim of a tough childhood and bad choices.
She takes no responsibility, and randomly goes into moments of grandiosity of owning the world of drugs and being unstoppable.
What are you really celebrating or glorifying here?
she has prolly ruined many innocent lives by supporting drug habits, including her children's.

I observed early on how Will does NOT protect Jada and, he is quickly to place the blame on her. Will is not a wimpy, passive man who is bring manipulated by his wife. He is and has been doing as he pleases under the guise of having a wife who is unappreciative, opinionated, and manipulative, and vindictive. While the truth is that Jada is unhappy, because she has to pretend, turn her head and act as though her marriage is solid and she doesn’t care if Will is with other people, because she is going her own thing. She does not want yo go her own thing. She wants yo share her life with her husband, but he has chosen to live a double life and make it look as though she is the problem. So, that slap in the face looked like a protective husband, but it was a response triggered by public embarrassment, because Will is protective of his public image, not his wife.

After step one is accomplished she then becomes the perceived victim who "survived" the trauma (which she caused) and overly glorifies her recovery process to make it seem that it was a inspirational journey of self growth for her.

I think they were both/are both ambitious to a fault (society enables that so not saying they are to blame…we create celebrity) and maybe her more so still as she has perhaps not been humbled as maybe, maybe, maybe Will has been after a very public very bad mistake? She just “Wanted to look into his eyes” really? Cause she admits early on to being ambitious herself though it was like an aside not like taking authentic inventory and accountability…she liked Will’s ability to fit in anywhere which is liking a means to an end and power not a description that speaks to who the man is his strengths and concomitant vulnerabilities.

If this host or others can't recognize a narcissist then its a real shame. And women will sympathize with her as no woman wants to take responsibility for cheating - its always someone else's fault.... (anyone with half a brain can see how hurt Will Smith was in that red table talk and how evasive she was - that's not a woman who had sex when they were on a break, thats a woman who had an affair) Why can't interviewers call her out or even ask her 'difficult' questions... ???

I actually dont think she's fake, but like she's admitted herself she has a lot of unhealed trauma. I just don't think people are used to someone's vulnerability, emotions and trauma being televised.
A lot of time when we traumatised, we re-live pain over and.over because its normal. I think once she let's go of Tupac and emotionally and mentally puts him to rest, she will find a lot of freedom but its clear how they ended is probably stopping her doing that.
Also, back to Will. Its very clear Will wasn't her type and sometimes when you force something you can end up self-sabotaging. She's doing it over and over again televised. Another thing, that people aren't used to seeing.
But we are all human, everyone's self-sabotaging at some point but we aren't televised doing it😅

Your upbringing affects so much of what you become and all the negative connotations to things are such a blocker to work around. No hate on Jada for sharing her story.
