I'm grateful to have found this playlist. I feel just from this lesson that I can finally learn Tai Chi with this playlist. I'm excited to continue. Thank you.
Thank you. This looks so graceful. I've only recently come to find this form and LOVE it. If you do the complete form, about how long does it take doing all the movements?
Welcome, Jay! I'm glad you love this form. The whole form takes about 6-8 minutes to do depending on your speed. Feel free to check out the playlist and follow along with us. I go over 1-2 new moves weekly to help the students learn slowly. Would love to hear your feedback :)
@@JennyLuYoga After attending classes for several years for Tai Chi for Arthritis (Dr. Paul Lam's), I am finding it much easier to follow by watching the Back Views. The Mirror Image sometimes finds me turning totally around. Any suggestions to make it easier to follow? I know I need to watch the mirror image in order to see the hand movements.
@@jaypinson8080 Back view is easier to follow for sure, which is why I record both back view and mirror image for each sequence. I hope you were able to find the different views under the Tai Chi Playlist on this channel. You're right about seeing the hand movements better in mirror image, and it's so good for our brain too :)
Hi! Thank you for this video. I'm considering returning to Tai Chi after a long absence. I trained in Chen style, will I have trouble adapting to Yang? There are similarities but overall it seems quite different. I'm nearly 70 years old, by the way.
You’re welcome, Jim. It’s always nice to meet a fellow practitioner. I think you’ll enjoy Yang style Tai Chi’s slow, smooth, continuous flowing movements. They’re more gentle on the joints and are great for health and healing. Enjoy your practice ☯️
@JennyLuYoga , thank you. I will start attending in person classes next year for the 37 form, and your videos will be really helpful when I practicing at home between classes. Love your material, it’s very clear and concise.
I’m new here.Nice channel !Could I do this after the Qigong 15 minute routine that you most recently posted?Generally, what order would you recommend doing both? QG first then Tai Chi after or perhaps doing them on alternating days? Please advise how to mange ,incorporate both into my week .Thank you ^_^
Welcome! Thank you for your kind words. You can practice the 15 minute morning Qigong to get the blood and energy flowing first, then practice Tai Chi. These are gentle healing practices that you can do daily. Enjoy your practice 🙌🏼
Thank you! Your channel will be my go-to for tai chi yang style.
Thank you so much! Enjoy your practice!

You're very welcome, Jason! I'm grateful that you're here too. Enjoy your practice ☯
Thank you, Ms. Lu. This is helpful. I hope that you will choose to post examples for the rest of the form.
I'm glad it's helpful, Mr. Boyer. You can check out the rest of the form under the "Tai Chi Playlist" in this channel.
