Building an Infinity Mirror Door

- We built a doorway sized infinity mirror using a custom sized mirror, wood, LEDs, & a two way mirror, custom sized acrylic sheet. Then painted a door red & bracketed it to the infinity mirror to create a doorway that leads to an infinite LED hallway illusion for an interactive art installation. Come see more of our art this summer at our event THEHAUSOFEDEN.com

Nice
I've been looking at idea for a Halloween themed infinity mirror, and this is close to what I'm trying to do. However, I'm a little surprised that you would spend the time and money you did on this project, and limit it so much by only using basic LED stips. Anyway. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the mirror and acrylic sheet. Having difficulty finding a decent deal. Thanks. Good job, too!
what would you use as opposed to basic led strips? I would be very interested to know as I plan on spending some time and money on this as well
@@paintballmonkey666 When I said that, I just meant one could dress it up a bit more. LED strips may be the most inexpensive option, but if you recess it and cover it with opaque acrylic strips to diffuse the light may give it a better look. I was trying to make a hellscape, and was using recessed orange/red bulbs with computer fans and tissue paper so it looks like flames on the bottom. Then red and orange recessed string lights on the sides and top behind the printed scenery to give it more of a glow.
